There are moments when the psalmist plays, the songbird sings, they move and have their being in the secret place of the Most High God. His anointing fills them with His music and words to impart to His people. One only becomes aware of His awesome presence as it fills the room.
Sing unto Him a song of praise, sing unto Him a song of victory, sing an anthem of your great love for Him, we exalt the Lord. Continue reading “The Anointing of God”
Anyone who has ever floated a river knows that you will inevitably come to an area that seems very still with almost no movement. How can it be that the same river has areas that are fast-moving and then all of a sudden you come to an area of stagnation? In these areas, you will find dark pools, bad smells, more mosquitoes, and snakes because the water isn’t moving. These are the areas where we hear different sounds, feel different temperatures, and have to work harder to keep moving. Continue reading “Gift of Refreshing”
I have been quietly working and spending time with our Lord.
Yesterday, I strolled in our garden as the sunset, and I gave thanks to the Lord for all He is in our lives. I noticed the beautiful light that was cast on our garden and its flowers. The sun bathes our garden every day, but there was a mesmerizing new light that filled my spirit with a new spiritual expectation. It was beautiful!
I heard Him say, “Capture the moment.” And as I looked through the viewfinder I could see much more…
One day, a great King decided to survey all the lands He ruled. People came from near and far and surrounded His company of warriors and all those of His house with joyful crowds of celebration. The King received each welcome graciously, but He never tarried long, because His heart was set on reaching the dark lands—wild, lawless places at the edge of His borders.
Now and again, His enemies would sneak in and erect large labor camps, where they enslaved the vulnerable and weak. The taskmasters were tyrants, without mercy or care, and they starved and beat the people they held captive. Continue reading “Daughter of the King”
In the quietness of the woods
I seek His face most dear
In His presence I can hear
His powerful words become most clear Continue reading “Your Presence”
John 1:16 (NASB) For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.
Refuse to be self-absorbed or empty. Pursue God’s fullness not empty things or people for this fulfillment, and you will never be empty. In order to pour out His true love, a person must be full of God’s love. Receive His fullness, for in God we lack nothing. Pray for loved ones who may be experiencing lack and who are in need of hope and fullness of God’s supernatural love.

Dear beloved,
I want to remind you that sometimes words are not necessary. I know all of your needs and all of your desires. I know that all you desire the most is to always experience My loving presence upon you! Oh, how you love My presence and My voice! Continue reading “I Keep You In My Heart”
If you find yourself feeling squeezed and trampled on, it probably means that God is making grape juice, and He is about to give you a new wineskin that can hold that new wine. However, this is not the time to whine.
If you are feeling pressed and crushed, God is probably pressing out new oil for your lamp. Submit to the process. It’s OK to say “Ouch!” a lot in between the shouts of “Praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus!” Continue reading “Squeezed, Pressed, and Crushed”
I heard the Lord saying:
“Haven’t I called you for greatness? What are you holding on to that is keeping you from being who I called you to be? Let go of the words and actions of others that are not in agreement with the words I have spoken over you! Do not focus on them.
“I Am the author and finisher of your faith. Focus on Me! Keep your eyes on Me! Rest in Me! Know who you are in Me. Focus on what I have spoken over you. I have called you for greater works! Rejoice in Me during this season!”
Selah… Rejoice.
