Deep Love

I love you so much My child. So much more than you can wrap your head around. My love is so different than earthly love that you know of. My love is not based on appearance; how you look, what size you are, what clothes you wear, if you wear the latest fashion or not, if you wear makeup or not. My love is not based on how many titles, or degrees you have by your name; education is good, but not required for Me to love you.  Continue reading “Deep Love”

What if I Told You

What if I told You
What if I told you that you were born to be royal? What if I told you that your Father is King?
Would you believe me? Would you dare to care or would you dare to fling
Your inheritance far from where you stand, hoping for solid ground but finding only sand?
What if I told you that you were born with a purpose greater than you know?
Would you believe me? Would you dare to care or would you just go
Your own way doing your own thing? All the while forgetting your Father is King?
What if I told you that your life has a destiny to be fulfilled?
Would you believe me? Would you dare to care or would you
Fill your life with worthless things? All the while forgetting your Father is King?
What if I told you that you were unconditionally loved?
Would you believe me? Would you dare to care or would you just go
Shove your Father’s love aside? All the while forgetting that He died?
What if I told you that He rose from the grave just for you?
Would you believe me? Would you dare to care or would you just go
Ignore the cross? All the while feeling unloved and lost.
What if I told you were born to be royal, that your Father is King
Would you believe me?

Walk in Confidence

Psalm 24:10 (TPT) You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” He is the Lord of Victory, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, the invincible commander of heaven’s hosts! Yes, he is the King of Glory! Pause in his presence

Beloved, pause in My presence and seek Me. Ask Me who I AM, and let Me reveal My heart for you and for all My children. Nothing is more powerful than a person who understands who they are and what they were created to be. And beloved, you were created to be loved by Me.

So wait on Me. Search Me as the most precious of gifts. Trust Me to reveal Myself to you. Ask Me for wisdom and I will joyously grant it to you. I have so much to share. Let Me show you who you are by teaching you who I AM. Walk in the confidence of one who is loved by Me.  Continue reading “Walk in Confidence”

No More Shame

“Who am I O Lord that you would be mindful of me?
You say Your love for me is true, but I just can’t see how that can be.
I know the shameful things I’ve done.
Horrible things that cost You You’re one and only son.
I hang my head in shame.
Trying to tune out Your voice as you call my name.
I can’t look at you. I can’t let you see
All the ugly that is inside of me.” Continue reading “No More Shame”

Refuse to Believe the Lies

John 10:27 (AMP) The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.

Beloved, refuse to believe the lies that the enemy throws your way. You are Mine, and those who are Mine know My voice and they will not follow another’s. So pause as you listen, and  recognize who is speaking that you might rightly determine which words are of value and to which you should pay no heed.

For the enemy of your soul will always toss “thought bombs” at you like grenades. Their intention is to maim and destroy. Refuse to give them power by simply rejecting them as you identify their origin. Toss them out, beloved. Take every thought captive and make it submit to My truth.

Beloved, you know Me. You know My heart towards you is good. Refuse to believe anything less. Refuse to settle for anything less. Know that you are precious, prized, the apple of My eye – My heart’s desire. Know the truth of your identity as you rest in the cocoon of My love. Continue reading “Refuse to Believe the Lies”

My Masterpiece

I awake in the middle of the night to the sound of my Father’s pottery wheel.  I leave my bed and follow the sound to His workshop.  The smell of water and clay is a sweet aroma.  I see Him at the wheel praying over a piece of clay.  I walk over and watch His hands.  His hands are large and covered in clay and water.  He looks at me and smiles.  I ask Him what He is doing and He says, “Making a masterpiece.”  I watch as His hands work the clay and I begin to witness the making of a masterpiece.  He slowly forms the clay from the bottom up, never rushing.  With great care the vessel starts to form.  I watch as He removes pieces that will hinder the use of the vessel.  He begins to sing over the clay, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  You will be my masterpiece.”  Before I know it, I’m singing with Him.  As we sing, the vessel takes a beautiful shape and He delights in my excitement at the work of His hands.   Continue reading “My Masterpiece”

Child of God

I have been dwelling on identity lately and what that looks like as a child of God. I have been contemplating the passage about Mary sitting at Jesus feet listening to Him and receiving Him. It is a reminder that a Christ like life isn’t always about pouring out. It’s about sitting at His feet, being wrapped in His comfort, in His care. Receiving His tender mercies as a healing balm. Resting in His presence after a hard fought battle that doesn’t always look victorious. Dwelling in His love and knowing He cares no matter what the circumstances look like. Sitting in His truth and being overwhelmed by it, allowing it to wash away all the mud and dross. Being filled up, ready to dance again.  Continue reading “Child of God”

Refuse to Cower

Ephesians 3:12 (AMP) in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].

Beloved, refuse to cower. I love My children and welcome them in My presence. There is no reason to cower or hesitate when you know who you are in Me. So refuse to allow guilt, fear, shame, the opinions of men, or any other force to convince you that you are unworthy. For those thoughts do not align with Mine.

Instead, may the truth of your identity find its foundation in My thoughts of you. May your truth align firmly with My Word. And may you walk in boldness rooted in Me. You are the child of the King, so refuse to cower, beloved, and walk in the boldness of your true identity. Continue reading “Refuse to Cower”

More than a Servant (Moments with God)

{my heart cries} Holy! Holy! Holy! I stand in awe of You – of Your faithfulness and how You move. I am undone in Your presence. I lift my praise to You – the One who is worthy, the One upon the throne – exalted and majestic. You are so good. I am blessed and honored to serve You.

{He responds with a touch to my head and a gentle smile. Receiving my adoration with joy, but also as His due. And He reminds me} You’re more than simply a servant, beloved. As we labor together resist the urge to feel more a handmaiden than a bride. ‘Less of you and more of Me’ isn’t a devaluing of who you are, but rather a broadening of the space within you that is surrendered to Me. It’s you making more room for Me to move in and through you.

{overcome by love I respond} Thank You for loving me. Thank You for deciding I’m worthy whether I see it or not, whether I get it or not, and whether I embrace it or not. You are beyond good, Papa. Be glorified in me.

Psalm 2:11 (AMP) Worship the Lord  and serve Him with reverence [with awe-inspired fear and submissive wonder]; Rejoice [yet do so] with trembling.
