The Key is to Ask

“The Seeker’s Keys” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Jeremiah 33:3 (AMP) ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’

For several years, I have been learning how important it is for us to ask questions in our daily walk with God. Persistently inquiring of God about Scripture, its mysteries, or my prophetic encounters with Him has been like a key that opens the double doors of revelation. While God desires that His children would inquire of Him so that we will learn more, we may not realize that the release of His Kingdom is actually dependent upon it. Ride Forth

Revelation 19:14-15 (AMP) And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world].

There is a call from heaven to don our linen robes, climb upon our horses, and ride into war with our King. But what does Kingdom warfare truly look like? In Scripture, we see a foreshadowing of Christ through the mighty warrior King David. David drew all of his strength from God alone. God preserved David in good times and in bad and ultimately empowered David to unify the Kingdom of Israel. David had perpetual victory in battle due to his strong connection with the King of Kings. Be Prayerful and Expectant

James 5:16 (AMP) …The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Beloved, allow yourself to dream and hope. You know who I AM – the God of the impossible, so don’t hesitate to bring to Me that which stirs in your heart. Resist the urge to qualify your heart’s desires to determine their “worth” because I love to hear the desires of your heart. No petition is too outlandish or outrageous – I love when you think big because I AM a big God. Nor is any request too small or insignificant. What is on your heart is important to Me, and I hear the requests of My children.

So allow your heartfelt requests to come forth in prayer and expectation. Trust Me to move. There is great power as you team together with Me. So don’t be one who “has not because they ask not.” Ask, seek, and knock; then wait expectantly for Me to open the door.

Be certain to ask in faith. What is the point of asking if you expect no response? Would you knock on a door without expectation of it being opened? Be sure to be expectant that I will hear and respond. It may not be in the way you’re hoping, but I don’t ignore the petitions of those I love (and I love you). So be prayerful and expectant, beloved, and watch as I move.

Tenacious Warfare

Jeremiah 51:27 (GW) Raise your battle flag throughout the world. Blow the ram’s horn among the nations. Prepare nations to attack Babylon. Tell the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz to attack it. Appoint a commander to lead the attack. Bring up horses like a swarm of locusts.

Beloved, keep your heart tuned into My frequency and keep your eyes at the ready. Be sensitive and know the times. Listen for when I rally My people – calling them together from the east and from the west. Respond to My cry. It is time to take action.

Prepare for battle, beloved – a war fought on your knees through the righteous prayer and intercession of the saints. They are as strong and mighty as rearing stallions – bold and fearless. So listen and respond. Join the troops, be tenacious in your warfare, and remember I AM always victorious.

Adon Olam (Master of the World/Sovereign of the Universe)

Matthew 6:13 (KJV) …For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Beloved, see Me for who I AM: Lord of all, Adon Olam – the Master of the World, Sovereign of the Universe – and I AM the ultimate authority. See Me as I AM, for in doing so your faith will rise. And allow that faith to increase your understanding that truly nothing is too difficult for Me.

So declare the truth of who I AM and bring praise to My holy name. Give honor to Me, beloved, and watch how I move. See My power on display. Have eyes to see the miracles both great and small. I AM able to do abundantly above all you can ask or think, for I AM God. Continue reading “Adon Olam (Master of the World/Sovereign of the Universe)”

Walk in Victory

Matthew 6:13 (KJV) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…

Beloved, you can always ask that I not lead you into temptation, but know when the times of testing come, it is simply an opportunity for your character to grow. I AM with you in the midst of every trial, and nothing is too hard for Me.

So look to Me, in seasons of trial and temptation as well as season of rest and blessing, for I AM God in them all. I AM the deliverer, YHVH Sabaoth – the Lord of Hosts, the One who walks in victory. And as you stand with Me, you walk in victory too.  Continue reading “Walk in Victory”

Extend Forgiveness

Matthew 6:12 (KJV) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Beloved, be known as some who extends much grace and who forgives quickly. In doing so, you reflect My heart to the world around you, and you leave no room for bitterness and resentment to take root.

You have been forgiven much. I hold no record of wrongs though My memory is more expansive and accurate than anyone’s. So follow My example, beloved, and release those who wrong or slight you into My capable hands. Trust Me to act rightly, for I AM the righteous judge. Continue reading “Extend Forgiveness”

YHVH Jireh (the Lord your Provider)

Matthew 6:11 (KJV) Give us this day our daily bread.

Beloved, look to Me for your provision. Resist the urge to trust in man – who is as changeable as a summer breeze, or even to trust in your own human efforts – which are fallible at best. Instead look to Me, and know I AM fully able to take care of My children.

I AM YHVH Jireh, the Lord your Provider, and I AM creative in My provision. I multiplied the loaves and fishes, and I caused the Israelites’ shoes to never wear out as they wandered the desert. Look to Me, and trust Me to meet every need in its time.  Continue reading “YHVH Jireh (the Lord your Provider)”

Ask Me to Align Earth with Heaven

Matthew 6:10 (KJV) Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Beloved, ask for Me to align earth with heaven. Ask for My will to be done. Doing so demonstrates a trust in My will and My plans. Doing so yields control to Me rather than attempting to steer things according to your limited view. Trust Me.

I desire for the supernatural to be natural in your life. I desire to see My people moving in My power under My authority. Ask for My power to come and be made manifest in the earth. Don’t be afraid to ask for the impossible because with Me nothing is impossible, but trust Me to do what is best.  Continue reading “Ask Me to Align Earth with Heaven”

Called to Pray

Matthew 6:9 (KJV) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Beloved, you are called to pray. And the format for doing so has been made clear in My Word. Speak to Me from your heart, in humble reverence remembering who I AM and the magnitude of My authority. Beloved, I reign over all. I AM sovereign.

Call to Me and I will answer – as I’ve promised. It won’t always be the way that you want or the answer you’re hoping for, but you can rest assured I do not neglect My children nor turn a deaf ear to their petitions. So be intentional to pray to Me, and do so from a heart of steadfast devotion. Share your heart with Me and trust it in My hands, for I AM worthy and able, and you are Mine.  Continue reading “Called to Pray”
