The End from the Beginning

During a season when a dear friend was in hospice care and I was in ongoing prayer for him, Father woke me up one night with these words, “I know your first breath and your last breath.” I immediately understood He was reminding me that I didn’t need to fear because He was in control. And even more, I sensed He was reminding me that death wasn’t the last step, for He has won the victory over the grave. He guides us along life’s path. I sensed Him assuring me that He knows the beginning from the end and that the knowledge of that should fill me with comfort. Seek to Fathom Me

Job 11:7 (NIV) Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?

Beloved, I AM fathomless, yet I AM worth the effort to try. The depths of My mysteries have no end. The stretch of My hand goes beyond comprehension. And yet, those who seek Me are blessed, and those who hunger and thirst for Me are filled. 

So though My ways may defy understanding, still you should seek to understand. And though My thoughts are higher than your thoughts, seek to raise yours to Mine. I AM fathomless, beloved, and yet seek to fathom Me. Continue reading “Seek to Fathom Me”

Relentlessly Pursue the Mystery of Me

Job 36:26 (GW) Certainly, God is so great that he is beyond our understanding. The number of his years cannot be counted.

Beloved, seek out My mysteries. Continually seek to plumb My depths. Simply because I AM so great I defy full understanding doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. There is much beauty both in knowing Me and the pursuit of doing so. And though you might seek Me all of your days, there will always be more of Me to ferret out. 

So endeavor to know Me, the unknowable God. Seek to understand, and refrain from wrongly judging Me in moments you do not comprehend My ways. I AM omnipotent and all-knowing. Elohim Mishpat (God of Justice)

Job 25:2 (AMP) Dominion and awe belong to God; He establishes peace and order in His high places.

Beloved, I AM sovereign, and My rule  brings peace and justice. For I AM the righteous judge, Elohim Mishpat – God of Justice. I do what is right and establish righteousness in My Kingdom. Align yourself with Me. 

If you claim to yield to Me, but persist in walking in unrighteousness, you are deceiving yourself. Those who truly know Me walk in truth. So immerse yourself in My Word, beloved, that you might fully understand that which is good and perfect and true, and then you can walk in it. Then you will be a child of justice just as I AM the God thereof.

Spirit of the Fear of the Lord

Job 28:28 (CSB) He said to mankind, “The fear of the LORD –that is wisdom. And to turn from evil is understanding.”

Beloved, as you see Me as I AM, you cannot help but be moved by My holiness and respond in kind. In reverential fear, choose to reject that which is evil and turn your back on sin. Resist temptation.

Allow your heart to be so tender that a gentle whisper from My Spirit brings conviction and change. Willingly yield to My Spirit, beloved, and choose to flow in the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.

Walk in True Liberty

Job 23:11 (VOICE) My foot has been securely set in His tracks; I have kept to His course of life without swerving;

Beloved, choose not to be distressed or dismayed in the face of hardship knowing I AM sovereign and I will never leave your side. I have set your feet to My path and watch to steady you when you stumble. Trust that My ability to protect you is greater than your ability to mess up.

Continue to walk steadfastly along My path, knowing My plans and purposes for you are good. Walking in alignment with Me isn’t giving up your freedom, but rather walking in true liberty. So stay the course I have set you to without swerving or deviation. Trust that I AM God.

His Depths Know No Bounds

Job 36:26 (TLB) God is so great that we cannot begin to know him. No one can begin to understand eternity.

Beloved, I AM limitless. My depths know no bounds. There is always more – always more love, always more revelation, always more wisdom, always more mysteries – always more of Me. You cannot reach the ends of Me, for I AM greater than you know – but how worthy of pursuit!

Choosing to spend your life plumbing My depths is a life well spent. Bear in mind, My love, that the journey is the point. All of those precious revelations and moments along the way may not be an ultimate destination, but they are the primary purpose. Relationships are always built in the moments. Choosing to “waste” your moments on Me is never the wrong choice.

Hear Me Even in Your Sleep

Job 33:15-16 (AMP) In a dream, a vision of the night [one may hear God’s voice], When deep sleep falls on men While slumbering upon the bed, Then He opens the ears of men And seals their instruction,

Beloved, hear My whispers as you sleep. Recognize My heart. Know My voice. Feel My touch. Receive My wisdom. Heed My warnings. Feel My hand upon you as I seal My instruction in your heart. Yield to My direction. Hold fast when you awaken. Refuse to allow My download to be stolen or dismissed.

I have opened the ears of your heart. You can hear Me, beloved. Choose to be open and rest. Choose to listen. I AM moving as you sleep. I never slumber, I never sleep. I AM always aware of you and the things pertaining to you. So rest in Me, knowing I AM covering you. Healing and speaking. Protecting and refreshing.

Open your heart to hear My voice as your flesh is silent and your natural mind is not spinning or fighting My words with your own sense of logic or understanding. Hear Me, beloved. Receive, understand, and yield.  Continue reading “Hear Me Even in Your Sleep”
