Dyed4you Art Flag: Jireh

This is our Jireh flag, which features our Increase silk. This flag is part of our Names of God” Dyed4you Art flag line. Each of these flags feature an image of a related Dyed4you silk, the word for which is included as part of the word that goes with this flag. Additionally, these flags are anointed with the same oils as the original silks.

The Hebrew lettering on this flag says: Jehovah Jireh, which means the Lord our Provider. This name comes from Genesis 22:14 (ASV) [emphasis mine] “And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.”

In scripture, the name of God is written with the Hebrew letters: yod-hey-vav-hey. This is sometimes noted in English by the acronym of the letters (YHVH); and sometimes vowels are added to create Jehovah, Yahweh (sometimes abbreviated YHWH), or Yehovah (also abbreviated YHVH). All of these renditions refer to the one true God, the eternal one, maker of heaven and earth.

Though some people firmly believe in using one version over another, we use whichever one we feel led to given the circumstances. As Jehovah tends to be the most recognized version, that was what we felt led to use on this flag. Just as we see earthly parents and grandparents smile as their familial infants slaughter the pronunciation of their names, so we trust God will extend grace to us. We believe His primary concern is that we are in fact calling on Him. And the fact that we are gives Him much pleasure.

A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Jehovah Jireh (the Lord our Provider) {Moments with God}.”

{Reminding myself}  In the moment I am afraid, I remind myself of who You are. Jehovah Jireh is Your name – I know my Lord provides. It’s in Your very nature to see all that I need – long before I am even aware, and in every situation You are faithful to supply. In good times and in hard times, You’ve never let me down. Though Your solution may be creative, may come at what I consider “the last moment,” and may not look at all as I expected – You comes through, without fail. What needs to change is my trust in You, because worry is simply wasted effort.

{My prayer} Help me, Father, to rest more fully in Your arms. To know You always have me, and will never let me down. Help me to wait with trust-filled joy as I yield to Your timing, for I know that Your faithfulness exceeds my comprehension, and Your love for me is greater than I could begin to understand.

Genesis 22:14 (NLT) Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the LORD will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

The name of the silk in this piece is Increase

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Multiplication Power, which is used as a symbol of coming into unity with God and those He yokes us with all for the purpose of the multiplication power. The deeper meaning of this oil reads:

The multiplication power comes when forces join (one puts a thousand to flight and two puts ten thousand – Deuteronomy 32:30) and synergy happens, creating a deep and abiding strength. A strong marriage can be an example of this: the masculine and feminine traits joining with God in their midst – a powerhouse that brings forth life.

In this anointing oil, each essential oil is a “fighter” – with living, individual power, but as they’re combined they have a synergy that brings that multiplication power. These oils are mirroring the heart behind this anointing oil – the multiplication power. Again, one bringing a thousand to flight as two brings TEN thousand. Combined energies. Synergistic power. Exponential multiplication. In this anointing oil each essential oil has its role and that role or characteristic prophetically mirrors necessary roles and traits needed in groups to bring unity and that synergy that brings deep strength.
