Come to Him—the living stone—who was rejected by people but accepted by God as chosen and precious. Like living stones, let yourselves be assembled into a spiritual house, a holy order of priests who offer up spiritual sacrifices that will be acceptable to God through Jesus the Anointed. But you are a chosen people, set aside to be a royal order of priests, a holy nation, God’s own; so that you may proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called you out of inky darkness into shimmering light.

Follow the Beat of My Heart

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.

Beloved, be led by the sound of the beat of My heart. Resist the call of the world, which seeks to guide you through fear, guilt, and shame. You are My delight, and I created you for relationship with Me. Knowing Me is about so much more than a list of do’s and don’ts. It’s about more than work, projects, deadlines, and commissions. Yielding to the Flow

John 3:8 (TPT) For the Spirit-wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is within the hearts of those who are Spirit-born!”

Once I was in a prayer circle and the Father gave me an interesting vision about how the wind of His Spirit desires to move in the Body of Christ. As we stood praying, I saw a field of wheat and saw the Spirit-wind blowing through the stalks. As much as I saw it, I also sensed each one of us in that prayer circle was a stalk of wheat. In the natural, I sensed a slight resistance to the movement of the Spirit-wind, individually and corporately. The wind was blowing gently, and yet the Father reflected that our resistance in the flesh stemmed from fear.  Continue reading “Yielding to the Flow”

Surrender Out of Love, Not Fear

1 John 4:18 (TPT) Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.

Beloved, I would much rather you be moved to surrender out of your love for Me than by fear. You are safe with Me, and I never ask you to do anything that will not be of benefit to you. Yes, sometimes what I ask of you may be hard, and yes, I may stretch you. But I am not here to force My will upon you or arrogantly flaunt My power—love never demands or seeks its own way.
