Character (Romans 5:3-5)

This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of three Prophetic Nuggets based on Romans 5:3-5 (VOICE):
And that’s not all. We also celebrate in seasons of suffering because we know that when we suffer we develop endurance, which shapes our characters. When our characters are refined, we learn what it means to hope and anticipate God’s goodness. And hope will never fail to satisfy our deepest need because the Holy Spirit that was given to us has flooded our hearts with God’s love.
Be the Light

Matthew 5:14-16 (AMP) “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
Ephesians 5:8-9 (TPT) Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. Continue reading “Be the Light”

The Weapon of Rest

Beloved, the weapons of war I have given you are mighty and unlike anything of this world. I call you this day to take another look in your arsenal for a weapon that is often overlooked and undervalued—the weapon of rest. Yes, there are times when you need to exercise your faith in an active, forceful manner. However, there are some wars that can only be won through quietness and confidence, the times when I call you to simply rest and trust in My Word. Continue reading “The Weapon of Rest”
Butterfly Season

Are you in your butterfly season? Well, first let’s look at the season of the caterpillar:
Everything goes really slow but steady. It seems like it takes so much effort to get anywhere spiritually. You do a lot of feeding on spiritual things, but they may not make any sense. You may read a lot of spiritual books and the Bible, go to church a lot, go to a lot of fellowship meals, join a lot of groups, try to hook up with God by working really hard. You are full of yourself, but feel great spiritually. You are trying to convince yourself of many things spiritually, but in your quiet times (which you make sure don’t happen much), you don’t feel much different on the inside. Still, you stay so busy you don’t have to go there too much. Continue reading “Butterfly Season”
Thoughts Fixed on Him

I was laying in bed thinking about Jesus—just thinking about Him, wondering about Him, thinking about what He was doing, about His heart, about what He was feeling. I honestly did not consider whether or not He knew my thoughts. I was not praying. Out of my own love, desire, and curiosity I was simply thinking about Him. Continue reading “Thoughts Fixed on Him”
Living Stones (1 Peter 2:4-5, 9)

This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of six Prophetic Nuggets based on 1 Peter 2:4-5, 9 (VOICE):
Come to Him—the living stone—who was rejected by people but accepted by God as chosen and precious. Like living stones, let yourselves be assembled into a spiritual house, a holy order of priests who offer up spiritual sacrifices that will be acceptable to God through Jesus the Anointed. But you are a chosen people, set aside to be a royal order of priests, a holy nation, God’s own; so that you may proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called you out of inky darkness into shimmering light.
