I AM the Waymaker

Isaiah 43:16 (TLB) I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a path right through the sea.

Beloved, I AM the Waymaker. You need not be concerned as to how or why, just know I AM. In times of trouble, look to Me. As you do – as your faith and trust in Me is made evident in your actions and your praise – I AM lifted up. Like a standard of victory before a contending army, I AM YHVH Nissi. I AM the Lord your banner. Who can stand against Me?

I AM the Lord of the breakthrough and the restorer of your souls. I jealously guard you and love you beyond your wildest imaginings. I AM good. Refuse to be discouraged. Refuse to be impressed with the attacks that the enemy launches, refuse him the praise of acknowledgment and fix your eyes on Me, the author and finisher of your faith. Find Your Life in Me

John 15:4 (TLB) Take care to live in me, and let me live in you. For a branch can’t produce fruit when severed from the vine. Nor can you be fruitful apart from me.

Beloved, I AM the life-giving force. Press into Me and passionately pursue My presence. In Me you find life more abundantly, contentment and peace, and refreshing for your soul. My Spirit is water in a dry and weary land, and My word is the bread of life. Hunger and thirst and be satisfied. Find your life in Me.

Be transformed by the power of My presence. From glory unto glory allow My Spirit to shine in and through you. May My glory reflect in your countenance as it did on Moses’ face. Walk unveiled and unashamed, a living testament to your life-giving, life-changing God.

I AM YHVH Shalom

Exodus 33:14 (TLV) “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest,” He answered.

Beloved, you need not carry the weight of the world, not allow stresses and worries to consume you. I AM YHVH Shalom, the Lord your peace. In Me you will find rest.

Unconditional Trust

Matthew 26:39 (TPT) Then he walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill your plan for me.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen him.

Beloved, refuse to try to contain Me or to put conditions on your trust in Me. I see what you do not and am weaving a greater picture together than the piece you are in. And yet your piece is precious to Me – each of My children are so important to Me – so know that I AM working all things together for good.

As you trust Me unconditionally, I will strengthen you. I will minister to you even with My angels for I AM keenly aware of your thoughts and needs. Put your faith in Me and leave it there. Trust without Expectations

Daniel 3:17-18 (NIV) If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. ”

Beloved, trust in Me and leave the outcome in My hands. Be expectant in Me without having expectations for specific results. For My ways are not your ways nor are My thoughts your thoughts, so My course of action may not make sense to you, but trust Me enough to know that even if you don’t “get” it and even if it isn’t what you thought or hoped for I AM always good.

Expect Me to be good without trying to mandate what that looks like. I AM the Righteous One, the Faithful God, trust Me to know what is best. Keep your heart in a place of gratitude and praise and be steadfast in it. Refuse to let circumstances shake or confuse you, and simply rest in Me. Continue reading “Trust without Expectations”

I Belong to You (Moments with God)

{He whispers to my heart} I belong to you.

{He pauses, waiting for that to penetrate. As I sit trying to really “get” it, He repeats Himself} I belong to you.

{Immediately the verse in Song of Solomon (which I have in Hebrew on my ring) comes to mind} “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” Such a seemingly basic message and yet after decades of following Him, still I struggle to know. Still I struggle to feel worthy. But He reminds me His love has nothing to do with whether or not I am worthy, it has to do with the fact that He chose me anyway – regardless of my human failings and imperfections – He chose me. Be Led By My Spirit

1 Corinthians 14:33 (VOICE) …God is the author of order, not confusion…

Beloved, I AM not the author of chaos, nor do I incite discord. I do not work contrary to My goal or My word. As My children yield to My flow, they find themselves working in concert, creating a harmony that glorifies and honors their King. As you each align with your roles within the flow, beauty and life pour forth.

Trust each to be led by My Spirit (and for Me to bring correction if they’re not). Trust the authority I have put in place to be a catalyst for unity and to lead and guide rightly (and pray for them to walk in the fullness of that call). Put your focus on aligning yourself with My purpose for you, and refuse to be distracted by whether or not others are doing likewise.

In the end, remember I AM sovereign. Regardless of human shortcomings, I delight to move in and through it all. Yield to Me, focus on Me, and usher in My Kingdom here on earth. Continue reading “Be Led By My Spirit”

Trust That I AM Bigger

John 15:14 (MSG) You are my friends when you do the things I command you.

Beloved, be obedient to My voice. Regardless of your maturity or lack thereof, I can work with whatever you’ll give Me as you yield to My direction and follow My flow to the best of your ability trusting Me to make up the difference.

There will be times you don’t understand, and times you think I have “missed it” because you mistakenly thought you knew where I was headed – all that is fine and even expected – but refuse to allow it to harden your heart towards Me.

Trust Me to lead. Trust that you don’t need all the details to successfully execute My plans for you. Simply be open to the next step, and the next – on and on until suddenly you realize you know Me better than you thought because you’ve yielded and watched Me move, seen Me follow through, seen Me be faithful, and even seen Me have surprising and unexpected solutions.

Trust that I AM bigger than your failings, bigger than any human shortsightedness or insecurities, imperfections, or presumptions. I AM enough, rest in Me.

I AM All You Need

Matthew 6:24 (MSG) You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.

Beloved, choose Me. Throughout history, My heartcry remains the same: that I would be your God and you would be My people. Refuse to give place to any idol, or to hold anything in greater reverence than Me. I will not be content to share your adoration, for I AM worthy of your singleminded devotion.

Only I bring true peace. Only I bring true contentment. Only I bring true security. Refuse the temptation to look to your own provision to offer those things remembering that even your provision comes from Me. It cannot love you nor fulfill your heart’s desires anymore than the idols made of wood and clay. Only I AM able to bring true fulfillment. Look to Me and refuse to look away. I AM all you need.

Palet, Your Deliverer

Psalm 32:7 (AMP) You are my hiding place; You, Lord, protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah.

Beloved, there is no situation so severe I cannot rescue you. I AM Palet, the Deliverer – your very present help in times of trouble. I walk with you through the storm, and I comfort you with My presence.

Look to Me. Regardless of the turmoil surrounding you, I AM your peace, your hiding place – the One who never leaves you or forsakes you. Rest in Me. Listen for the songs I sing over you, and set your mind on Me. Trust yourself in My hands, for I AM good.
