Burn Like Holy Fire

Consuming Fire by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

That burning inside you is of Me.  I placed that flame inside you and the wind of the Holy Spirit fans it. Giving it strength when needed. The strength to stand up for injustice, to fight for one another. We are at war!  The things of this world and the things of Heaven.  The enemy would rather you be quiet and let your fire die down to tiny embers. I stoke the fires, I resurrect the dead things.

Double Portion of Faith

2 Kings 2:9 (NKJV) And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”

Beloved, ask and you shall receive. So ask. Ask for a double portion of faith. An encompassing faith that shields and protects in such a way that you are unshakable, the onslaught of the enemy will not shift or overtake you, and your faith in Me never wavers.

Feel your hopeful expectations rising, like the waters of the tide coming in, your capacity to believe big is increasing. You serve a wonder-working God, so expect the miraculous. Stand in faith for it. Encourage others’ faith for it. Stand and believe. Continue reading “Double Portion of Faith”

Put Aside Any Substitute

2 Kings 23:5 (NLT) He did away with the idolatrous priests, who had been appointed by the previous kings of Judah, for they had offered sacrifices at the pagan shrines throughout Judah and even in the vicinity of Jerusalem. They had also offered sacrifices to Baal, and to the sun, the moon, the constellations, and to all the powers of the heavens.

Beloved, refuse any substitute. I AM the only true God. I AM the Lord God your Creator, the Lord of Hosts, king of Heaven and Earth. I AM sovereign. There is none like Me. Refuse to hold anything or anyone in higher esteem, for I AM the only One worthy and the only One faithful and good.

Set aside any false gods. Pause and see with new eyes that you might see them. Step away from those who encourage other gods or who who breed falsehood. Be true, beloved, and stand in righteousness. Continue reading “Put Aside Any Substitute”

Ask

2 Kings 6:17 (GW) Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, please open his eyes so that he may see.” The Lord opened the servant’s eyes and let him see. The mountain around Elisha was full of fiery horses and chariots.

Beloved, ask Me to see. I have given you eyes to see and ears to hear so you are able. There is nothing to fear, for I AM with you always. Truly, legions of angels stand at the ready, engaging on your behalf at My request in response to your prayers. So ask, beloved.

Ask to see. Ask for help. Seek Me – My hand and My assistance. I AM YHVH Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts – leader of the heavenly armies. Nothing can stand against me and succeed. So stand with Me.

Mirror My countenance – one of peace and love firmly rooted in truth – be like Me. Love like you’ll never get hurt. Eyes wide open. Knowing your heart is in My hands and it is safe there. Your pain is never wasted, beloved – I collect every tear so priceless is your heart to me. Trust Me and trust My plans for you for I AM God and I AM good.

Far More With You

Exodus 14:19 (VOICE) God’s messenger, who had been out front leading the people of Israel, moved to protect the rear of the company; the cloud pillar moved with him from the front to the back of them.

Beloved, I AM your covering. My heavenly hosts stand at the ready – guarding and protecting – alert and ready to execute My command. Our desire is to protect you from that which would seek your harm. I AM on your side and the hosts of heaven act on My behalf.

Whether you physically see My presence before you, I AM always with you. My hosts ever around you. Truly, beloved, there are far more with you than against you. Ask Me to open your eyes that you might see. Continue reading “Far More With You”

Heart of the Ocean

2 Kings 20:1-5 (NKJV) [emphasis added] “In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’” Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying,“Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.
