Mightier

Mighty Warrior” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Luke 22:42 (TPT) Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from me. But no matter what, your will must be mine.

This life will be full of trials and tribulations; embrace them as you encounter them. Our Heavenly Father has equipped you with all that you need to go “through” whatever you’re facing. Throughout Scripture, they prayed for God to help them get through it. Continue reading “Mightier”

A New You

“Transformed by the Spirit” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NLT) And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

From the moment we chose Christ, Holy Spirit enters us and starts transforming us from glory to glory. “Glory to glory” means one step at a time. So be patient with the progress. Be gracious with yourself just as our heavenly Father is.

Our habits, our attitudes, our wrong choices will change with time. Once we get impregnated with the Holy Spirit, we have all of His gifts in us. However, just like a pregnant woman doesn’t show in the beginning stages of pregnancy, neither do we. It takes time and constant intimate pursuit with the Father that will start showing our growth and change into the beautiful being He intended for us to be.

The more we pursue Him, the more we fall in love with Him, which automatically makes us want to do the right thing simply because we love Him!

Cherish Him

“Fervent Passion” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Daily we should die to ourselves so that we live with Christ. The flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong. Whenever doubt and fear try to sneak in, we can always rely on Holy Spirit to strengthen us and lift us up as long as we’re willing vessels.

So often we put unrealistic pressure on ourselves only to get discouraged when we don’t accomplish what we thought we had to. He died for us so that we can simply trust Him to guide and not us trying to do God’s job.

Love Him and trust Him blindly, like a child trusts their parents. Even when you stumble, know that He’s right there brushing the dust off your clothes, smiling at you and knowing that you want to make Him proud. So let’s have grace on ourselves and continue to cherish Christ’s sacrifice for us—because it is the most beautiful love story there could ever be!

Bold Persistence

“Emboldened by the Sustaining Source” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

2 Corinthians 3:12 (TPT) So then, with this amazing hope living in us, we step out in freedom and boldness to speak the truth.

You have been called to be bold for His Glory and His Holy name. Through Christ we have been set free, thus you have been empowered to speak the truth. Being bold doesn’t mean you have to beat others over the head with the truth. Simply stand firm for the truth of who our Heavenly Father is. Your life is the testimony of truth.

When you feel uncertain, grow weary or hopeless, with boldness approach our Heavenly Father. Allow Him to grow your boldness in multiple ways, one of which should be how to pray with boldness. Be persistent to pursue His promises for you. When your heart’s desire aligns with His, He will not deny you.

1 John 5:14 (TPT) Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we present any request agreeable to his will, he will hear us.

How Do I Hear God’s Voice?

“Peace Like a River” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

1 Kings 19:12 (NIV) After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.

One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How do you know you’re hearing God and are in His will?”

I remember personally asking this question so often, and for some reason, nobody could truly answer it. Now I can say I’m so thankful for my own personal journey with Papa and the amazing people He brought into my life that have shown and taught me so much. Regardless of what you’re facing at the moment, allow me to reassure you that you will appreciate the experience later, no matter how painful and difficult it may be. God is using every single situation to teach us and grow us closer to Him.

Now, how do I know I hear God? Peace! That is the answer to everything. It’s really that simple. Unfortunately, as humans, we love to overcomplicate things. Simply put, we have to step out of our comfort zone and trust God to guide us and lead us on the path He’s called us to. When we have that thirsty desire to please God and do His will, we have to take chances. It’s OK to make mistakes, however, we’re also responsible to own up to them and not make excuses or try to defend our actions. Learning how to hear God does mean making mistakes.

A small whisper, a gut feeling, an unexplained knowing—all of this followed by peace is God speaking! Be confident in who you are in the Lord. Don’t listen to the enemy’s lies. He’s the father of lies but we are the righteousness of God through Christ. Refresh your memory with what your true identity is in the Lord. Know that you hear Him. Know that He lives in you and that He will never leave you or forsake you.

John 16:33(NIV) “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Daily New Beginning

Psalm 103:12 (AMP) As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.

When God forgives us He literally forgets it at the same time. He looks at us as blameless and holy since Jesus is what makes us righteous  with God. Yet we tend to hold on to our past mistakes and go over them in our minds, over and over. We think that continuously apologizing for them  somehow sets us right with God when we already are! Unshakable Trust

1 John 4:13 (AMP) By this we know [with confident assurance] that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given to us His [Holy] Spirit.

Regardless how dim your current circumstances may seem, regardless how hopeless it may all look, regardless how much it appears your prayers aren’t being answered, Trust Him! Know that our Heavenly Father is always working, even when we can’t see it. So resist the urge to question Him “why” and trust Him with an unshakable trust knowing He’s got your very best at heart. Then when you get your “suddenly” know that it’s due to Him having worked behind the scenes preparing all things ahead of time as they needed to be aligned!

Sow with Peace

James 3:18 (VOICE) The seed that flowers into righteousness will always be planted in peace by those who embrace peace.

Peace is the currency of Heaven! Each step that you take or consider taking, pause first, and take an inventory of your motive… The motives of our heart are so crucial for the outcome of our actions.

Even if someone hurt us, return your response to their action with peace and love! Our biggest weapon against enemy attacks is LOVE. Continue to sow love with peace, and righteousness will flow from it. You are God’s righteousness through Christ! Remember that.
