True Treasure

Garden of Abiding” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Mark 10:21 (TPT) Jesus fixed his gaze upon the man, with tender love, and said to him, “Yet there is still one thing in you lacking. Go, sell all that you have and give the money to the poor. Then all of your treasure will be in heaven. After you’ve done this, come back and walk with me.”

Isaiah 33:5-6 (AMP) The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the security and stability of your times, A treasure of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is your treasure.”

A person’s true treasure is the kingdom of heaven—the heart of God, our Adonai. He calls us to lay down all the things, relationships, preconceived ideas, and beliefs that keep us from running wholeheartedly after Him. He desires us to be like little children. A visual I have is when a person a child loves and delights in walks into the room; that child lays down whatever they are doing and runs to be with that person. God’s deepest desire is for us to be childlike and run to be with Him and join Him in whatever He does. Continue reading “True Treasure”

Dyed4you Art Flag: Nissi

This is our Nissi flag, which features our YHVH Nissi silk. This flag is part of our Names of God” Dyed4you Art flag line. Each of these flags feature an image of a related Dyed4you silk, the word for which is included as part of the word that goes with this flag. Additionally, these flags are anointed with the same oils as the original silks.

The Hebrew lettering on this flag says: Jehovah Nissi, which means the Lord our Banner. This name comes from Exodus 17:15 (KJV) [emphasis mine] “And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:”

In scripture, the name of God is written with the Hebrew letters: yod-hey-vav-hey. This is sometimes noted in English by the acronym of the letters (YHVH); and sometimes vowels are added to create Jehovah, Yahweh (sometimes abbreviated YHWH), or Yehovah. All of these renditions refer to the one true God, the eternal one, maker of heaven and earth.

Though some people firmly believe in using one version over another, we use whichever one we feel led to given the circumstances. As Jehovah tends to be the most recognized version, that was what we felt led to use on this flag. Just as we see earthly parents and grandparents smile as their familial infants slaughter the pronunciation of their names, so we trust God will extend grace to us. We believe His primary concern is that we are in fact calling on Him. And the fact that we are gives Him much pleasure.

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Jehovah Nissi (the Lord our Banner).

Exodus 17:15 (NLT) Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”).

Beloved, I AM Jehovah Nissi – the Lord your banner, your miracle. And when that day of victory comes, be intentional to take note so that when future battles make you weary, you will remember you serve the victorious One.

Refuse to forget the successes of the past, and use them as memorial stones to build your foundation of faith so you will be unshakable in future. For I AM the same – yesterday, today, and forever – and I AM God.

The name of the silk in this piece is YHVH Nissi (the LORD my banner).

It has been prayed over and anointed with The Scent of Heaven’s Victory oil, which is used as a reminder that our victory is in Him. The scriptures that go with this oil are:

      • 1 Corinthians 15:57 – “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
      • 1 John 5:4 – “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith.”

Indeed you are able to do “all things through Christ who strengthens you.” God gives you the authority to fight and win the battle you face.

We pray it blesses you!

NOTE: If you’re wondering why I’ve shared this art flag letter, I explain on my personal blog in a post called God Speaking Through Silk why I began sharing these on my personal blog. Later, I felt led to share some on the Dyed4you Ministries blog as well. So I share some here and some there (you can find the ones there in the silk words and Dyed4you Art Flag category). Silk: YHVH Nissi (The Lord My Banner)

The name of your silk is YHVH Nissi (The LORD My Banner). The colors in it are:

  • Kelly green representing life
  • White representing victory
  • Indigo representing kingdom authority
  • Cobalt Blue representing standing on the Word of God

The scriptures that go with this silk are:

  • Exodus 17:9-15 (ESV) So Moses said to Joshua, “Chose for us men, and go out and fight… Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.” So Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought…while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword… And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The Lord Is My Banner.
  • Psalms 60:4 (NLT) But you have raised a banner for those who fear you– a rallying point in the face of attack.
  • Isaiah 59:19 (KJV) When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Where Does Our Help Come From?

Whom Shall I Fear” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

One day, I was meditating on how rest can be a powerful weapon in the spiritual realm, and Isaiah 30:15 came to mind, “For this is what Adonai Elohim, the Holy One of Isra’el, says: “Returning and resting is what will save you; calmness and confidence will make you strong —but you want none of this!” I often hear people quoting another translation of this Scripture, “in quietness and confidence is your strength.” While these words are a needed reminder, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the last part of that verse—God’s people resisted the call to return (repent) and rest. The Weapon of Rest

“Faithful Victory” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Beloved, the weapons of war I have given you are mighty and unlike anything of this world. I call you this day to take another look in your arsenal for a weapon that is often overlooked and undervalued—the weapon of rest. Yes, there are times when you need to exercise your faith in an active, forceful manner. However, there are some wars that can only be won through quietness and confidence, the times when I call you to simply rest and trust in My Word. Continue reading “The Weapon of Rest”

Fear My Name, I Have Redeemed You

“Fathomless God” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

The Fear of the Lord has many characteristics, promises, variations, and benefits. The awe of giving your reverence, honor, and full attention to the Savior King Jesus is just beautiful. The benefits of surrendering to a Holy God is mind-blowing. There is truly no other God besides Him.

Submit your thoughts and spend time in adoration and fear (awe and wonder) of His name. Listen to Him, and turn your affections to loving and obeying Him. Stand fast by placing your full trust and assurance in Him.

Allow your faith to be strengthened in fearing the name of the Lord —regardless of what you see. Live and walk according to the Spirit in repentance and humility. Fear His Name. Live in One Accord with the mind of Christ, forgiving one another and staying away from all evil. Obey His commandments.

“You are My witnesses I have chosen you. I Am with you. I’m doing a new thing. There is no God beside Me. My blessings are you and your offspring. Take delight in Me as I delight in you. I have called you by My name, and you are mine.

Isaiah 44:6-8 (NKJV) “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’ ”

“I renew and strengthen you with My righteous right hand. When you seek Me, you find Me. When you pray, I listen and answer in My perfect timing. You are named the priests and servants of God. You are a chosen kingdom of royalty.

“My promise is: instead of shame, I will pour double honor. I will replace confusion with the promise of rejoicing in your portion. In your land, you will possess double. I clothe My children with garments of salvation and robes of righteousness. I cause things that are sown to spring forth a spiritual harvest that is fruitful in due season.

Isaiah 61:6-8 (NKJV) But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 43:1 (NKJV) But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

“My people are a crown of glory in My hand, a royal diadem. I rejoice over you, and My rewards are plentiful.”

God delights in us and will be married to our God. He rejoices over us, as we rejoice with him too. His rewards are with him. We are the Redeemed, rescued, people of The Most High God!

Isaiah 62:3-5 (NKJV) You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For-the Lord delights in you, And your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.

Isaiah 59:19-20 (NKJV) So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” says the Lord.

Proverbs 19:23 (NKJV) The Fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.

Proverbs 22:4 (NKJV) By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.

Psalm 33:8-9 (NKJV) Let all the earth fear the Lord let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him for he spoke, and it was done he commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalms 33:18 (NKJV) Behold, the Eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in his mercy.
