Eye of the Lord

“Surrendered Heart” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Psalm 17:8 (VOICE) Keep close watch over me as the apple of Your eye; shelter me in the shadow of Your wings.

At some point in my childhood, I was seriously convinced that the moon was the eye of God. Before I would go to bed, I would sit by the window and stare at that bright light in the darkness sure that the One who loved me was staring back. At this time, I didn’t know about the Scripture that says the eyes of the Lord are always upon the righteous (Psalm 34:15) or how we are the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8). Yet somehow, I instinctively knew this truth.  Continue reading “Eye of the Lord”

Loving Yourself

Invitation to Love (no text version) by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Beloved, what I have made is good, and you are included in that creation. It is essential that you both accept and love yourself. Accept yourself as being beautiful. Accept yourself as being worth loving. Accept yourself as you are. Refuse to give conditional love to yourself. Rather overflow with unconditional love knowing that you are a work in progress, and, as you yield to My Spirit, further progress and beauty will take place. Give space for the process. Removing the Root of Shame

Unbroken Identity by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Webster’s defines “shame” as a “feeling of guilt, regret, or sadness that you have because you know you have done something wrong.” It is also “the ability to feel guilt, regret, or embarrassment, dishonor or disgrace.” Shame can become so familiar, almost like an old friend. You know that old friend who your mom told you wasn’t a good influence but you didn’t listen. You look at that old friend and memories of a different time and a different you start to surface. It’s the “before Christ” you, and it isn’t pretty. All of the sudden you are haunted by the shame of your past and it’s crippling. At some point, we have all wrestled with shame. Even the most mature believer can fall prey to shame. I know because it recently happened to me. Continue reading “Removing the Root of Shame”

You are Loved

“You are Loved” by Jessica Smith Art on Display

In a vision/experience during worship, I was at the foot of God’s throne. A place I had seen many times during prayer and worship. His throne was box shaped and completely coated in like diamond dust, silver and transparent jewels which were radiating the GRACE of God and as I pressed my hands upon the throne I was being filled with the new wine through His Holy Spirit.  Continue reading “You are Loved”

Sow with Peace

James 3:18 (VOICE) The seed that flowers into righteousness will always be planted in peace by those who embrace peace.

Peace is the currency of Heaven! Each step that you take or consider taking, pause first, and take an inventory of your motive… The motives of our heart are so crucial for the outcome of our actions.

Even if someone hurt us, return your response to their action with peace and love! Our biggest weapon against enemy attacks is LOVE. Continue to sow love with peace, and righteousness will flow from it. You are God’s righteousness through Christ! Remember that.
