Respond to My Call

Luke 10:41-42 (TPT) The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

My Bride, do not be troubled by the cares of this world. And resist the urge to fret over the actions (or inaction) of your brethren. For I am calling all to arise, trim wicks, and burn brightly with My love. If you expend your energy immersed in worry and fear, your time will be spent striving and accomplishing little. And if you are primarily concerned with judging the behavior of others, you risk falling asleep and becoming lax in your own spiritual growth. I desire that you would simply rest in Me and flourish. Abide in Me, and bear the fruit of My Spirit for all to see. Continue reading “Respond to My Call”

Surrender Out of Love, Not Fear

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.

Beloved, I would much rather you be moved to surrender out of your love for Me than by fear. You are safe with Me, and I never ask you to do anything that will not be of benefit to you. Yes, sometimes what I ask of you may be hard, and yes, I may stretch you. But I am not here to force My will upon you or arrogantly flaunt My power—love never demands or seeks its own way. Instead, I am seeking your humble agreement, alignment, and trust in My perfect will. Continue reading “Surrender Out of Love, Not Fear”

Let Love Be Your Battle Cry

Psalm 105:19 (NKJV) Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.

Beloved one, remember that each time you take a step to grasp ahold of My promises for your life that you are also attempting to take territory for the Kingdom of Heaven. This means that you are stepping onto a battlefield, declaring war against the darkness which seeks to maintain its hold on your inheritance. Therefore, do not be surprised that the enemy will resist you and the manifestation of My Word in your life. He will try to convince you that My promises are not true or that they are not for you. He will accuse you in an attempt to make you forget that you are clothed in My righteousness and that My favor is upon your life. Continue reading “Let Love Be Your Battle Cry”

Fresh Focus

1 Corinthians 2:16 (AMP) For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].

Beloved, I’m going to reboot you. I am going to restart your mind and your thoughts. And with this reboot I will renew your vision and give you fresh focus. Do not become discouraged, ashamed, or disappointed because of the distractions that have been causing you to lose focus. Yes, the whirlwind of the enemy has been swirling around you and it has been difficult to see. And yes, it would be easier if the distractions he throws at you were removed. But I declare that My grace is sufficient for you, and My strength is made perfect in your weakness! Continue reading “Fresh Focus”
