The Name

“His Holy Name” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Exodus 6:3 (NLT)  I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty’—but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them.

In Exodus 6:3, God makes an interesting statement to Moses. He says, “I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty’—but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them.” There are Jewish scholars who claim that this Scripture isn’t saying that the forefathers of the faith didn’t know that “Yahweh” was one of God’s many names. Instead, the side of God’s character that the forefathers saw throughout their lives was only El Shaddai—the all-powerful God, their sufficiency and sustainer. However, generations later in Egypt, the children of Israel witnessed the character of God in a way their forefathers did not. Yahweh—whose very name reflects that He is the source of all existence and being—showed His power in a way that completely defied the laws of nature. Continue reading “The Name”

Only God’s Fire

A close up of a painted Dyed4you silk called Glory of the Throne Room

In scripture, God clearly lays out the detailed instructions to be followed in the ways of worship, offerings and sacrifices for Aaron the High Priest. Sacrifices and offerings were consumed by that holy fire. This pure and holy fire was to be the only source of acceptable fire before Him.  Continue reading “Only God’s Fire”

Journey of Destiny

God of Compassion (El Rachum) by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Exodus 40:36(VOICE) Through all their wanderings in the desert, whenever the cloud lifted up from the congregation tent, the Israelites would break camp and set out.

Psalm 56:8(TPT) You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.

There are times when things may hit us unexpectedly. Something may come out of the blue–throwing us off completely. We may immediately begin to search inwardly thinking we have done something wrong in order for THIS to happen. Unexpected life changes can have a way of feeling like a hard blow to the gut– leaving us feeling like the wind is knocked out of us. Even in THIS, Papa reminds us He is NEVER caught off-guard and He IS with us. Continue reading “Journey of Destiny”

The Glory of the Throne Room and the Value of His Presence

The glory of the throne room exists outside of space and time, beloved. The door in the spirit realm stands open – waiting, an invitation for you to step in. Immerse yourself in My presence. Saturate yourself in My glory.

Value Me – value My presence – as the greatest gift imaginable. Just as I have held nothing back in My pursuit of you, hold nothing back in your pursuit of Me. Value Me as the rarest of gems and sacrifice all to have Me. I AM worth the cost.  Continue reading “The Glory of the Throne Room and the Value of His Presence”

No Longer Slaves

“Join Forces” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Exodus 12:41 (NKJV) And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

There comes a point in our spiritual journey where God calls us to shift how we see our relationship with Him and how we see ourselves. So often we may find ourselves focusing on God as our refuge and our deliverer. And indeed, He is all that and more to us; He has delivered us out of bondage with a mighty hand. And yet, an amazing truth is that God delivered so that we might join forces with Him. We are no longer slaves, instead, we have been called to stand by the side of our King as a mighty army. Reign of the Eternal

“Forever Bloom” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

1 John 4:13 (VOICE) How can we be sure that He truly lives in us and that we truly live in Him? By one fact: He has given us His Spirit.

In a vision, I saw the Father shaking a sunflower over His child. Water droplets fell from the sunflower and upon the childlike rain. I sensed that the essence of the sunflower was transferred into the water. Therefore, it was clear that the essence of the sunflower would saturate the child that the Father was sprinkling. I AM Lord of All

Exodus 15:3 (AMP) The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name.

Beloved, I will not retreat from a fight. I battle for those I love because I deem you worthy. You are precious and prized – the apple of My eye, and when someone hurts you, it hurts Me. So leave justice in My hands, for only My judgment is righteous.

You can trust in Me. You can trust your heart in My care. Give yourself to me fully – without holding back, and watch how I lavish My love upon you. I AM Lord of all. I AM.

El Shaddai (God Almighty)

Exodus 33:15 (AMP) And Moses said to Him, “If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here.

Beloved, let your heart be so taken with My presence that you refuse to move without Me. Remember that I AM El Shaddai (God Almighty), and the source of all life and power. Nothing good is accomplished without My hand.

Look to Me. Be steadfast in your gaze. Resist the urge to be distracted or to wander out from under the shadow of My wing. Allow Me to lead and accept no substitute. For I AM God, and there is none like Me.

Stand in Faith

Exodus 14:14 (NLT) The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Beloved, stand in faith – that is your role. Stand, trusting Me to fight on your behalf. Trusting that I will be victorious. Trusting Me. Rally your heart, and declare My name to the nations. Stand in agreement with all I AM – the Lord strong and mighty, victorious in battle.

Beloved, stay calm – calm because you trust Me at My word. If you believe My promises, what have you to fret over? I AM true to My word. I AM faithful from generation to generation. And I AM victorious.

Your calmness is warfare. It is a declaration of trust. It is a silent battle cry. It is an act of faith. Never underestimate the power of faith nor the weight an act of faith has in the spiritual realm. So stand in faith, beloved, and watch as I move.
