Silk: River of God

Inspired by the Gateway:61 song which was played during worship this past week (here’s a clip of me worshipping as they sang it). I inadvertently shared this same silk again once I had pictures of the worship leader (whose song inspired this) wearing her crinkle silk of the same style! The name of this silk is River of God. The colors in it are:

• Light turquoise representing refreshing waters
• Cayman island green representing river of God
• Emerald green representing healing waters
• Turquoise representing rivers of living water
• Deep dark blue representing deep waters

The scriptures that go with it are:

• Psalm 1:1-3 (VOICE) God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn: when you don’t follow the advice of those who delight in wicked schemes, When you avoid sin’s highway, when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse. For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness. It is your focus—from dusk to dawn. You are like a tree, planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun. No matter what you do, you prosper.
• John 7:38-39 (AMP) He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’” But He was speaking of the [Holy] Spirit, whom those who believed in Him [as Savior] were to receive afterward. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).
• Ezekiel 47:12 (GW) All kinds of fruit trees will grow on both sides of the river. Their leaves won’t wither, and they won’t fail to produce fruit. Each month they will produce fresh fruit because this water flows from the holy place. The fruit will be good food, and the leaves will be used for healing.”

Beloved, be firmly rooted in My Spirit. Yield to His leading and flow. The Spirit can teach you all things, He will not lead you astray. Yield to the Spirit, beloved, trust Our heart for you.

John 7:39 (NLT) When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.

Psalm 36:8 They feast in the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.

I hear the call in the Spirit over you now: ‘Release the River! Release the River!’

God is calling you to be one who releases the river of His presence where you are. The place He has set you in is not by accident, you are there by His design. He is calling you to apply the gift of faith you have been given and release it over the people and place you reside in; over your atmosphere, over your area of influence.

‘Release the River! Release the River! Release the River of my presence, my child, where you are, into the world you reside in. You are a steward of my River on earth. Release what I have given you access to. Allow my River to wash over the people and the land. Respond to the call and release the River!’

Release it in song, in declaration, with created images and items, in the spoken Word and in the silence. The River of God is within you – it is straining to burst forth!

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s River of Life oil, which speaks of healing and purification. It can bring life to the land, people, relationships, situations, places… anything. It contains salt for purging, hyssop for purification, pomegranate for health and to represent the Blood, cyprus to cleanse anger, and cedar to cleanse bitterness.

The scripture that goes with this oil is 2 Kings 2:21-22, “And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.”
