Psalm 45:3 (NASB) Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Mighty One, In Your splendor and Your majesty!
Beloved, stand ready. Be prepared to fight at My command. You do not war against flesh and blood, but against supernatural powers that would move against you and against My Kingdom. But do not be afraid, for I have overcome the wicked one.
Beloved, none can stand against Me. As My children stand with Me, they are aligned and prepared for victory. For I AM the victorious One. So stand. Resist the devil and all his efforts to move you. Stand in faith – unwavering. Stand with Me.Continue reading “Stand Ready”
Song of Songs 4:1 (TPT) Listen, my dearest darling, you are so beautiful—you are beauty itself to me! Your eyes glisten with love, like gentle doves behind your veil. What devotion I see each time I gaze upon you. You are like a sacrifice ready to be offered.
My Bride, as much as possible, choose to see yourself the way that I see you. Let the words you speak and think towards yourself align with what I would say and think of you. I am not ashamed, disgusted, or displeased with you. You are My precious creation, in whom I find much delight.Continue reading “The Beauty in You”
Ephesians 3:12 (AMP) in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].
Beloved, refuse to cower. I love My children and welcome them in My presence. There is no reason to cower or hesitate when you know who you are in Me. So refuse to allow guilt, fear, shame, the opinions of men, or any other force to convince you that you are unworthy. For those thoughts do not align with Mine.
Instead, may the truth of your identity find its foundation in My thoughts of you. May your truth align firmly with My Word. And may you walk in boldness rooted in Me. You are the child of the King, so refuse to cower, beloved, and walk in the boldness of your true identity. Continue reading “Refuse to Cower”
Ephesians 5:10 (AMP) trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him–your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].
Beloved, one who is moved with true gratitude acts accordingly. Gratitude shifts your heart. It demands action. It moves you. One who gives lip service to thanksgiving but who’s actions and heart remain the same is not truly grateful.
So check your heart, beloved. If you are truly moved with gratitude by My salvation and My love, how has it changed you and how are you reflecting that change to Me?
Let your gratitude overflow in a life spent giving glory and honor to Me. Knowing how to please Me is no great mystery, for I’ve made My heart plain in My Word. So know Me and know My heart, and offer up thanksgiving in a life filled with obedience and praise from a joyful, grateful heart. Continue reading “Be Moved by Gratitude”
Luke 10:41-42 (TPT) The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”
My Bride, do not be troubled by the cares of this world. And resist the urge to fret over the actions (or inaction) of your brethren. For I am calling all to arise, trim wicks, and burn brightly with My love. If you expend your energy immersed in worry and fear, your time will be spent striving and accomplishing little. And if you are primarily concerned with judging the behavior of others, you risk falling asleep and becoming lax in your own spiritual growth. I desire that you would simply rest in Me and flourish. Abide in Me, and bear the fruit of My Spirit for all to see. Continue reading “Respond to My Call”
Colossians 2:7 (VOICE) Let your roots grow down deeply in Him, and let Him build you up on a firm foundation. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always spill over with thankfulness.
Beloved, be firmly rooted in a foundation of faith overflowing with gratitude. For your faith will serve you well when the attacks of the enemy inevitably come, but the tenacity of your faith will stand fast when tested when you are rooted and grounded in Me and the joy of your salvation.
As your faith remains steadfast and your gratitude unfailing, nothing and no one can shift your gaze from Me. Gratitude protects your heart from bitterness and sorrow just as faith protects your mind from fear and unbelief. So stand fast, beloved, and let your deep roots hold as the winds of trial come – you will see that you cannot be shaken.
Ephesians 6:16 (VOICE) Don’t forget to raise the shield of faith above all else, so you will be able to extinguish flaming spears hurled at you from the wicked one.
Ephesians 5:26 (VOICE) …He gave Himself up completely to make her His own, washing her clean of all her impurity with water and the powerful presence of His word.
Beloved, allow My Word to wash over you. Take the time to soak in it. Meditate and saturate. Be washed clean, refreshed, and renewed. Allow it to hydrate and soften you, let it remove and restructure areas that are dry and brittle.
And in the same way water refuses to be held back – managing to find cracks and crevices, and then over time changing the shape of even the hardest surfaces, yield to the life-changing flow and be transformed.
Ephesians 5:13 (TPT) Whatever the revelation-light exposes, it will also correct, and everything that reveals truth is light to the soul.
Beloved, My correcting light is a blessing worth embracing. I chasten those I love, so to reject My chastening is to reject My life-altering love. Embrace Me. Embrace My love. Welcome My correction without fear or shame. You have no need to defend yourself because you are not under attack. I understand your every heart motivation long before you do, and My grace is sufficient for you.
The wise embrace truth and see it as My wisdom, while the foolish reject it and seek to believe falsehoods and perversions. Refuse to allow pride to keep you from the benefit of wisdom, or for fear to create barriers from receiving My love. No one is beyond redemption. No one is incapable of change when empowered by My Spirit. Embrace My loving correction and allow the light of Truth to have its way. Yield to the shaping of the Potter’s hands, and become the glorious vessel you’ve been created to be.
Exodus 31:3 (VOICE) I have filled him with God’s Spirit, gifted him with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skills with a variety of crafts.
Beloved, I have gifted you with ideas and insights that supersede natural ability. Walk in the fullness of what you have been given. Trust My Spirit of Wisdom to be upon you that you might know things you did not know and be gifted in ways you did not expect.
Expect the unexpected from Me, beloved, for I delight to see My Spirit at work in you. I will grant you a way of seeing things that is unique and I do so for My purpose. Magnify Me, beloved, with your words, actions, and deeds. What you do, do in excellence to honor Me.
Whatever craft I have laid your hands to, do it for my glory. Flow in My Spirit of Wisdom. Know the ideas that come from Me when they arrive, and execute them for My glory. Continue reading “Spirit of Wisdom”
Ephesians 4:3 (VOICE) Make every effort to preserve the unity the Spirit has already created, with peace binding you together.
Beloved, flow in unity. Be intentional to choose unity, even when that means sacrificing your pride or your plans. Yield to My heart and My plans. Love your fellow believers and extend much grace to them, just as much grace has been extended to you.
For you to flow in harmony as one, you must walk in love. Resist the urge to judge. Trust My Spirit to guide and correct each of you. Bring your concerns to Me, and then leave them in My capable hands as you embrace your siblings in Christ with sincere, unfettered love.
