Silk: Catalyst to Intimacy

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “catalyst” as “an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.” Beloved, you are called to be a catalyst to intimacy with Papa. Your walk, personal experiences, and anointing are to pave the way into His presence so others can follow. Because only in His presence can true change and healing take place. And as you yourself experience the power of His presence, your strength as a catalyst for launching others there is increased exponentially.

I have claimed you as My own and sealed your adoption through the Blood of the Lamb. Every time you stumble and fall, know surely that I will lift you up. I will dust you off, heal your hurts, and help you get your footing again. During the times you come face to face with your weaknesses, turn to me and allow My perfect love to wash over you and strengthen you. My love is always present and available, waiting for you to grasp ahold of it. I will give sureness to your steps again and hold your hand as you continue to walk the path of life. I will never abandon you.

If ever your fears tempt you to question My affections and intentions toward you, resist the urge to run and hide in shame. Instead, remind yourself of Who I Am. I Am your Father. I Am your Redeemer. I Am Faithful. Most of all, I Am love, and My love is unwavering.

2 Corinthians 6:18 (TPT) I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Beloved, don’t be afraid to reach out and grab hold of My healing flow. I AM YHVH Rapha, the Lord your Healer. Touch Me and receive your healing – whether it be in body, mind, or spirit, I have healing here for you.

Receive the power of My touch. Remember that to touch Me you must be in My presence. So stay close, beloved, and be healed by the power of My presence and My touch.

Beloved, hover in My presence. Rest under My covering. In Me will you find peace. In Me will you find healing. And in Me will you find joy, safety, and so much more. So rest in Me, refusing to be drawn away. 

Beloved, the choice is yours: to hover close or to step out from under My wings. Be mindful of the consequences of both and be intentional to choose wisely. I will not force you to seek My presence and protection, but I long to lavish you with it. I never grow tired of you or weary of your needs. 

So tarry with Me, be intentional to stay close. Just as a child might cling to a parent for a feeling of safety, so you should remain with Me – your heart ever tarrying, clinging tightly to Me because in Me you find your hope and your refuge. Find your strength in Me.

Psalm 84:1 (VOICE) [emphasis mine]  “How lovely is Your temple, Your dwelling place on earth, O Eternal One, Commander of heaven’s armies.”

While working on a Prophetic Nugget collection based on Psalm 84 which I titled “YHVH Tsaba – Lord of Hosts (Psalm 84),” I wondered why the author of that psalm selected that specific name of God. 

Historically, I’ve thought of the Lord of Hosts much like a great army general – kind of distant, very fierce, and mostly an aspect of God that is (well let’s face it) kind of mean and angry (He’s fighting after all). It’s amazing how we can have biases hovering below the surface we aren’t even conscious of.

The more I meditated on this psalm and God has expanded it to Me through the downloads He’s given, the more I’ve realized how inaccurate my picture has been. This became clear because the subsequent verses speak of love, nurturing, and protection. They’re about relationship and connection.

In reading the content of Psalm 84, I’d probably have addressed it to the Faithful God – Elohim Aman, the Everlasting Arms – Olam Zerowa, God with us – Emanuel, or perhaps even Jealous God – El Qanna. But it’s easy to forget that all these names refer to the same Eternal One. They represent different facets of character, but one Being. And in Psalm 84, the author directs the heartcry to the name (facet of character) Lord of Hosts.

As I meditated on this seeming dichotomy, God began to paint a very different picture. One of a loving husband who would do anything to protect and nurture his family. He would go to war to protect them – even lay down his life if necessary. Not that the fighting is something for him to take pleasure in, but rather a necessity for the safety of those he loves. 

What lengths would the conquering hero go to in order to protect his beloved? Or a loving father protecting his child’s life or innocence? How much more so our Creator? Yes He is El Qanna (the Jealous God) because we are His. Not as a possession, but rather as one who has chosen to be accepted into His family.

So with that context of ferocious love, I can begin to understand the depth of affection this YHVH Tsaba – Lord of Hosts – has for me, for all of us. May we embrace the fullness of the depth of affection He has for us and step into greater intimacy with Him as a result.

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Beloved, know that I have given you fullness of joy because I have granted you complete access to My Presence. Resist the urge to become discouraged when the earthly realm shifts your focus and you feel out of alignment with Me. Simply stop, take a breath, and seek Me. Look to the Cross and remember that the way has been paved back into the Garden of My Presence. Your old life is gone and I have made you new. The newness of life that you now have is eternal and lived by faith, and daily I call you to discover what that means.

There is grace upon grace upon grace as you learn how to remain in the flow of abundant life. As much as possible, resist feeling pressured or rushed by the earthly realm. While to the world may seem to be overpowering, it is I, your God, that holds power over all. Victory is not waiting for you in some distant future; victory is available now through My Spirit.

Now it the time to come into My rest. Simply learn to “be” in Me. I created you for freedom, therefore, feel free to live, and move, and have your being in Me. You exist that I might delight in you and that you might delight in Me. Holy pleasure is found as you cease from striving and remain at rest and life-union with your Creator.

Therefore, I say, take of the fruit of the tree of life—My Word. My Word holds the answer to every question you have, it is the antidote to whatever ails you, it is your vision and wisdom, and it contains all of the promises I have given to you. By partaking of My Word—My very nature—your inner life is renewed daily. As your thoughts and perspective become as My own, the uncontainable joy of life will come bursting forth from within you.

John 10:10 (VOICE) The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance.

John 4:14 (NLT) But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts…

Beloved, fear is abolished in the presence of My perfect love. You no longer need to fear punishment, for even though I chasten those I love, I do so in love. If I wound, I heal. And if I break, I bind. And even then beloved, I only do so when it is necessary and I AM with you through it all. 

You are cherished and loved. I AM not looking for things to reprimand you for nor seeking reason to punish you. I AM a good Father, and I love My children. Receive that love and be made whole.

20 years ago I saw Jesus face to face. His eyes were orange and yellow fire…I was drawn to gaze into the intense flames in His eyes. Gazing intimately into the eyes of Jesus is the place of deliverance and peace.

Jesus is calling all of us to gaze into His blazing eyes of fire and love and receive into us that flow of anointing and power until the pressure finally breaks the yoke of bondage and every dark demonic being on assignment against our lives is so tormented by the light of Jesus’s fiery gaze that they are completely broken off us. 

He whispers to us, “Don’t look to the left or to the right. Don’t become distracted from My eyes.” This is not just a place of deliverance, but of forever intimacy. It’s the source of Life. It’s daily Bread. It’s the object of our fervent affection. It’s the first and only Love. It’s the air we breathe. It’s our everlasting reward. Jesus King of Glory, our heart’s desire.

Jesus said to me, “The fire that burns in My eyes is LOVE. The power to break all fear and anxiety is found in My eyes. Look into My eyes and be perfected in My love. Gaze into my fire and be purified. I alone have the power to cast out demons and break every yoke…”

There is NO FEAR IN LOVE, but perfect love CASTS OUT fear (1 John 4:18). GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8). His eyes are a FLAME OF FIRE (Rev. 19:12). You have said, “SEEK MY FACE.” My heart says to you, “Your face, LORD, do I seek.” (Ps. 27:8) The yoke shall be destroyed because of the ANOINTING (Isa. 10:27). And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, PRINCE OF PEACE (Isa. 9:6).

The eyes of Jesus… the cure for fear.

Revelation 4:3 (VOICE) The One enthroned gleamed like jasper and carnelian, and a rainbow encircled the throne with an emerald glow.

Beloved, be caught up into My throne room – you are welcome here. Be caught up in My presence. Allow My glory to overtake you like a rushing wave. Be immersed in the weight of My majesty and love. Be undone. 

See Me as I AM, beloved: high and lifted up. I AM welcoming you to be with Me, to be changed in My presence. To behold My majesty and be overwhelmed by My splendor. Make time for Me. Take time in communion with Me. 

See those who surround My throne and respond likewise. Allow your knees to weaken in holy reverence and fall to your face crying “Holy! Holy! Holy!” See Me as I AM. Experience Me and be forever changed by a real and powerful encounter with the Living God. 

Revelation 4:1-11 (TPT) Then suddenly, after I wrote down these messages, I saw a heavenly portal open before me, and the same trumpet-voice I heard speaking with me at the beginning  broke the silence and said,“ Ascend into this realm! I want to reveal to you what must happen after this.” Instantly I was taken into the spirit realm, and behold—I saw a heavenly throne set in place and someone seated upon it. His appearance was sparkling like crystal and glowing like a carnelian gemstone. Surrounding the throne was a circle of green light, like an emerald rainbow. Encircling the great throne were twenty-four thrones with elders in glistening white garments seated upon them, each wearing a golden crown of victory. And pulsing from the throne were blinding flashes of lightning, crashes of thunder, and voices. And burning before the throne are seven blazing torches, which represent the seven Spirits of God. And in front of the throne there was pavement like a crystal sea of glass. Around the throne and on each side stood four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind. The first living creature resembled a lion, the second an ox, the third had a human face, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. Each of the four living creatures had six wings, full of eyes all around and under their wings. They worshiped without ceasing, day and night, singing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty! The Was, the Is, and the Coming!” And whenever the living creatures gave glory, honor, and thanks to the One who is enthroned and who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your plan they were created and exist.”

This has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s His Presence. People often want to come into the Lord’s presence without repentance. But the Lord is calling us to holiness. We are to establish His presence wherever we go – mark His territory – but we cannot do this if we have not repented and do not reflect His holiness. We must come before Him with clean hands and a clean heart. The scripture that goes with this is from Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
