When I have no words, please hear my heart,
For I know You hear every word through the tears that fall. Continue reading “Covered by Grace”
Moving at the Speed of Grace
{vision} I saw a sign on a road showing that the speed limit was 55. There was a blurred line through the middle of the 55, and I knew there were words printed there.
I saw this vision just before I opened my eyes one recent morning. I sensed this was a “sign” for the spiritual speed limit for my day. Immediately, I knew the “55” represented a multiplication of grace. I also recognized the words that I couldn’t read symbolized a “word” that God had for me through this vision. This word would bring clarity to a repeated message He had been speaking in the Spirit: “Slow down.” Continue reading “Moving at the Speed of Grace”
The Prodigal
I think about how I wandered far from You.
I didn’t want You to tell me what I should or shouldn’t do.
I clung to my sin and chose to live on my own accord.
The cost was more than I could ever afford.
So into the darkness is where I went. Continue reading “The Prodigal”
Leave a Legacy of Love
Proverbs 10:12 (NLT) Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses.
Beloved, choosing to love instead of taking offense is always the right decision. There will always be misunderstandings or people acting from a place of hurt, but how you respond speaks to your character. And as you choose to love, you clearly reflect Me and My heart.
In extending the grace you yourself want to receive, you’re leading by example. And being known for being gracious and loving is a testament of one who knows Me. And beloved, know that you’re leaving a legacy of love that will reach farther and last longer than you can begin to imagine. Continue reading “Leave a Legacy of Love”
Grace and New Growth
When you extend grace to yourself and toward others, you will have growth in your life. You will begin to grow. Grace is at the heart of the matter. All things flow out of grace. Be persistent to allow grace to freely flow through your speech, your actions and your thoughts. Continue reading “Grace and New Growth”
The Beauty in You
Song of Songs 4:1 (TPT) Listen, my dearest darling, you are so beautiful—you are beauty itself to me! Your eyes glisten with love, like gentle doves behind your veil. What devotion I see each time I gaze upon you. You are like a sacrifice ready to be offered.
My Bride, as much as possible, choose to see yourself the way that I see you. Let the words you speak and think towards yourself align with what I would say and think of you. I am not ashamed, disgusted, or displeased with you. You are My precious creation, in whom I find much delight. Continue reading “The Beauty in You”
Yield to My Love
Romans 8:1, 2 (TPT) So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.
Beloved, be vigilant in keeping the door closed to condemnation. Resist even the seemingly small thoughts that are not aligned with My thoughts towards you, those that would cause you to wear the old garb of guilt and shame. The price has been fully paid for your redemption. By the blood of the Lamb, you are forgiven and the way has been made for you to walk in freedom and deliverance. Continue reading “Yield to My Love”
Worth the Price
Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.
By design, I operate in the gift of mercy. However, I admit that the person I find it hardest to have mercy on is myself. Other than God, I alone know the depth of my sin. I know my record. I cringe when I see that the thoughts of my heart do not align with the heart of God. Unfortunately, harboring unforgiveness and contempt towards myself is a practiced behavior. Continue reading “Worth the Price”
Allow My Love to Lift You
2 Corinthians 12:9 (TPT) But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.
Beloved child, you know well that I am the source and giver of your life. Your life-path is designed to be challenging so that you will continually prosper in new levels of spiritual maturity. However, your life was never meant to be burdensome. Yes, as you are faithful with the little I will entrust you with more. And with each spiritual increase, the expansion that I set before you may seem overwhelming and, at times, far outside of your power to handle. However, I never give you more than you can handle when you are willing to draw upon the strength provided by My Spirit. Continue reading “Allow My Love to Lift You”
Extend Forgiveness
Matthew 6:12 (KJV) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Beloved, be known as some who extends much grace and who forgives quickly. In doing so, you reflect My heart to the world around you, and you leave no room for bitterness and resentment to take root.
You have been forgiven much. I hold no record of wrongs though My memory is more expansive and accurate than anyone’s. So follow My example, beloved, and release those who wrong or slight you into My capable hands. Trust Me to act rightly, for I AM the righteous judge. Continue reading “Extend Forgiveness”
