Steadfast in Vigilance

1 Peter 5:8 (AMPC) Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

Beloved, this is not a time to slumber or be distracted. The hour is late. This is a time for sobriety and vigilance. Be awake and alert. The King is coming. Make ready and remain watchful, for you do not know the hour, but will not want to be caught unaware.

Resist the urge to become complacent or lackadaisical. In doing so you become vulnerable to attacks intended to derail you from My purposes. Instead, remain steadfast in vigilance and prepare for the King to come, for I AM coming.

Look Ahead

Revelation 21:4 (AMPC) God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.

Beloved, resist the urge to get swept up in the cares and pains of this world. Remember that your time on earth is like the blink of an eye, while My Kingdom is everlasting. Sorrow may last for a night, but remember to embrace the joy of the new day – for it always comes.

The griefs and trials of today will pass, so be intentional to look ahead and align with eternity. Grieve, but don’t be overcome with grief. Trust My heart. Trust My plan. Let Faith Arise

Colossians 1:5 (TPT) Your faith and love rise within you as you access all the treasures of your inheritance stored up in the heavenly realm. For the revelation of the true gospel is as real today as the day you first heard of our glorious hope, now that you have believed in the truth of the gospel.

Beloved, let your faith and hope arise. Stir it up. Remind yourself of the blessings and truth you’ve been given, – the richness of your inheritance in Me. So stir it up. Let faith arise. 

Encourage yourself in Me – in My Word and in My promises. You know truth and My sheep know My voice, you know that as you yield to Me, I position you rightly. So fervently hope in Me, for it will not be in vain.

Unquenchable Passion

Song of Solomon 8:7 (VOICE) No amount of water can quench love; a raging flood cannot drown it out…

Beloved, burn with a passion that refuses to be quenched. No trial or perceived lack can cause you to doubt the intensity of your feelings for Me. The actions of others cannot shift your gaze, but rather your wholehearted love is steadfast and sure. 

Be ardent, beloved. Singleminded and unwavering in your affection. Then allow your actions to flow from this foundation of love, for when you love Me to a point of near obsession, you cannot hate or resent My creation. Mirroring My heart of grace and compassion becomes easier because your heart is fixed on Me. 

In the same way, your work will flow from a heart of love rather than obligation. You’ll know you have no need to earn My affection because it is already most assuredly yours. Then the joy of partnering with Me truly is a joy and not a burden. So flow from a place of love and burn with unquenchable passion for Me. Continue reading “Unquenchable Passion”

Be in Place

Isaiah 34:16 (VOICE) You can look for it and read all about it in the book of the Eternal One. None of these creatures will be missing and none will lack a mate Because His voice has given the order and His Spirit has gathered them in that place.

Beloved, I AM gathering My children to Myself. Calling you in from the east and the west, the north and the south – bringing you closer still to Me. Come, beloved. Pay heed to the call. Be mindful of the times and the seasons, for My children know – yes they know, as the time draws near. 

My Spirit is leading – will you not listen? Refuse to be caught lacking – like the foolish virgins without enough oil (Matthew 25), or out of place – like the wedding guests who refused to come (Matthew 22). Rather be perfectly aligned with Me. My sheep know My voice – YOU know My voice – follow it, beloved, and be in place.

YHVH El-Ashiyb (the Lord God Restorer)

Leviticus 25:10 (VOICE) When the 50th year arrives, sanctify it and declare liberty throughout the land for all who live there— dramatic, radical liberty for all. It is to be your jubilee year. Each of you is allowed to go back to the land that belonged to your ancestors; and each of you may return to your own family.

Beloved, there is dramatic, radical liberty available to all in Me. Refuse to settle for anything less. I AM YHVH El-Ashiyb – the Lord God Restorer, and I do nothing halfway. Look to Me for complete deliverance, for I AM able. 

Behold, I AM realigning things as they are supposed to be. Stand at the ready and be expectant, turn your face to Me, for I AM the God of the impossible because nothing is impossible for Me.

YHVH Rapha (the Lord your Healer)

Exodus 15:26 (VOICE) Eternal One:  If you will listen closely to My voice— the voice of your God—and do what is right in My eyes, pay attention to My instructions, and keep all of My laws; then I will not bring on you any of the plagues that I did on the Egyptians, for I am the Eternal, your Healer.

Beloved, I AM the Lord your healer – YHVH Rapha. Look to Me. Even as you walk in righteousness, keep your gaze fixed on Me – the One who created you and knows your form. Look to Me first. Look to Me. 

For I AM high and lifted up – exalted above the heavens, and more than able to do far above that which you can ask or think. So look to Me and know I AM God.

More Like Me

Romans 12:2 (TPT) …be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Beloved, surrender your thoughts to Mine. Trust My perspective and trust Me to bring truth, for I AM truth. Allow My Holy Spirit to align your thoughts to Mine – make My views and beliefs your own, for Mine are rooted in truth. For I see and I understand. 

Resist the urge to allow your personal experiences to cloud your understanding of truth. Often the words and actions of those around you reflect a perspective based in falsehood. Simply because it is reflected does not make it true. 

So look to Me to bring truth and clarity, and then believe what I tell you. When I say you are beautiful and loved and precious, those things are fact regardless of whether others have reflected those truths to you accurately. So fix your gaze on Me, and allow Me to transform your mind by helping you be more like Me.  Continue reading “More Like Me”

Find the Truth in My Gaze

Proverbs 16:6 (TPT) You can avoid evil through surrendered worship and the fear of God, for the power of his faithful love removes sin’s guilt and grip over you.

Beloved, not only is your praise a mighty weapon, but it is a fearsome shield as well. It keeps your attentions focused on that which is good and true, and protects you from the enemy’s diversions. A besotted bride is not tempted by another, for her gaze is too well-fixed on the one she holds so dear. 

And, as this bride rests in the adoration of her beloved, she is not thinking of all the ways she’s missed the mark or all her personal shortcomings, for her reality is painted by his perception – that of his pure and spotless bride. In the same way, beloved, find your truth in My gaze.

Hold On – I AM is Coming

Revelation 1:8 (AMP)  “I am the Alpha and the Omega [the Beginning and the End],” says the Lord God, “Who is [existing forever] and Who was [continually existing in the past] and Who is to come, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all].”

Beloved, be expectant. I AM coming. Yes, you see darkness all around you, but I have placed in you My light for all to see. So shine and shine brightly. Be a beacon reminding all of the joyous promise of My coming. 

Do not despair for the world around you, rather focus on bringing truth and shining brightly into every corner that all may see and know: hold on – I AM is coming.
