Be My Covenant Defender

Empowered by Love” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Psalm 69:9 (TPT) My love for you has my heart on fire! My passion consumes me for your house! Nothing will turn me away, even though I endure all the insults of those who insult you.

Beloved, attune your ear to My heart. Be so consumed with My Word and My standard of righteousness that our desires meld into one. Allow My passion to burn as a fire in your veins, and rise up as My covenant defender. Continue reading “Be My Covenant Defender”

In the Form of Christ

One Body (Unity in Christ)” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

{vision} I saw different American Olympic athletes posing as if for a photoshoot meant to display their new team uniforms. What stood out to me was that, although the athletes had different types of uniforms based on their sport, all of the uniforms used the same set of colors. (Royal blue was the predominant color.) The consistency of the color is what would make it clear to others that they were all on the same team. Continue reading “In the Form of Christ”

Don’t Strive, Just Come: A Love Letter From Abba

“Come to the River” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

My beloved,

I’m writing you this love letter because it’s important for you to understand My heart. I created you in the secret place. I knit you together. I numbered every hair on your head. I mapped out the journey which would become your life. I know where you’re headed and how long it’s going to take you to get there. I know every detour you will take; some will be Mine and some will be yours. I know every word you will speak and the context of those words. I know every intention, inclination, and temptation you face in your life…every…single…day. Continue reading “Don’t Strive, Just Come: A Love Letter From Abba”

Make Room to Receive Your Double Portion

Invitation to Love” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

1 Samuel 1:4-5 (ESV) On the day when Elkanah sacrificed, he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and daughters. But to Hannah he gave a double portion, because he loved her, though the Lord had closed her womb.

Just as Elkanah gave Hannah a double portion out of his great love for her, though she bore him no children, so too does My boundless love extend towards you. The place of favor you have in My heart does not need to be continually earned; there is no need, for you are inherently worth loving. My eternal desire is to show My great affections toward you and lavish you in a double portion of blessing—My Spirit and My Kingdom. Will you open your heart to fully receive what I have to give?

Though I am the giver of good gifts, a gift is of no use if it is not accepted. Therefore, I am stirring your innermost being and knocking upon the doors of your heart. Will you open to Me? Will you make room to receive your double portion?

Expand your mind, beloved. Remove the limits off of Me and off of yourself. Resist the urge to box Me in by determining what you believe I would and can do for you. For through the cross, you’ve seen how far I’m willing to go for you. I hold nothing of Myself back. As you let go of false and limiting beliefs, more of My Kingdom will begin to manifest in your life. For just as the earth draws the rain, so too will your open and believing heart draw the manifestations of My love to you in surprising new ways.

Song of Solomon 5:2 (VOICE) Her: I was sleeping, but my heart was awake when I heard a sound, the sound of my love pounding at the door. Him: Open yourself to me, my sister, my dearest, my sweet dove, my flawless beauty. My head is drenched with dew; my hair is soaked with the wetness of the night.

My Love is Unwavering

Numbers 23:19 (NIV) God is not human, that he should lie not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Precious child, I have set My love upon you. My love is sure and the most stable truth of all. My heart is not fickle like that of a human, able to be hot one moment and cold the next. I do not grow bored, weary, or impatient. My affections for you do not depend upon how well or how poorly you perform; in fact, you cannot earn what I have already given you freely. And having given you My love, know, dear child, that that love is irrevocable.

I have claimed you as My own and sealed your adoption through the Blood of the Lamb. Every time you stumble and fall, know surely that I will lift you up. I will dust you off, heal your hurts, and help you get your footing again. During the times you come face to face with your weaknesses, turn to me and allow My perfect love to wash over you and strengthen you. My love is always present and available, waiting for you to grasp ahold of it. I will give sureness to your steps again and hold your hand as you continue to walk the path of life. I will never abandon you.

If ever your fears tempt you to question My affections and intentions toward you, resist the urge to run and hide in shame. Instead, remind yourself of Who I Am. I Am your Father. I Am your Redeemer. I Am Faithful. Most of all, I Am love, and My love is unwavering.

2 Corinthians 6:18 (TPT) I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Cherish Him

“Fervent Passion” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Daily we should die to ourselves so that we live with Christ. The flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong. Whenever doubt and fear try to sneak in, we can always rely on Holy Spirit to strengthen us and lift us up as long as we’re willing vessels.

So often we put unrealistic pressure on ourselves only to get discouraged when we don’t accomplish what we thought we had to. He died for us so that we can simply trust Him to guide and not us trying to do God’s job.

Love Him and trust Him blindly, like a child trusts their parents. Even when you stumble, know that He’s right there brushing the dust off your clothes, smiling at you and knowing that you want to make Him proud. So let’s have grace on ourselves and continue to cherish Christ’s sacrifice for us—because it is the most beautiful love story there could ever be!

A Father’s Love

“Unbroken Identity” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

She takes a glance in the bathroom mirror, she smiles. She’s in awe of how much she has grown in loving herself. Through her smile she whispers these words, “Papa, thank You for the beauty of Your love.”

A Father’s love has power. When a father is present and healthy, his love for his little girl speaks volumes in her life. She grows up with a healthy view of herself. She does not base how she sees herself on the lies of culture or people’s opinions. Instead, she is able to view herself through the eyes of her loving father.

1 John 3:1 (TPT) Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children.

Lately, my opinion of myself has changed. I didn’t lose weight. I’m not wearing makeup. I haven’t done anything different to change my natural appearance. I started accepting my Father’s love. When I hear His words of acceptance, love, and affirmation I receive every word. I no longer shrink back or deny who He says I am. I can see the truth of who I am through the eyes of my loving Papa.

A few years ago Papa said, “I am healing you from the abuse you suffered, and I will restore your innocence.”

{Visual} I see myself at five-years-old. I picture myself with curly ponytails, a cute little pink checkered dress, twirling around freely being me.

Thank you, Papa, for loving me. Your love for me has opened my eyes, permitting me to freely love me.

Favored One: Known One, Loved One

“Forever Bloom” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Ephesians 3:14-21 (TPT) Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!

You are known and loved. Every hidden desire, need, want, shame, disappointment, and fear are known by God and He loves every part of you. He wants you to know that He delights in you and that you are valued, treasured, and cherished. You are His child. You are His heart. He created you to be known and loved by Him.

The word “know” can have many meanings when it comes to the Hebrew or Greek context. Ultimately, it means that God knows every single part of you and loves it all, and He is calling you to know Him in the same way. Yes, there are times He may be disappointed in your choices but, oh, how many more times there are when He is ecstatic over the steps you are taking and the progress you are making to become more like Him.

He delights in you, His Child, and He is constantly whispering in your ear, “Well done, my child, well done!” He is so proud of you and is constantly saying of you, “Here is my child, who I love beyond words and am so pleased and delighted in!” This delight and pride is revealed in the favor you receive as you walk on the path He has planned and appointed you for. Receive this love and favor and know how much your Abba Daddy delights in you and rejoices over you in every way.

{Hearing} You were born for an appointed time. Your design, your creation was highly favored by Me. You were created for a purpose and that purpose is to be My child, My Favored One. Nothing you do, no direction you go in, no decision you make will separate you from My love. Do I have ordained plans for you? Yes, I do. Yet no matter whether you choose to follow the path I have for you or not, I love you. (Romans 8:38-39 [AMP])

Let Me Love You

“Abundant Fruit” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

I place my hand in His to begin this lifelong journey. This is just the beginning of allowing Jesus to love me. As He spoke these words, “You are worthy of love. You are worth loving,” He has awakened me with the sound of His voice, His words penetrating the depths of my heart and melting away the lies of fear and shame.

Who is this one? Look at her now! She arises out of her desert, clinging to her beloved. When I awakened you under the apple tree, as you were feasting upon me, I awakened your innermost being with the travail of birth as you longed for more of me. 6 Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being. 7 Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame. Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you. Everything will be consumed. It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore. Song of Songs 8:5-7 (TPT)

For so long the cry of my heart has been, “Jesus, I love you!” Then one day He gently whispered these words to my heart, “Allow Me to love you.” All this time I never thought about allowing Him to love me. I assumed, as long as I love Him, that’s all that matters.

In that moment, He showed me how I had not opened my heart to receive His love for me. But, why? I did not believe I was worth loving. I did not believe I deserved His love. I assumed it was enough for me to love on Him but did not allow Him to love on me.

The beauty of His words have awakened my heart. Each time He speaks of His love for me, I am completely overwhelmed and undone by how He could love me so much.

Sit. Be still. Breathe. Breathe deep. Rest. Receive.
