The Presence of My Perfect Love

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts…

Beloved, fear is abolished in the presence of My perfect love. You no longer need to fear punishment, for even though I chasten those I love, I do so in love. If I wound, I heal. And if I break, I bind. And even then beloved, I only do so when it is necessary and I AM with you through it all.

You are cherished and loved. I AM not looking for things to reprimand you for nor seeking reason to punish you. I AM a good Father, and I love My children. Receive that love and be made whole.

Harvest of Love

Psalm 96:7 (VOICE) Give all credit to the Eternal, families of the world! Credit Him with glory, honor, and strength!

Beloved, remember who I AM and see Me rightly. Recognize the works of My hands and honor them as the prized creations that they are. This includes you. This includes all My children. Resist the urge to treat lightly one that I love. Refuse to be tempted to hurt or belittle one that I took time to create.

Just as a broken vessel doesn’t accurately reflect its intended design, so those around you may have similar cracks and seeming defects. And yet I love them. And yet I value them. Will you not choose to see what I see? Instead of judging based on imperfections, ask Me to show you My true design. Catch the vision and align your heart, expectations, and actions with that. As you do that, expect to reap a rich harvest of love.  Continue reading “Harvest of Love”

Key to the Kingdom: Guard Your Mouth

Psalm 141:3 (VOICE) Guard my mouth, O Eternal One; control what I say. Keep a careful watch on every word I speak.

Beloved, a fool can be known by the volume of His words, so be slow to speak and weigh each word knowing you will have to answer for each one. So choose to bless rather than curse, to build up rather than tear down, and to speak life rather than death. Resist the urge to indulge in careless or needless words, for you often may not understand their impact until it is too late.

The mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart, so tend the garden of your heart well. Refuse to allow bitterness, anger, or judgment to take root there. Meditate on that which is good. Choose joy and hope and love. Flow from that place and spread life to all those around you from the wellspring of your heart.

Hold Nothing Back

Matthew 22:37 (TPT) Jesus answered him, “‘Love  the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’

Beloved, hold nothing back. Give Me all your love, devotion, and passion, but also give Me free reign to mold and shape, to refine and prune. Trust Me to do so with love and with purpose, for My heart is to see you bloom into your best self.

I created you and I know your innermost parts. I know the purpose I designed you for and I made you well. You are not “too much.” A fish on land looks foolish and weak, but put him in the water for which he was created and he will flourish.

Trust Me to place you where you belong. Refuse to waste time wishing you were different or trying to be so. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Be you and be you to the fullest.

Mighty Praise

Psalm 149:9 (TPT) Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment-doom decreed against their enemies. This is the glorious honor he gives to all his godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

Beloved, draw strength from the fullness of joy you’ve received having been freed from fear by My infinite love. Allow praise to overflow from your heart of joy, and gratitude for My immeasurable love. No greater weapon can you wield than a heart of praise for Me.

Praise Me for My holiness and praise Me for My mercy. Without a word of criticism, the enemy is slain. Worship Me for My goodness, adore Me for My love – stand in awe and know that simple, singular focus is more mighty than you know.  Continue reading “Mighty Praise”

Ardent Devotion

Numbers 25:11 (TPT) Eternal One:  Phinehas (Eleazar’s son and Priest Aaron’s grandson) has done well. He saved the Israelites. Because he was so zealous on My account, tolerating no compromise, I did not consume the people of Israel with My jealousy.

Beloved, I see your passion for Me. Your unreserved willingness to be obedient. Your steadfast intention to walk in integrity and model it for those around you by intentionally setting the bar high and through your very actions challenging them to step up and be their best self.

I do not take your zeal lightly. And though you’ve acted in quiet humility, I will raise you up and showcase you as one who loves Me with their whole heart. So continue to shine brightly, beloved, and know that I recognize and am moved by your ardent devotion.  Continue reading “Ardent Devotion”

YHVH Shalom (the Lord your Peace)

Mark 4:39 (VOICE) He got up, shouted words into the wind, and commanded the waves. Jesus: That’s enough! Be still! And immediately the wind died down to nothing, the waves stopped.

Beloved, I AM YHVH Shalom, the Lord your peace, the One who calms the storm. I AM the giver of peace and I AM peace itself. Rest in Me.

Beloved, I make no promises that the winds and waves won’t come. Instead I promise I AM with you to calm the waves – whether those be inner or outer – to bring peace. So trust in Me and wait, for I AM good and I AM faithful. Rest in Me.

Key to the Kingdom: Receive Correction

Psalm 141:5 (AMP) Let the righteous [thoughtfully] strike (correct) me—it is a kindness [done to encourage my spiritual maturity]. It is [the choicest anointing] oil on the head; Let my head not refuse [to accept and acknowledge and learn from] it; For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds.

Beloved, I chasten those I love. Those who are humble and wise will receive it without complaint knowing it ultimately is given for their benefit. My sheep know My voice, beloved, so if correction comes without My breath on it or if you simply aren’t sure, ask Me and I will lovingly make My will known. I break down to build up. I wound that I might heal. I will not tear you down and abandon you or leave you hopeless. None who seek me are beyond My reach.

So willingly – even joyously – seek that which will grow and strengthen you. Godly correction not only shifts things into place, but it builds good character, so embrace it without fear or hesitation. It is not an indication that you are hopeless or worthless, but rather that you are loved and you are Mine.

Key to the Kingdom: Reflect Me in Unhindered Glory

Colossians 2:10 (VOICE) You, too, are being completed in Him, the One who has dominion over all rule, all authority.

Beloved, remember the One you serve. I AM sovereign. I AM not some powerless, man-crafted idol. I AM the Creator of heaven and earth, the great I AM, the Commander of the hosts of heaven. Those who see Me tremble in awe. And you are on My side, and guided by My hand – acting on My behalf. This is no light calling. It is a weighty responsibility, but one for which you’ve been prepared.

So shine, beloved. Be you without restraint. Allow the embodiment of all I’ve placed within you to radiate forth as you reflect Me in unhindered glory that those who see you might know Me. Let nothing dim your blaze, for simply to shine uncompromised and unashamed is more fearsome warfare than you can imagine – it is a key to the Kingdom.  Continue reading “Key to the Kingdom: Reflect Me in Unhindered Glory”

Trust Me to Do What is Good

Psalm 89:14 (VOICE) Your rule is rooted deeply in justice and righteousness— unfailing love and truth lead from the way ahead of You.

Beloved, I AM full of love and rich in mercy. I AM truth and fully trustworthy. Rely on Me. I will not be mocked, those that sow shall surely reap. Will I allow one who sows that which is evil to reap that which is good? That would be an injustice.

Trust Me to do what is right. Trust Me to see and know. Trust Me to hear and respond to the cries of My people, for I AM a good God and righteous and just. Trust Me to do what is good.
