I had a vision of a shallow fast moving river flowing down into a waterfall then onward. A breath of wind moved in and around the river like a ribbon. This vision shifted to an ocean where I could see the depth and layers it carried. Then I could see the river flowing into the ocean. The river joined seamlessly being pulled into the bottom layers of the ocean and then up and over into the waves. The breath of wind had been riding on top of the river and instead of smoothly flowing over the ocean water it pushed against the ocean waves and caused an increase of water droplets spraying upward and outward.
The sense of the vision wasn’t of disharmony. There was a sense of power and gentleness. The wind wasn’t fighting the movement of the ocean. It felt like it was bringing balance.
Sometimes when purpose is known, a person can settle into a determined pace and focus solely on the perceived journey or battle or whatever goal there is. Courage and boldness can create a sense of intensity and potentially a force or speed with it. Sometimes that intensity and force needs to be redirected to make a greater impact.
I am sensing that the wind represents listening and yielding, and the spray of water droplets is about connection and distribution of strength and purpose. This vision is about uplifting the heart of the Father and His people. It’s about joining forces and bringing connection again. It’s about submission to the Father’s heart and rejoicing in the plans He has for us.
I feel like He is doing a redirection. He wants our focus to shift. He has new things He wants to bring and He cannot reveal them until our focus is redirected. When I asked what this redirection was about I realized it focused on who He is. I initially wondered if He wanted us to focus on how He is love, then I thought of His glory. What finally rang true was God is Righteousness. He is focusing on His righteousness right now on the earth.
When I think of righteousness I realize the depth that word has and how it encompasses God’s love, His glory and a host of other characteristics. His sovereignty now comes to mind and His justice when I think of this vision. He is righteous, He is sovereign, He is justice and judge. He is raising up His people to boldly proclaim His righteousness in word and deed. This is a new wineskin. This isn’t about condemnation or shaming. It’s about making right what is wrong and operating in integrity and honor.
He is assigning each of us a purpose with the gifts and talents to fulfill it to bring His righteousness to the earth.
