Complete Transformation

Painted Transformed Dyed4you Silk

Recently, God has been speaking to me about the lifecycle of a butterfly.  But let’s begin by looking at 2 Corinthians 5:17 (TPT), which reads, “Now if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Everything is fresh and new.”

God is speaking of COMPLETE transformation here. And this connects to the solid, amazing, life changing, invigorating truth that God revealed and astounded me with as I researched the butterfly process. This truth is so wonderful.  I never saw the depth of this amazingly beautiful yet grotesque and magnificently designed truth until I researched the butterfly and learned the details of its transformation story. Radiant Bride

There is a bridal gown – white and beautiful, covered in glittery jewels making it shine bright. And as I stand looking at it, I am struck with the thought, “how can I possibly wear this?” I feel so unworthy.  I feel the weight of shame from my past – innocence lost, mistakes made.  The loud voices saying “You are not enough.” Continue reading “Radiant Bride”

Our Weakness, God’s Strength

“Lamb of God ” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

2 Corinthians 12:9-11 (TPT) But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.

I must admit that there are times when I have viewed a picture of a lamb and cringed. It’s not because I dislike how they look. On the contrary, such gentle and innocent faces are precious. However, it has been hard for me to accept that such sweet creatures were God’s choice as a sacrifice. In just the same way, our sinless and meek Savior—the Lamb of God—was God’s choice to bring atonement for the world. Continue reading “Our Weakness, God’s Strength”

Come Out of the Box

“Dreaming and Rejoicing” by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

Beloved, come out of the box and come out of hiding. Come out of the trap of thoughts that keep you hidden in shame and fear. Refuse to let self-limiting mindsets restrict and contain you. For when you allow your insecurities to govern and control you, they also restrict the movement of My Spirit through you. Continue reading “Come Out of the Box”

Refuse to Believe the Lies

John 10:27 (AMP) The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.

Beloved, refuse to believe the lies that the enemy throws your way. You are Mine, and those who are Mine know My voice and they will not follow another’s. So pause as you listen, and  recognize who is speaking that you might rightly determine which words are of value and to which you should pay no heed.

For the enemy of your soul will always toss “thought bombs” at you like grenades. Their intention is to maim and destroy. Refuse to give them power by simply rejecting them as you identify their origin. Toss them out, beloved. Take every thought captive and make it submit to My truth.

Beloved, you know Me. You know My heart towards you is good. Refuse to believe anything less. Refuse to settle for anything less. Know that you are precious, prized, the apple of My eye – My heart’s desire. Know the truth of your identity as you rest in the cocoon of My love. Continue reading “Refuse to Believe the Lies”

Worth the Price

Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.

By design, I operate in the gift of mercy. However, I admit that the person I find it hardest to have mercy on is myself. Other than God, I alone know the depth of my sin. I know my record. I cringe when I see that the thoughts of my heart do not align with the heart of God. Unfortunately, harboring unforgiveness and contempt towards myself is a practiced behavior. Allow My Love to Lift You

“Currents of His Love {Air}” – by Meghan Williams, Dyed4you Art

2 Corinthians 12:9 (TPT) But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.

Beloved child, you know well that I am the source and giver of your life. Your life-path is designed to be challenging so that you will continually prosper in new levels of spiritual maturity. However, your life was never meant to be burdensome. Yes, as you are faithful with the little I will entrust you with more. And with each spiritual increase, the expansion that I set before you may seem overwhelming and, at times, far outside of your power to handle. However, I never give you more than you can handle when you are willing to draw upon the strength provided by My Spirit. Continue reading “Allow My Love to Lift You”

Fly with Me

2 Corinthians 5:17 (TPT) – Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.

Beloved, resist the urge to cling to old identities simply because they are familiar. Or to allow those around you to convince you that you are the same, for you are not. You are a new creation in Me. Step forth into the new you and refuse to be drawn back by others’ expectations.

A butterfly coming forth in all its glorious splendor has no trace of its caterpillar form, nor could it emulate it if it tried. Similarly, you have been radically transformed, beloved. You are made new. So fly with Me in the fullness of your newly transformed self.

Walk in Full Confidence

2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (AMP) For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which ascends] to God, [discernible both] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the latter one an aroma from death to death [a fatal, offensive odor], but to the other an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is adequate and sufficiently qualified for these things?

Beloved, resist the urge to be offended when those who don’t know Me taunt and tease you. Remember the fragrance of your life is an offering to Me, it need not appeal to them nor is it likely to.

Your light reminds them that they are in darkness, and no matter how much they may have grown accustomed to the dark, I have placed a desire in each heart for My light. The longing for it can cause a jealous desire they themselves may not even recognize.

So refuse to allow yourself to be influenced by the unkind words of those around you. Instead be firmly rooted in who I say you are and walk in full confidence in your identity as a precious child of Mine.  Continue reading “Walk in Full Confidence”

Rest In My Strength

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.

Beloved, I am your strength. I am the very power that sustains your life. My ability to sustain you is much more than physical, and it is always available for you to draw on. However, never is My keeping power more apparent than in times when you feel the weakest. Yes, times of trial can be humbling. Through them, you learn to draw on My strength day to day, and moment to moment when necessary. But I do not wish for you lose sight of this truth, for this is who I am to all the days of your life.
