Barren No More

I am awakened by the sound of the wind. How I got to the wilderness I don’t know, but I am keenly aware of the ground beneath me. It’s dry and cracked with no life at all. I lift my eyes to look around and all I see is dry, barren, cracked ground. The wind sends the dust from the ground to and fro. I shield my eyes from the bright sun and the dust of this harsh landscape.  Continue reading “Barren No More”

Be Infectious

Romans 6:1-2 (NLV)  What does this mean? Are we to keep on sinning so that God will give us more of His loving-favor? No, not at all! We are dead to sin. How then can we keep on living in sin?

Peer pressure in today’s society is definitely a very sad reality. So often people excuse their choices by using “in today’s day” it’s just different, or they simply abuse God’s grace and mercy… Is that what scripture says to do? Surely not! Continue reading “Be Infectious”

Being a Yielded Vessel of God’s (John 15)

Many years back, a prophet named Richard Knight shared an analogy about operating in the prophetic that was so profound it has stuck with me a decade and a half later. He likened operating in the prophetic to being a postman. It’s our job to deliver the message – that’s it. The postman isn’t responsible for making sure bills are paid. They aren’t on the hook for ensuring RSVPs are sent out. They aren’t even responsible for making sure mail is retrieved from the mailbox. They simply deliver it. Blessing from Obedience

When you yield yourself to be My vessel, it ministers not only to the one you pour out to, but to you as well. So pour out from your overflow with generosity and wisdom. Trust My direction on when to speak and when to be silent. Resist the urge to defend that which I have given you to say, instead allowing My words to stand on their own. For I will not beg for someone to believe Me, nor will I pressure them to take action on My counsel.  Continue reading “Blessing from Obedience”

Stand in Authority

Stand in the authority I have given you. Be obedient and take back which is mine. Beloved, restore that which has been broken. Reclaim that which has been taken. I have given you authority to do my will. I’ve given you authority to bring heaven to earth. I have given you authority to walk out the dreams I have given you and see them fulfilled. Reap which I have sown. Take back which is mine, my children – my lost ones – my broken ones. Bring them back to the fold. Take my love to them beloved. Restore a relationship. Restore life. Repair the broken spirits with my arms of love. Be my hands and feet. Be my hands and feet beloved. Reclaim that which was stolen, that which was taken.

Do onto others as you would have them do unto you. Beloved rejoice! Beloved rejoice!

Reflect Me

John 5:19 (TPT) So Jesus said, “I speak to you timeless truth. The Son is not able to do anything from himself or through my own initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father.

Beloved, I lead by example. I AM long-suffering and rich in mercy. Therefore, you should be long-suffering and rich in mercy. My love is unconditional. Therefore, you should love unconditionally. I AM righteous and holy. Therefore, you should strive to be righteous and holy.

I ask nothing of you that I have not walked out Myself. Therefore, reflect Me with joy and trust Me to guide your path. I will whisper to you “this is the way, walk ye in it,” and you will respond without delay. Hold nothing back, and reflect Me. Continue reading “Reflect Me”

Radical Obedience

2 Timothy 4:2 (TLB) to preach the Word of God urgently at all times, whenever you get the chance, in season and out, when it is convenient and when it is not. Correct and rebuke your people when they need it, encourage them to do right, and all the time be feeding them patiently with God’s Word.

Beloved, resist the urge to be silent simply because it stretches you to speak. Await My nudges and act in obedience when they come. True obedience isn’t reflected when you “feel like” obeying, but rather when you do so without consideration of your feelings in deference to Me.

Trust that I know what you’re capable of. Trust that I know the timing and the words and actions for you to execute, and that I will lead you accordingly. I AM sovereign. Yield to Me.

Walk in Full Confidence

2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (AMP) For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which ascends] to God, [discernible both] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the latter one an aroma from death to death [a fatal, offensive odor], but to the other an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is adequate and sufficiently qualified for these things?

Beloved, resist the urge to be offended when those who don’t know Me taunt and tease you. Remember the fragrance of your life is an offering to Me, it need not appeal to them nor is it likely to.

Your light reminds them that they are in darkness, and no matter how much they may have grown accustomed to the dark, I have placed a desire in each heart for My light. The longing for it can cause a jealous desire they themselves may not even recognize.

So refuse to allow yourself to be influenced by the unkind words of those around you. Instead be firmly rooted in who I say you are and walk in full confidence in your identity as a precious child of Mine.  Continue reading “Walk in Full Confidence”
