Breakthrough: Though it Tarries, It Tarries Not

Mighty Breaker Anointing by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

In previous posts, we’ve talked about Celebrating Each Breakthrough, and we’ve talked about Incremental Breakthroughs and Managing Our Expectations, but in the midst of all this talk about smaller breakthroughs, I don’t want us to lose sight of the fact that God also moves through big breakthroughs. Our focus on smaller breakthroughs is simply an acknowledgment that they are worth noting and celebrating, not that they are the only breakthroughs God does, for nothing is impossible with God. Faith like a Mustard Seed

Matthew 17:20 (NIV) He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

So often we are challenged on how big our faith is and more often than not we doubt our faith. Yet it’s written so clear that faith just as big as a mustard seed can move mountains.

In this life we will be faced with multiple mountains and our faith will be put to the test. At that moment we simply need to remember that no matter how small our faith may seem, it has the potential to grow as we keep facing mountains and witness them be moved by our faith and our Heavenly Father is right by our side cheering us on!!!

Plant the Seed

Mark 4:30-32 (NIV) Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? 31 It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. 32 Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”

So often we find ourselves in situations where we can’t see how we could possibly have any impact… Well, I encourage you to keep in mind that our purpose is to just plant the seed!

A seed will grow with time into it’s fullness. We should always remember that growth starts at the roots, underneath the surface where it can’t be seen. Trees, flowers, plants all grow at different speed, the same goes for a seed that we are called to plant in someone’s life! We may not get the benefit of reaping it’s harvest BUT we can know for certain that it will take root!

Take Courage

Beloved, dwell not on the things of the past. Instead look forward to the future with joy and contentment. Let your passion arise and see how my favor opens many doors for you. Cease to walk in fear. You will not be abandoned. You will see fresh fruit and new wine pouring out of you. Circumstances may not appear favorable but see what I will do. I will part the Red Sea. I will align hearts and pathways to intersect and come into union with you. You will be given strategies to overcome and prevail against the winds and waves that come. You stand in peace and will command peace. Peace I speak over you and I give you that same authority to declare it in every situation.  Continue reading “Take Courage”
