Quiet Yourself and Listen

Psalm 27:4 (TPT) Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.

Beloved, in the beauty of our intimacy I cherish all you share with Me even as you are called to revere all I share with you. When you love and respect someone, you value their thoughts and dreams, requests and petitions. So I take great pleasure in yours. 

There’s no need to guard your heart from Me, beloved, for your heart is safe in My hands. I love you, and what matters to you, matters to Me. Can you say the same? Be sure to take the time to sit, quiet yourself, and listen. Resist the urge to rush Me to speak. Wait upon Me, and delight in My glory and grace as you gaze upon the beauty of My face.

Adonai Ori (the Lord your Light)

Psalm 27:1 (TPT) The Lord is my revelation-light to guide me along the way…

Beloved, I AM Adonai Ori, the Lord your Light. Look to Me for clarity and wisdom. Look to Me for direction and insight. Look to Me to illuminate that which is murky or hidden in darkness. For I see all, and I understand all. I AM conscious of the hidden things for nothing is hidden from Me. 

I AM at work in the midst of every situation, so look to Me and seek to know how you fit within My plan. My eye is on you and My light is within you, so shine even as you follow My directing rays.

More Like Me

Romans 12:2 (TPT) …be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Beloved, surrender your thoughts to Mine. Trust My perspective and trust Me to bring truth, for I AM truth. Allow My Holy Spirit to align your thoughts to Mine – make My views and beliefs your own, for Mine are rooted in truth. For I see and I understand. 

Resist the urge to allow your personal experiences to cloud your understanding of truth. Often the words and actions of those around you reflect a perspective based in falsehood. Simply because it is reflected does not make it true. 

So look to Me to bring truth and clarity, and then believe what I tell you. When I say you are beautiful and loved and precious, those things are fact regardless of whether others have reflected those truths to you accurately. So fix your gaze on Me, and allow Me to transform your mind by helping you be more like Me.  Continue reading “More Like Me”

Find the Truth in My Gaze

Proverbs 16:6 (TPT) You can avoid evil through surrendered worship and the fear of God, for the power of his faithful love removes sin’s guilt and grip over you.

Beloved, not only is your praise a mighty weapon, but it is a fearsome shield as well. It keeps your attentions focused on that which is good and true, and protects you from the enemy’s diversions. A besotted bride is not tempted by another, for her gaze is too well-fixed on the one she holds so dear. 

And, as this bride rests in the adoration of her beloved, she is not thinking of all the ways she’s missed the mark or all her personal shortcomings, for her reality is painted by his perception – that of his pure and spotless bride. In the same way, beloved, find your truth in My gaze.

Holy and Set Apart

Malachi 2:6 (TLB) He passed on to the people all the truth he got from me. He did not lie or cheat; he walked with me, living a good and righteous life, and turned many from their lives of sin.

Beloved, I pour in that you might pour out. You are a conduit not a reservoir. You are set apart with an intentional call and purpose. Walk in it. Release that which I have deposited in you. 

Walk in truth and righteousness, beloved. You have no idea the impact your simple obedience has in heaven and on earth. It is atmosphere changing. Walk with Me – holy and set apart.

Precious Inheritance

Psalm 2:8 (TPT) Ask me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy. Your domain will stretch to the ends of the earth.

Beloved, I love My creation and I long for intimacy with every person I have created. Each one unique and beautiful – a rainbow of beauty with hearts that I relentlessly seek. The nations are My precious inheritance, bring them home to Me. 

Shine brightly in all your glorious uniqueness, revealing Me simply by being you. Reflect Me and be that harvest light that calls My children home. Hold nothing back, beloved. Be all you’ve been created to be and in doing so glorify Me.

True Love

Song of Solomon 8:7 (VOICE) …If a person tried to exchange all of his wealth for love, then he would be surely rejected.

Beloved, you cannot buy My love anymore than I can gain your constancy through gifts. A love available for purchase is no love at all. So if your love is conditional upon My blessings, it is not truly love.

Love stands in the face of trials and adversity. Love is immovable and unchangeable. True love is unconditional and constant. That is the love I have lavished on you. Will you lavish the same upon Me?

The Spirit and the Bride Say Come

Revelation 22:17 (TPT) “Come,” says the Holy Spirit and the Bride in divine duet. Let everyone who hears this duet join them in saying, “Come.” Let everyone gripped with spiritual thirst say, “Come.” And let everyone who craves the gift of living water come and drink it freely. “It is my gift to you! Come.”

Beloved, the earth is groaning. And those with ears to hear know the urgency and the cadence like a heartbeat of the Spirit and the Bride saying, “Come!” Over and over the cry continues, “Come!”

As you join in with the the voices – both aloud and in your hearts and spirits as the cry resounds, “Come!” Drink deeply of the water of life. Be saturated even as you cry for more. Let the deep wells of spiritual desire be filled to overflowing as your heart continues the echo, “Come!”

I AM the Lover of Your Soul

Song of Solomon 8:6 (VOICE) Set me as a seal over your heart; wear me as an emblem on your arm For love is as strong as death, and jealousy is as relentless as the grave. Love flares up like a blazing fire, a very ardent flame.

Beloved, be overcome with devotion for Me. I AM the lover of your soul, the One your heart desires – the only One who can truly fulfill you. Hunger for Me, as I ardently burn for you. Nothing can diminish My love for you, and let nothing dampen your fiery passion for Me.

Wear My love like a brand – a mark clearly identifying you as belonging to Me. For you do. And nothing can break that covenant connection. Let the world see and know, for I will not share your affections, beloved. You have given yourself to Me, so you are indeed Mine.

Bringing Forth Abundant Life

Romans 12:2 (VOICE) Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

Beloved, feel My breath of life speaking over you – changing you, bringing radical transformation as you blossom and flourish. How dramatic a change is seen between a flowering tree in autumn versus spring. 

In the same way, beloved, don’t concern yourself with the areas that may seem dry and barren now because as you continue to maintain steadfast focus on Me and My Spirit, I will bring forth abundant life.  Continue reading “Bringing Forth Abundant Life”
