Walk in the Fullness of Freedom

2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Beloved, refuse to remain in bondage in any area. Allow nothing to have undue hold over you and the ability to influence you beyond what it wise and good. Ask Me for wisdom to find every toehold so that each and every one can be eradicated.

The price for your freedom has already been paid. Choose to walk in the fullness of that liberty so you might be all I’ve created and called you to be. Refuse to settle. Refuse to be content with mostly free and be complacent about walking out the rest of your freedom. The cost has been paid, and beloved, it is worth the effort.

Pour Out

Psalm 29:2 (NLT) Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

Beloved, be holy as I AM holy. Knowing that you can fully rely on me to be set apart, unique in My divine perfection, allows you the freedom to fully rest in who I AM because it is perfect and unchanging. That is beautiful and worthy of celebrating, worthy of worship. So pour it out.

Bask in the splendor of My glow, the radiance of My glory. Give honor unto My name. Pour your heart out before Me as a pleasing offering, a sweet aroma before My throne, a living sacrifice. Make this your life’s ambition, to worship at My feet, to lavish love upon Me, to waste your life on Me. I will receive you. You are Mine. Continue reading “Pour Out”

Character Building

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) Love is not… quick to take offense…

Beloved, I AM slow to anger and rich in mercy, my grace knows no bounds; and you were crafted in My image. Refuse to allow your flesh to mandate your responses. Refuse to indulge pride or self-righteousness. Instead be steadfast in humility, grace, and compassion, allowing the fruit of My Spirit to be manifest in your walk as you submit your character to the fiery trials of testing.

Remember, beloved, My Spirit is at work in each of you. It isn’t your job to ensure someone learns a particular lesson, that role is Mine. Leave it to Me, knowing if I desire your assistance, it will never be when you’re operating in the flesh, so persist in dying to it daily that the beauty of Me in you might shine brighter day after day. Receiving the Gift

Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.

Beloved, My Son was born that He might die – graciously sacrificing Himself on your behalf, His love poured out for you – a selfless and perfect offering made on your behalf. The cost was high. Yet we choose it willingly because that is the depth of the love of God.

Refuse to waste the gift you’ve been given. Walk in the freedom that came at so dear a price. Cling to the Blood-bought healing for your body, mind, soul, and spirit. The price has been paid, there’s no need to try to pay again out of a mistaken sense of guilt or shame. Don’t belittle the sacrifice given out of love on your behalf. Receive the fullness of the gift. Continue reading “Receiving the Gift”

Joyful Expectations

Philippians 1:4 (NLT) Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,

Beloved, be not influenced by the ebb and flow of the circumstances around you, but rather stay firmly rooted in Me and the joy found in My presence. With hope-filled persistence, bring your petitions to Me, trusting Me to hear and respond in My great wisdom (which may or may not align with your request).

I AM always good. I always hear you. Refuse to be discouraged or to allow bitterness to take root. Remain in joyful expectation, trusting fully in Me. Allow your steadfast trust to set the spiritual climate surrounding you, shifting others into that space rather than allow people or circumstances to pull you from it. Stay faithful and persistent, and wait on Me.

Be Sensitive

Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP) But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is…gentleness…

Beloved, there are moments to be bold, but there are also moments to be gentle. Allow My Spirit to show you the difference. Keep your flesh in check in the moments it wants to reign free, but I’m calling you to keep it in check – remember that you rule it, not vice versa. Allow Me to lead and trust Me as I do.

In the same way My voice both thunders and is still and small, so must you be sensitive to what the moment calls for. There are some to whom a raised voice will always equal violence, and in the same way, some view gentleness as a license to walk all over you. Trust Me to know the difference and allow My Spirit to bring forth My fruit in your character as you stay yielded to My flow. Continue reading “Be Sensitive”

Stay Teachable

Proverbs 19:20 (VOICE) Heed counsel, act on instruction, and you will become wise later in life.

Beloved, stay teachable. Keep your heart in a position to receive. Recognize My voice regardless of the vessel I use to speak to you. Refuse to allow pride or arrogance to keep you from receiving from Me. You know I love to use the foolish things to confound the wise, so stay open. My sheep know My voice.

When given wise counsel, show wisdom by implementing it. It is not enough to simply hear and receive, beloved, you must respond and take action. From a place of both humility and confidence, move in the way I have counseled you. I will not steer you wrong, nor allow you to fall when you are seeking to obey Me in earnest. Rest in Me and respond.

Respect Everyone as You Respect Me

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love does not… disrespect…

Beloved, give respect at all times in deference to Me. It honors Me when you treat the lowly, crass, or undeserving with respect. It calls to the hope I’ve placed within them, helping show them who they truly are. Each person is important to Me, by treating them with respect – deserved or not – it acknowledges that truth, which has a more powerful impact than you could imagine.

When you are disrespectful it speaks to the nature of your character, not the one you’re addressing. So see with My eyes and operate with My heart – call to their higher sense of right, regardless of circumstance or their response to you. Respect everyone as you respect Me. Make Me Your Top Priority

Psalm 37:4 (TPT) Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

Beloved, make Me your top priority – not as a chore or something to check off your to-do list, but truly find joy and life in your relationship with Me. Let it be authentic. Share your deepest thoughts and hopes, confess your deepest concerns and fears – give them all into My capable hands.

Let the time in My presence shape and mold you. Let it inspire and encourage you. Let the hope found in the promises of My word bolster your faith and keep your time of waiting expectant because you know that you know I will move on your behalf because I AM faithful. Hope in Me.

Divine Connections

Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.

Beloved, I have not called you to be alone in your walk. Look around you and see the divine connections I’ve placed in your life – to encourage and exhort, comfort and inspire – you need one another. Be My love to one another and build each other up in Me.

Never replace Me with the people I put around you, but recognize My voice when it is carried on their lips. There is wisdom in a multitude of counsel. Allow iron to sharpen iron, beloved. Know that I desire you to be in fellowship with each other as with Me, I AM in your midst.
