I AM the Waymaker

Isaiah 43:16 (TLB) I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a path right through the sea.

Beloved, I AM the Waymaker. You need not be concerned as to how or why, just know I AM. In times of trouble, look to Me. As you do – as your faith and trust in Me is made evident in your actions and your praise – I AM lifted up. Like a standard of victory before a contending army, I AM YHVH Nissi. I AM the Lord your banner. Who can stand against Me?

I AM the Lord of the breakthrough and the restorer of your souls. I jealously guard you and love you beyond your wildest imaginings. I AM good. Refuse to be discouraged. Refuse to be impressed with the attacks that the enemy launches, refuse him the praise of acknowledgment and fix your eyes on Me, the author and finisher of your faith. Unconditional Trust

Matthew 26:39 (TPT) Then he walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill your plan for me.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen him.

Beloved, refuse to try to contain Me or to put conditions on your trust in Me. I see what you do not and am weaving a greater picture together than the piece you are in. And yet your piece is precious to Me – each of My children are so important to Me – so know that I AM working all things together for good.

As you trust Me unconditionally, I will strengthen you. I will minister to you even with My angels for I AM keenly aware of your thoughts and needs. Put your faith in Me and leave it there. Trust without Expectations

Daniel 3:17-18 (NIV) If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. ”

Beloved, trust in Me and leave the outcome in My hands. Be expectant in Me without having expectations for specific results. For My ways are not your ways nor are My thoughts your thoughts, so My course of action may not make sense to you, but trust Me enough to know that even if you don’t “get” it and even if it isn’t what you thought or hoped for I AM always good.

Expect Me to be good without trying to mandate what that looks like. I AM the Righteous One, the Faithful God, trust Me to know what is best. Keep your heart in a place of gratitude and praise and be steadfast in it. Refuse to let circumstances shake or confuse you, and simply rest in Me. Continue reading “Trust without Expectations”

Find Your Rest in Me

Matthew 11:28 (GW) “Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.

Beloved, refuse to be needlessly weighed down, carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders – a burden you were not intended to endure. Choose instead to trust Me. I am mindful of all the details, so place your cares and concerns in My capable hands, and trust Me to carry the load.

Find your rest in Me. Worrying is fruitless, so choose instead to be steadfast in faithful reliance on the One who loves you, who created you, and who cares for you. I AM All you need. Find your strength in Me. Continue reading “Find Your Rest in Me”

Choose to Value Life

Proverbs 6:16-17 (VOICE) Take note, there are six things the Eternal hates; no, make it seven He abhors…hands that shed innocent blood…

Beloved, life comes from Me. It is a gift. Do not be quick to judge it or place little value on it. Refuse to be tempted to believe one life is more valuable than another, for all life is precious in My eyes. I love My children – My beautiful creation – each created with a purpose and a call. Regardless of the scale of the call, each is vital to the tapestry I AM weaving. So choose to value life. Seek to find and support My purpose. Bless Without Reserve

Matthew 5:43-48 (TPT) …bless the one who curses you…

Beloved, refuse to retaliate in kind. Refuse to stoop to a level that diminishes your witness. Responding in love isn’t the same thing as receiving the curse they’ve spoken, it is simply choosing a higher path – My path.

So bless all you touch, including those who curse you or seek to do you harm. Ask Me to move in their lives. Ask Me to touch them and heal their hearts. Blessing someone isn’t you submitting yourself as a doormat, it is you refusing to shift into a negative mindset simply because someone else is. Operate in love and bless without reserve. Embrace Your Uniqueness

Psalm 139:14 (TPT) I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.

Beloved, resist the urge to compare yourself to others, for you have been uniquely made and if you use others as your guideposts, you will likely take yourself off track from My perfect will. Refuse to hold others up as the ideal to be achieved – only My Son should have that honor.

Instead seek Me, ask Me how you should live and who you should be. Beloved, your Creator knows you intimately, and I love every part of how I made you. You truly are fearfully and wonderfully made.

So own it. Embrace your unique makeup. You are a gift, created with intentionality and a purpose. Resist the urge to withhold that gift by hiding who you are. Refuse to believe the lie that different is somehow “wrong” and trust that I know what I’m doing. Beloved, you are beautiful and so loved. You are worth knowing. Shine without shame.

I Belong to You (Moments with God)

{He whispers to my heart} I belong to you.

{He pauses, waiting for that to penetrate. As I sit trying to really “get” it, He repeats Himself} I belong to you.

{Immediately the verse in Song of Solomon (which I have in Hebrew on my ring) comes to mind} “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” Such a seemingly basic message and yet after decades of following Him, still I struggle to know. Still I struggle to feel worthy. But He reminds me His love has nothing to do with whether or not I am worthy, it has to do with the fact that He chose me anyway – regardless of my human failings and imperfections – He chose me. Be a Fool For Me

1 Corinthians 12:7 (TPT) Each believer has received a gift that manifests the Spirit’s power and presence. That gift is given for the good of the whole community.

Beloved, allow My Spirit to empower you to operate in the supernatural. I have placed gifts within you for My glory, resist the urge to withhold them because of insecurity, doubt, or pride. Be a fool for Me. Withhold nothing. Allow My Spirit to flow like water over and through you.

Refuse to be sidetracked or derailed by comparisons or petty jealousy, I flow through each of you in a way that is unique and perfect for you. Drink Deeply

Beloved, I make Myself known to those who love Me. My handiwork surrounds you. Choose to have eyes to see, hearts that expect, and minds that believe. Encounter Me. Without air and water, you have no life, but beloved, I AM the life-giver, how much more vital is relationship with Me?
