Butterfly Season

“Heir of Promise” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Are you in your butterfly season? Well, first let’s look at the season of the caterpillar:

Everything goes really slow but steady. It seems like it takes so much effort to get anywhere spiritually. You do a lot of feeding on spiritual things, but they may not make any sense. You may read a lot of spiritual books and the Bible, go to church a lot, go to a lot of fellowship meals, join a lot of groups, try to hook up with God by working really hard. You are full of yourself, but feel great spiritually. You are trying to convince yourself of many things spiritually, but in your quiet times (which you make sure don’t happen much), you don’t feel much different on the inside. Still, you stay so busy you don’t have to go there too much. Continue reading “Butterfly Season”

The Spirit Sanctifies

Wings of the Spirit” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

When you immerse your thoughts in My truth, it sanctifies you and bears witness in your spirit man. There is no difference between anyone in regards to purification through My Spirit because it all comes through the circumcision of faith in Jesus.  It is only the faith and My grace that this process can occur. Be assured that sanctification on your behalf came through believing in the finished work on the cross. This is so that I will sanctify and cleanse you with the washing of the water through My Word. A Prayer in Honor of the Feast of Atonement

“Surrendered Heart” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

We come into Your presence with gratitude, my Lord.

I thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness and Your Faithfulness.

As we come into Your presence with a true heart of repentance, I pray—take away all you see that is unrighteousness and all that is an abomination in Your sight in our thoughts, in the words we utter, and in our behavior and attitude. Continue reading “A Prayer in Honor of the Feast of Atonement”

Fear My Name, I Have Redeemed You

“Fathomless God” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

The Fear of the Lord has many characteristics, promises, variations, and benefits. The awe of giving your reverence, honor, and full attention to the Savior King Jesus is just beautiful. The benefits of surrendering to a Holy God is mind-blowing. There is truly no other God besides Him.

Submit your thoughts and spend time in adoration and fear (awe and wonder) of His name. Listen to Him, and turn your affections to loving and obeying Him. Stand fast by placing your full trust and assurance in Him.

Allow your faith to be strengthened in fearing the name of the Lord —regardless of what you see. Live and walk according to the Spirit in repentance and humility. Fear His Name. Live in One Accord with the mind of Christ, forgiving one another and staying away from all evil. Obey His commandments.

“You are My witnesses I have chosen you. I Am with you. I’m doing a new thing. There is no God beside Me. My blessings are you and your offspring. Take delight in Me as I delight in you. I have called you by My name, and you are mine.

Isaiah 44:6-8 (NKJV) “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’ ”

“I renew and strengthen you with My righteous right hand. When you seek Me, you find Me. When you pray, I listen and answer in My perfect timing. You are named the priests and servants of God. You are a chosen kingdom of royalty.

“My promise is: instead of shame, I will pour double honor. I will replace confusion with the promise of rejoicing in your portion. In your land, you will possess double. I clothe My children with garments of salvation and robes of righteousness. I cause things that are sown to spring forth a spiritual harvest that is fruitful in due season.

Isaiah 61:6-8 (NKJV) But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 43:1 (NKJV) But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

“My people are a crown of glory in My hand, a royal diadem. I rejoice over you, and My rewards are plentiful.”

God delights in us and will be married to our God. He rejoices over us, as we rejoice with him too. His rewards are with him. We are the Redeemed, rescued, people of The Most High God!

Isaiah 62:3-5 (NKJV) You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For-the Lord delights in you, And your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.

Isaiah 59:19-20 (NKJV) So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” says the Lord.

Proverbs 19:23 (NKJV) The Fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.

Proverbs 22:4 (NKJV) By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life.

Psalm 33:8-9 (NKJV) Let all the earth fear the Lord let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him for he spoke, and it was done he commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalms 33:18 (NKJV) Behold, the Eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in his mercy.

He Makes the Darkness Tremble

by Jessica Smith Art

Below is a journal entry I wrote a few years ago after a great victory against demonic attack…

Darkness parts like the Red Sea before the name of Jesus. His name sung in praise is like a sword of piercing light that severs the darkness before us. The power of that name lays flat every principality that stands in our way.

I keep having this same vision of me singing the name of Jesus against the enemy of my soul. I’m standing in the midst of thick demonic darkness. It’s surrounding me, blocking my way, suffocating me, pressing me on every side… trying to destroy me. This darkness is the poison of fear, anxiety, demonic manifestation, spirits of witchcraft, and death. And in this vision, I stand against it with one weapon… the weapon of the name of Jesus.

As I stand there with that darkness surrounding me I sing the name of Jesus. I take my eyes off the enemy, off what he’s doing against my life, off the threats of death, off the scary faces of doom and gloom, and I put my eyes on Jesus, and I sing that name. Then the song “Tremble” comes out, and I sing that song in my own way. “Jesus, Jesus, you make the darkness tremble. Jesus, Jesus, you part the darkened sea. Jesus, Jesus, you make the darkness tremble. Jesus, Jesus, you come and rescue me.”

And as I sing, I see what happens as I sing… I see Jesus fight my battle. I see Jesus standing before me with lightning flashing from His wounded hands. Resurrection power destroying every demon and all the darkness that had been pressing in on me, tormenting me, it begins to tremble and shake until it completely disperses in terror of my God.

What I Open No Man Can Shut

In a dream, I saw Jesus Christ standing as a DOOR between two stone walls set in the clouds of heaven. He wore a robe of many colors. This robe was shining with glory and majesty. His arms were spread from one wall to the other. Then like a door on a hinge, Jesus Christ literally swung open. Then the Holy Spirit spoke these words, “What I open, NO man can shut!”

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the Holy One, the True One, who has the Key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.” (Revelation 3:7)

Jesus says of Himself in John 10:9, “I AM the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

If God opens a Door for you and says YES, who can shut that Door? No one! JESUS is that Door! NO ONE can shut that door. If God gave you a “YES”, take hold of it by faith, run with it and be free.

The Importance of the Shield of Faith

Jessica Smith Art notebook drawing

Ephesians 6:16 “Above all else, taking the Shield of Faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the Wicked One!”

Several years ago, during a time of being beaten down by the devil, I cried out to the LORD in prayer for help. I was drowning in despair. I simply couldn’t win the battles of life. I was stressed, tired, and in anguish. I wanted to die. Then God showed up as He always does.

I had a dream. In the dream, the Holy Spirit came to show me my error. He stood at my right side. His presence was soothing, strengthening, and forever desirable.

Then suddenly Satan also showed up. He took a very close stance just a few yards in front of me and began to shoot me continually with arrows. These sharp darts were piercing through my chest and plunging deep into my soul. The Holy Spirit spoke into my ear, “Do you see?” He drew my attention to the arrows inside of my soul. I understood now why I was in so much pain.

I looked inside of my inner being and saw these “fiery darts.” They were dangerous and causing damage. These sharp arrows pierced through my chest and entered deep inside and immediately began to dissolve into deadly poison until the arrow disappeared.

Any arrow that was not immediately removed dissolved into a poison that began to travel through my entire body, soul, and mind. The poison was making me sick, even unto death… and the arrows never stopped coming. I was being bombarded constantly with more and more arrows from the wicked one.

The Holy Spirit had been gently explaining and showing all this to me, but then He suddenly exclaimed, “Look at the ground in front of you! Look what is at your feet!” I looked down at my feet. There it was… just laying there… my shield of faith.

The Holy Spirit exclaimed loudly, “Pick it up, and take hold of it!” I bent down and took it up and held it in front of my body. The devil did not stop shooting the arrows at me, but now they were hitting my shield of faith and falling to the ground instead of piercing through my chest. No more arrows. No more poison. So now I had to keep my shield up and work on getting the poison of the old arrows out through forgiveness, prayer, and repentance.

God was faithful. He heard my prayer for help, and He came to my rescue. The devil was attacking me viciously, and I did nothing to stop him because I didn’t know how to. God showed me what I was doing wrong and how to change it. The Lord says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Let’s take up our shield of faith and renew our minds.

Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJV) THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD –  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints….

Time is at Hand

Faithful and True by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Listen closely, and know time is at hand. Spend your time on things that are of eternal value. Live in-filled with My Holy Spirit. Stay sober-minded and alert. Remember the time you spend with Me counts for eternity, so be aware of how much time you are giving to Me. Spend your time focusing on the essence of who I am. Stir up your faith by reminding yourself that with Me the impossible is possible.  My timing may be different from time as you perceive it, but choose to trust Me and focus on Me. As you do, you’ll see My hand at work and be reminded I work all things for My glory and for the good of the Kingdom.   Continue reading “Time is at Hand”
