This is our Immanuel flag, which features our Catalyst to Intimacy silk. This flag is part of our “Names of God” Dyed4you Art flag line. Each of these flags features an image of a related Dyed4you silk, the word for which is included as part of the word that goes with this flag. Additionally, these flags are anointed with the same oils as the original silks.
The Hebrew lettering on this flag says “Immanuel,” which means “God with us.” This name comes from:
- Isaiah 7:14 (NKJV) [emphasis mine] Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
Though some people firmly believe in using one version of the various names over others, we use whichever one we feel led to given the circumstances. As “Immanuel” is the Hebrew spelling (versus the Romanized version of “Emmanuel”), that was what we felt led to use on this flag. Just as we see earthly parents and grandparents smile as their familial infants slaughter the pronunciation of their names, so we trust there will be grace extended to us in our usage. We believe the primary concern is that we are in fact calling on the names, and the fact that we are gives God much pleasure.
A Prophetic Nugget from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams is connected to this. It’s called “Immanuel (God with Us).”
Isaiah 7:14 (VOICE) …The Lord will give you a proof-sign anyway: See, a young maiden will conceive. She will give birth to a son and name Him Immanuel, that is, “God with us.”
Beloved, I AM with you always, for I AM YHVH Shammah – the Lord is present. And as a reminder of My presence, I sent My very own Son to dwell among you: Immanuel – a reminder that I (God) am with you.
Conceived of a virgin – an undeniable miracle that you might clearly see My hand at work, He is a reflection of My love made physically manifest that you might know Me more. My desire is for connection with you. Everything I do is to increase that depth of intimacy, for I love you. Never doubt, that you are Mine, beloved, but also remember I AM yours.
The name of the silk in this piece is Catalyst to Intimacy.
This has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s His Presence. People often want to come into the Lord’s presence without repentance. But the Lord is calling us to holiness. We are to establish His presence wherever we go – mark His territory – but we cannot do this if we have not repented and do not reflect His holiness. We must come before Him with clean hands and a clean heart. The scripture that goes with this is from Acts 3:19: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”
We pray it blesses you!
NOTE: If you’re wondering why I’ve shared this letter, I explain on my personal blog in a post called God Speaking Through Silk why I began sharing these on my personal blog. Later, I felt led to share some on the Dyed4you Ministries blog as well. So I share some here and some there (you can find the ones there in the silk words category).
