Sacrifices and offerings were consumed by that holy fire. This pure and holy fire was to be the only source of acceptable fire before Him. Continue reading “Only God’s Fire”
Remember I AM
1 Chronicles 29:11 (VOICE) All that is great and powerful and glorious and victorious and majestic is Yours, O Eternal One. Indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to You. The kingdom belongs to You, O Eternal One, and You are the head of it all.
Beloved, I AM. Be intentional to never forget that simple truth. I AM that I AM – the same yesterday, today, and forever, and I AM awesome in power and majesty. Is anything too hard for Me? Remind yourself of who I AM and that you are Mine.
No need you have is too great, nor struggle you have is too overwhelming. I AM God. I AM the one who lifts men up and makes them great, and I AM the one who causes the proud to stumble. Give glory and reverence to Me, beloved, and remember I AM.
Who is More Deserving?
1 Chronicles 16:27 (DBY) Majesty and splendour are before him; Strength and gladness in his place.
Beloved, rejoice for I AM good. Release a sound of praise as a call of victory, for strength is found in My presence and you abide with Me. Behold My majesty. Pause in awe of My grandeur. My glory is resplendent, let wonder fill your face.
Who is more deserving of your worship? Who is more worthy of your praise? I AM the God of the impossible. I AM the One who moves mountains and causes the dead to rise. My glory fills the heavens and all creation sings My praise.
Pour out your acceptable offering. Be filled with My joy and strength. I extend My hand in welcome, so let hesitation fall away. Refuse to feel unworthy, for I have chosen you, I long for you, and I love you more than words can say.
Psalm 29:2 (DBY) Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.
Beloved, I AM worthy of all honor. I AM worthy of all praise. Worship Me in holy reverence and pour out an offering of praise. Do it simply because I AM worthy. Do it whether or not you are able to fully engage. The beautiful quality moments in any relationship are found in the quantity time spent together.
So share your time with Me. Meditate on who I AM. Take time to begin to truly comprehend the glory of My splendor, for I AM holiness itself and My splendor is unmatched. Know Me, beloved. Arrayed in Splendor
1 Chronicles 29:11 (DBY) Thine, Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the splendour, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is thine: thine, Jehovah, is the kingdom, and thou art exalted as Head above all;
Beloved, I AM arrayed in splendor. I AM the very essence of glory. I AM beauty, and I display My majesty for all to see. Pause and reflect on all I AM. Let your eyes and heart and mind be filled with the wonder of Me. Stand in awe and let your heart be enthralled by Me.
Stare in holy wonder, beloved, for I defy description. Yet there is purpose in the trying. Even though you can never fully understand the breadth, height, and depth of My love, it is worth the effort to try.
As you come to know Me more, the way you see everything changes – clarity comes and a rightness of scale. Things that once seemed overwhelming begin to feel manageable or even insignificant compared to Me – the One who loves and adores you, the One who is staunchly for you.
Fix your eyes on Me, beloved, and refuse to shift your gaze. Be fascinated by all that I AM and immerse yourself in My splendor and majesty. Continue reading “Arrayed in Splendor”
Complete in Me
1 Chronicles 28:20 (VOICE) Be strong, courageous, and effective. Do not fear or be dismayed. I know that the Eternal God, who is my God, is with you. He will not abandon you or forsake you until you have finished all the work for the temple of the Eternal.
Beloved, I have not given you a spirit of fear. So when all seems like it’s swirling around you, refuse to be overwhelmed. Instead press into Me, the King of Peace – shalom, the peace that wars against chaos – and allow Me to be your rest. I AM good, and kind, and I love you.
Allow My light to penetrate the fog that would overwhelm you, and choose to bask in My glory. With eyes fixed on Me remind yourself that I always finish what I start and I will strengthen you to accomplish all that you’ve been called to. Not one thing stolen, not one thing missing, you are complete in Me.
I AM Your Strong Tower
Isaiah 58:8 (VOICE) Then, oh then, your light will break out like the warm, golden rays of a rising sun; in an instant, you will be healed. Your rightness will precede and protect you; the glory of the Eternal will follow and defend you.
Beloved, as you walk in righteousness it is My joy to defend you. I will silence the tongues that seek to slander you and bring destruction on those who would seek your ruin. Behold I AM a Jealous God. I love My people beyond comprehension and woe to them that would stand against you.
I have warned not to touch My anointed. I have cautioned and made the consequences clear. I protect what is Mine, and beloved, you are Mine. I both cover you with My feathers (gently protecting), and I AM the Lord of Hosts (waging war on your behalf). You are not without covering. I AM your strong tower. You are safe in Me. Trust Me to Guide and Provide
Haggai 2:8 (NIV) ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.
Beloved, the silver and gold are Mine. Wealth and honor come from Me alone. Cease striving in your flesh and look to Me – the Author and Finisher of your faith – to meet your needs. Don’t seek man’s favor or approval, seek relationship with Me and I will give you favor where I would have you have it. I will open doors that cannot be shut for you to walk through, and close the ones where you should not go so that none can open them.
Trust Me to guide and provide. With joy give, and gratitude receive. Follow My lead. Nothing is to hard for Me. Quiet yourself and listen for My voice to instruct you, “this is the way, walk ye in it.” I will not lead you astray, trust My plans and My purpose. Trust Me. I AM mindful of your needs without you saying a word. I AM a good Father.
1 Chronicles 29:11-12 (TLB) Yours is the mighty power and glory and victory and majesty. Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might, and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength.
The Lord of Breaking Through (Baal-Perazim)
Isaiah 43:19 (VOICE) Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; Waters will flow where there had been none.
Watch beloved, I AM doing something new. I AM bringing forth the supernatural in abundance – doing things you have never seen or imagined. Come along with Me and be part of what I AM doing. No matter the circumstances or situation, I can and will make a way – like water in the desert – I AM Baal-Perazim (Lord of breaking through).
Beloved, the supernatural is about to become natural for you. Expect it. Anticipate it. Welcome it. My ways may cause discomfort, but yield to My flow and you will see it come to pass. Get ready. Get ready. Get ready! Be listening, stay in that place of active waiting – fully expectant, believing and ready – for I will move suddenly. Though the vision tarries, wait for it. It WILL come to pass. It will not tarry.
“So [Israel] came up to Baal-Perazim, and David smote the [Philistines] there. Then David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like the bursting forth of waters; therefore they called the name of that place Baal-Perazim (Lord of breaking through).” 1 Chronicles 14:11
Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV) For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
