Revelation 12:11 (KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Beloved, the threat of death no longer hangs over you for I have given you everlasting life. The enemy cannot steal this gift. Though he will try to thwart My plans in the earthly realm, eternity is in My hand and you, beloved, are Mine.
In this place of life is freedom, for no threat can change your eternal home as you cling steadfastly to Me. And in that freedom you are made whole. In that freedom, your light shines brightly – radiantly reflecting My glory – and drawing others to My Son.
Refuse to be dimmed. Refuse to be intimidated, clinging steadfastly to the truth of Who I AM. I AM YHVH, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, the Eternal One, and I reign.
Psalm 5:11 (TPT) But let them all be glad, those who turn aside to hide themselves in you. May they keep shouting for joy forever! Overshadow them in your presence as they sing and rejoice. Then every lover of your name will burst forth with endless joy.
Beloved, burst forth in praise! Like an excited child, refuse to restrain your exuberance for Me. As a good and loving father smiling over the zealous delight of their baby girl, so is My joy over you, My precious and cherished child. Stay hidden in Me.
Celebrate. Celebrate Me. Allow your joyful exuberance – your passionate praise – and your dedication to your faith to overflow in all you do. Your joy is contagious, drawing those around you closer. Stay unapologetically joyous, for it is pleasing to Me. I delight in you.
[Merriam-Webster’s Thesaurus defines “celebrate” as “to proclaim the glory of” and some of the synonyms and related words listed are “bless, praise, exalt, magnify, worship, adore.”]
1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own.
Beloved, never forget who you are and who you’re called to be. You are Mine. Called to be in My presence, to boldly approach My throne of grace. Called to minister at My feet, to pour out your life as a sweet offering to Me.
I receive you. You are acceptable in My sight. Lovely and beautiful, radiant for Me. I see you. You shine so brightly, beloved. Your face reflects My glory as you stay close to Me. Dwell in this place.
1 Peter 2:9-10 (TPT) But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it!
Jeremiah 1:5 (GW) “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose…
Beloved, come alive. Step into the fullness of all you’ve been created to be. No longer allow the lies of the enemy and the hurtful words and accusations of those who thought to increase their own standing by diminishing yours to coat you like mud. Refuse to hide My creation or to allow it to be hidden.
Let My Spirit wash away the dirt and debris to reveal the priceless gem you truly are. Your value has never changed. Just as a newly minted dollar bill has the same value as one that is aged, crinkled, and dirty, nothing you have said or done, and nothing said or done to you, changes the essence of who you are, your worth, My love for you, or My call on your life. It is time to come forth, beloved and walk in the fullness of your inherent identity. Continue reading “Your Inherent Identity”
Matthew 5:43-48 (TPT) …do something wonderful for the one who hates you…
Beloved, refuse to let someone else’s actions mandate the person you are. You are My child, a reflection of Me. You operate in humility, love, truth, mercy, and integrity. None of those things are conditional on someone else’s actions. Refuse to reflect someone else’s poor behavior.
Refuse to indulge a fleshly desire to “be right” or “show them”. Reflect love in the face of hate, and humility in the face of pride, honor in the face of perversion and integrity in the face of deceit. Refuse to let anything steal your witness. Allow Me to shine through you unhindered. Continue reading “Shine Unhindered”
1 John 1:1-7 (TPT) …We testify to this truth: the eternal Life-Giver lived face-to-face with the Father and has now dawned upon us…
Beloved, let your life and your mouth testify to the truth of who I AM. Shine before men – a radiant reflection of My glory – that those who know you might know Me. Be mindful that your words and actions align with My heart.
Do nothing to intentionally diminish the evidence of My hand in your life. There will always be those offended by Me. Remember when the world rejects you, they first rejected Me. Walk in the truth that I have accepted you and in the end that is all that matters. Continue reading “Be a Radiant Reflection”
John 15:4 (TLB) Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me.
Beloved, I AM the life-giving force. Press into Me and passionately pursue My presence. In Me you find life more abundantly, contentment and peace, and refreshing for your soul. My Spirit is water in a dry and weary land, and My word is the bread of life. Hunger and thirst and be satisfied. Find your life in Me.
Be transformed by the power of My presence. From glory unto glory allow My Spirit to shine in and through you. May My glory reflect in your countenance as it did on Moses’ face. Walk unveiled and unashamed, a living testament to your life-giving, life-changing God.
Matthew 5:43-48 (TPT) …bless the one who curses you…
Beloved, refuse to retaliate in kind. Refuse to stoop to a level that diminishes your witness. Responding in love isn’t the same thing as receiving the curse they’ve spoken, it is simply choosing a higher path – My path.
So bless all you touch, including those who curse you or seek to do you harm. Ask Me to move in their lives. Ask Me to touch them and heal their hearts. Blessing someone isn’t you submitting yourself as a doormat, it is you refusing to shift into a negative mindset simply because someone else is. Operate in love and bless without reserve. Psalm 139:14 (TPT) I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.
Beloved, resist the urge to compare yourself to others, for you have been uniquely made and if you use others as your guideposts, you will likely take yourself off track from My perfect will. Refuse to hold others up as the ideal to be achieved – only My Son should have that honor.
Instead seek Me, ask Me how you should live and who you should be. Beloved, your Creator knows you intimately, and I love every part of how I made you. You truly are fearfully and wonderfully made.
So own it. Embrace your unique makeup. You are a gift, created with intentionality and a purpose. Resist the urge to withhold that gift by hiding who you are. Refuse to believe the lie that different is somehow “wrong” and trust that I know what I’m doing. Beloved, you are beautiful and so loved. You are worth knowing. Shine without shame.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love… finds no delight in what is wrong…
Beloved, the world would have you believe that doing what is right is boring. It paints sin as lush and exciting – experiences meant to indulge in and enjoy. But beloved, the world doesn’t have your best interests at heart nor is it accurately accounting the truth.
One could paint touching a hot stove as exciting and an act of freedom, but without acknowledging the resulting burn and the amount of painful time spent healing (the momentary “positive” act of freedom weighed against the lengthy negative), the truth is not being reflected.
By painting sin as fun, joyous, and exciting, others are drawn into the trap. Refuse to bring others into bondage or needless pain by delighting in that which is evil.
Choose instead to walk in a manner that aligns with My word knowing it is the path of light. True joy and fulfillment are there. And any hardships along that path are for your benefit, to grow and be refined. You are a child of the day, so walk in the light and reflect the Son brightly.
