A sky so dark, smoke rising from the ground.
Broken and battle weary, not an ally to be found.
Bruised and battered, I fall to my knees.
I cry out loud, “Lord help me please!” Continue reading “My Promise to You”
Psalm 62 1-2 (NIV) Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
He is our everything! Papa is our strength and our fortress, we need nothing else. Daily we are faced with different battles, we may be torn left and right and feel like throwing in the towel, but He is right there walking with us step by step. When we are weak, He is strong for us and gets us through anything, even what seems impossible. He is the God of the impossible. Continue reading “He is our Strength”
Hebrews 12:28-29 (VOICE) Therefore, let us all be thankful that we are a part of an unshakable Kingdom and offer to God worship that pleases Him and reflects the awe and reverence we have toward Him, for He is like a fierce fire that consumes everything.
Beloved, I AM unshakable. My Kingdom knows no end. I AM a fierce and mighty warrior – a blazing fire and a roaring lion, shaking all that can be shaken so that what may stand firm will remain.
As you are tested in the fires, you need not be afraid. In the valley of the shadow of death, I AM with you – you have nothing to fear. Join forces with Me. Stay by My side and trust Me, for I AM unshakable. Continue reading “I AM Unshakable”
Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
True self-confidence isn’t a matter of full reliance in our own strength and abilities. We find confidence when our identities are properly rooted in Christ. We become like trees that are planted by rivers of water. While we are called to stand, we are not expected to do so completely in own strength; we must draw from the Sustaining Source of all life. Seasons of heat force us to stretch our roots deep to find the Word and promises of God when they seem hardest to find. We are strengthened by God’s faithfulness and upheld by His flawless character. I keep hearing the Father say to just be yielded vessels to Me and for Me. Allow Me to work in and through you, allow Me access to all places. Those places that you might wall off or shut down to others, allow Me access so I can bring in My rush of healing, love, and provision. I will remove all doubt and fear. And like the verse says, “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 3:14). You can do all things and have boldness, courage, and strength to do anything that I have indeed called you to. Proverbs 3:5 (VOICE) Place your trust in the Eternal; rely on Him completely; never depend upon your own ideas and inventions.
Beloved, spread wide your arms and trust in Me. Take your hands off your circumstances and throw your head back and give praise to the One who is worthy. Know that I have you covered, so release it all to Me.
I AM all you need. Let Me lift you in My love, and strengthen you by My Spirit. Let me give you true vision, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear can see and know the things not of the earthly realm. Embrace the things of heaven, and trust in Me. Continue reading “Embrace the Things of Heaven”
Acts 4:31 (AMP) And when they had prayed, the place where they were meeting together was shaken [a sign of God’s presence]; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness and courage.
Beloved, boldness is birthed in the quiet place. Godly boldness doesn’t come from being brash or needing to be the center of attention. It is birthed in a place of yielded humility – one of beautiful intimacy with Me.
In intimacy, My nature is increasingly revealed. And as I’m known, faith in Me is the result. And from that firm foundation of faith, grows a holy boldness that is earth-shaking. When I meet with My children, they cannot help but be changed. And those who have been radically changed cannot keep it to themselves because such truth is too beautiful not to share.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.
Beloved, I am your strength. I am the very power that sustains your life. My ability to sustain you is much more than physical, and it is always available for you to draw on. However, never is My keeping power more apparent than in times when you feel the weakest. Yes, times of trial can be humbling. Through them, you learn to draw on My strength day to day, and moment to moment when necessary. But I do not wish for you lose sight of this truth, for this is who I am to all the days of your life. Psalm 18:18 (TPT) When I was at my weakest, my enemies attacked— but the Lord held on to me.
Beloved, I AM your strength. When the enemy comes – for he surely always will – look to Me and grab My hand. I will not let you go. I hold you tightly and cover you in the shadow of My wings.
I AM your covering – your safe place in the storm. And just as you seek shelter from the natural elements – not choosing to run outside in a hail storm, so be wise and stay tucked in My safety. Resist the urge to “be independent” and refuse to seek My shelter in the storm, for if you will let Me, I will happily hold you in My everlasting arms. Simply turn to Me.
