The Desert is in Bloom

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV) He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

There is beauty and life blossoming within you, beloved, you just have to look for it. I know the state of your life has seemed so dry and barren for so long. But the past is the past and a glorious future is now upon you.

Know that the arid conditions of your wilderness have only caused you to cry out all the more for the abundant reign of My Presence in your life. You are not forsaken nor are you desolate, for you have responded to My passionate overtures with a blossoming passion of your own. In the midst of the wilderness, you have found your delight in Me. You have stretched your roots out and have indeed found the water and source of all life.

Yes, it is an enigma, how I bring beauty from ashes and death to life. Remember, how I formed man in My image and likeness out of the dust of the earth and how I breathed My Spirit upon him so he should live. Remember, how I breathed over the dry bones to bring the dead back to life. Nothing is too hard for Me. Now, I breathe over you, beloved, unleashing My Spirit of Life in abundant measure.

Look with My eyes now and see how you are blossoming. I make all things beautiful in their time, and all of heaven knows that now is your time to shine as My Bride. Know certainly that I long for you just as much as you long for Me. As a bridegroom waits with joy for his bride, so I wait with joyous expectation for our union. I am counting the moments until all will see that I Am yours and you are Mine!

Isaiah 62:4-5 (VOICE) People won’t talk about you anymore using words like “forsaken” or “empty.” Instead, you will be called “My delight” and the land around you “Married,” because the Eternal is pleased with you and has bound Himself to your land. As a young man marries the woman he loves, so your sons will marry you, Jerusalem. As a groom takes joy in his bride, so your God will take joy in you.
