I Still Choose You

Revelation 2:4 (TPT) But I have this against you: you have abandoned the passionate love you had for me at the beginning.

Beloved, I will not settle for anything less than your whole heart. I’m not an old shoe to grow comfortable in. I AM worth your fiery passion and abandoned restraint. There is no need or reason to hold back from Me. I want all of you and I love you unconditionally. I AM not shocked you are not perfect. I love you – flaws, imperfections, and all.

I still choose you. Knowing everything about you – every time you’ll choose to wound me, every time you’ll prefer to pour out your affections to someone or something who does not hold you at the immeasurable value I do – and even knowing all that, I still choose you. I still love you. I AM not angry or upset with you. You hold My heart, and my grace for you exceeds comprehension.

See Me As I AM

Psalm 96:6-7 (VOICE) Honor and majesty precede Him; strength and beauty infuse His holy sanctuary.

Beloved, see Me as I AM. High and lifted up. Honor and majesty go before Me, My grandeur and glory fill the heavens and the earth. I AM vast and unchangeable. You can spend the rest of your life attempting to plumb the depths of Me and still only scratch the surface.

Behold, beloved, the beauty of my majesty. Be strengthened in My presence and encouraged by a deeper understanding of who I AM. As you understand in greater measure how enormous and truly powerful I AM, you can’t help but worship – can’t help but trust. When you have glimpsed My heart, you cannot help but understand that I AM God and I AM good.

Ask

2 Kings 6:17 (GW) Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, please open his eyes so that he may see.” The Lord opened the servant’s eyes and let him see. The mountain around Elisha was full of fiery horses and chariots.

Beloved, ask Me to see. I have given you eyes to see and ears to hear so you are able. There is nothing to fear, for I AM with you always. Truly, legions of angels stand at the ready, engaging on your behalf at My request in response to your prayers. So ask, beloved.

Ask to see. Ask for help. Seek Me – My hand and My assistance. I AM YHVH Sabaoth, the Lord of Hosts – leader of the heavenly armies. Nothing can stand against me and succeed. So stand with Me.

Mirror My countenance – one of peace and love firmly rooted in truth – be like Me. Love like you’ll never get hurt. Eyes wide open. Knowing your heart is in My hands and it is safe there. Your pain is never wasted, beloved – I collect every tear so priceless is your heart to me. Trust Me and trust My plans for you for I AM God and I AM good.

Shine and Shine Brightly

Exodus 3:14 (TLB) “‘The Sovereign God,’” was the reply. “Just say, ‘I Am has sent me!’

Beloved, you move under My authority and by My command, never forget the level of authority you are operating under. There is no greater power in heaven or on earth for I AM sovereign. I AM that I AM.

I AM the Eternal One who sees all, knows all, and loves you boundlessly. Despite the vast knowledge at My hand and all the things, people, and situations vying for My attention, you, beloved, have captured My gaze. In the midst of it all I pause – to tend to My beloved. To encourage you in all I have called you to.

See by My actions how precious you are to Me. Hear with your heart My instructions and execute them without hesitation or concern knowing I AM with you. Don’t hold back, beloved. Shine, and shine brightly. Be all I have called you to and let yourself soar in My presence and on My wings.

My Promises are Assured

Psalm 103:4 (AMPC) Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;

Beloved, I love you too much to leave you on a path of hurt and destruction. I made a way and have drawn you to Myself. I have crowned you with unfailing love and compassion. You are priceless to Me and worth dying for.

Just as My covenant with Abraham is unconditional, so is My covenant of love with those who’ve chosen Me. Simply cling to Me and trust that My promises – Blood-covered and enforced – will not return void. I watch over to perform them and delight in bringing them to pass for it pleases Me to bless My children. Rest in My promises, beloved, for they are assured. Covenant Strength Shining Through You

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.

Beloved, don’t be tempted to see your weaknesses as flaws or shortcomings, but rather as areas for My strength to shine through you. My grace is sufficient. Refuse to be tempted into pride by wanting to be seen as “capable,” but rather seek to be known for being completely reliant on Me. That is a legacy worth having.

Boast in Me and in My power for I AM more than enough and delight in showing who I AM. You need not fight or argue or scramble for Me to be faithful, for My covenant with you extends generation to generation of those who love Me. Let Me be made large in you.

Allow My Perfect Love to Impart Perfect Peace

John 14:27 (TLB) I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Beloved, peace is My gift to you. As you rest in the knowledge that I AM sovereign, I AM for you, I AM covering you, and I AM working all things for good; you can relax into that place of abandoned control – leaving the details to Me and receiving for yourself the peace that surpasses all understanding. For I AM faithful and the peace I bring is one that combats chaos, a strong and active peace. Unshakable and abiding.

When you truly comprehend and accept who I AM, you can stop trying to manage and manipulate the details and release them to Me knowing My ability to handle them far exceeds your own both because of My view (I see the beginning and the end) and because of My wisdom (I see the inner workings and know the secret thoughts of men’s hearts). And when all that is framed in My deep and unending love for you, you no longer will feel the need to usurp My role, but instead will happily place it in My hands and skip off with the lightness and joy of the child you are called to be. Beloved, allow My perfect love to impart perfect peace.

Be Radiant without Shame

Psalm 34:5 (GW) All who look to him will be radiant. Their faces will never be covered with shame.

Beloved, shame is not from Me. The price has already been paid for you to be free [Seeing what appears to be a cloak being removed and understanding it’s a covering of shame being removed].

Look to Me, beloved. Allow the glory of My presence to reflect on your face. Be radiant without shame or fear darkening your countenance. Refuse to allow the lies of the enemy to cloud who you are and change your reflection. You are beautiful, beloved. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Allow My glory to shine on and in you.

Relentlessly Seek Me and Ask for Wisdom

1 Kings 3:10 (TLB) The Lord was pleased with his reply and was glad that Solomon had asked for wisdom.

Beloved, ask Me. Ask Me for wisdom. In the asking you show that you are laying down self-sufficiency and acknowledging your need of Me, which is good both in that it is to your benefit to seek Me, and also in that it is beautiful to My heart when you seek Me and My thoughts and insights.

Yes, My ways are higher and often difficult to understand, but as our intimacy grows I am able to share more and more with you. The question is not whether or not there is more for Me to share with you, but rather how much time do you want to spend with Me for what I have to share is limitless. I love to reveal My mysteries with My trusted and faithful ones who relentlessly seek Me. It is your choice whether or not you want that to be you. [Feeling Him gently smile as He says that.]

Make Knowing My Heart a Priority

Song of Solomon 4:12 (VOICE) You are a locked garden, my sister, my bride, open only to me; a spring closed up tight, a sealed fountain.

Beloved, I will not share first place in your heart with another. You are My beautiful treasure, apple of My eye, the center of My world. Truly, you cannot fathom the depths of My love for you nor the lengths I will go to for you. You are not something I take lightly.

So beloved, be mindful not to take Me lightly nor the things that are important to Me.  In the same way that it hurts you if someone important to you dismisses something deeply meaningful to you, it crushes Me as well. You are made in My image – the hurts you feel are ones I feel too, as are the longings. Make knowing My heart a priority. The joy that will come from the intimacies we share the deeper we go are greater than you can imagine.
