Burn Like Holy Fire

Consuming Fire by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

That burning inside you is of Me.  I placed that flame inside you and the wind of the Holy Spirit fans it. Giving it strength when needed. The strength to stand up for injustice, to fight for one another. We are at war!  The things of this world and the things of Heaven.  The enemy would rather you be quiet and let your fire die down to tiny embers. I stoke the fires, I resurrect the dead things.

You are passionate and I created you to be this way.  Don’t apologize. Just press in when the flames ignite. Go into your intercession chambers, pick up the sword (My Word), and stand to do battle.  You may never know what your prayers do in that moment. Things unseen are taking place. My Word does not return void, it pierces the darkness. The best battles are the ones that are won as you get on your knees and pray.  Come to me with every and any problem. I am the Way maker.

At times you feel strong and courageous, ready to take on any obstacle. Stand and be there for one another. Then there are those moments you can’t seem to have the energy to stand for yourself let alone for anyone else. In those moments, you can be assured that I’ve called out the reserves. I will stand for you.  I am your Shield!

I call others to rally at your side. As Elisha’s servant, you may not have the vision to see how many are for you in that moment, but be assured I am for you, my Child.  I see all things, and I fight for you!  I am a protective Father.  I will not leave you.  I am working behind the scenes to bring all things to good.  Gather your strength in Me.

Remind yourself of who I am, my character.  Know who you are in Me.  Keep your fire ready, don’t let the pilot light go out. Build yourself up with My words. Prayer and intercession cause the flames to flicker and rise continually. How does a flame work? It rises upward to keep going, so rise upward and stay in the flow.  Be close to the Source, for you ignite and burn hotter if the Source is near.

2 Kings 6:15-17 (NKJV) And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “ Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord  opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Psalm 24:8 (CJB) Who is he, this glorious king? Adonai, strong and mighty, Adonai , mighty in battle.

Isaiah 41:10 (CJB) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with my victorious right hand.

Jeremiah 1:19 (CJB) They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you,” says Adonai, “to rescue you.”
