Be Consumed By Me

Hebrews 12:28-29 (NKJV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

Beloved, remember there is no fear in love for perfect love casts out fear. You have had encounters with My heart, brushes with My Presence, and you have known times of sweet unity as My Spirit has poured through you like water. Yes, My love is overwhelming—both refreshing, living waters and an all-consuming fire. And that love for you never changes in its intensity. It is only the fear of losing yourself and being changed as you are swept away by My love that causes you to hold back and causes you to hesitate in reciprocating My love in kind. Redeemed and Set Free

Romans 5:8 (TPT) But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!

Beloved, My love for you is not in doubt. It has been clearly demonstrated that you might have no cause to question. So resist the urge to push against the truth that I find you worthy. Worthy of life at the cost of death. Worthy. 

You didn’t have to do anything to curry My favor. You simply are – and what you are is precious to Me. Embrace My gift. Beloved, you have been redeemed. Walk as one who has been set free, for you are free indeed.

Covenant Partnership

Deuteronomy 7:9 (VOICE) I want you to know that the Eternal your God is the only true God. He’s the faithful God who keeps His covenants and shows loyal love for a thousand generations to those who in return love Him and keep His commands.

As I have walked with God, there have been numerous times when He reaffirms His personal promises to me. When He does this, it is always in a time when my hope in those promises needs some resuscitation. God is so gracious. He knows how hard it is for us to hang onto His promises through the storms of life. He sees all and knows with certainty that His plan for us is good and well worth the wait. But God also knows that we desperately need His strength to hold onto His Word. As difficult as waiting on God can be at times, I have to say that I am always challenged and changed as God reveals Himself to me throughout the waiting process. Worthy of Rescue

Romans 5:8 (VOICE) But think about this: while we were wasting our lives in sin, God revealed His powerful love to us in a tangible display —the Anointed One died for us.

Worthy. Beloved, I declare you worthy. I don’t waste the power of My love, but rather I give it freely to those I deem worthy. I see hearts, and know innermost thoughts. I know the trials and tribulations that form wounds, and the hope deferred that causes bitterness. I see through to the way that I formed each of you, and count you worthy. 

I count you worthy of rescue. Worthy of redemption. Worthy of salvation. Reach out and grab hold. Freedom is in your grasp. Take hold and refuse to give it up. I have paid the price to set you free, refuse to let it be wasted. My tangible display of love – a banner for you to run to to be set free.

More Like Me

Romans 12:2 (TPT) …be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

Beloved, surrender your thoughts to Mine. Trust My perspective and trust Me to bring truth, for I AM truth. Allow My Holy Spirit to align your thoughts to Mine – make My views and beliefs your own, for Mine are rooted in truth. For I see and I understand. 

Resist the urge to allow your personal experiences to cloud your understanding of truth. Often the words and actions of those around you reflect a perspective based in falsehood. Simply because it is reflected does not make it true. 

So look to Me to bring truth and clarity, and then believe what I tell you. When I say you are beautiful and loved and precious, those things are fact regardless of whether others have reflected those truths to you accurately. So fix your gaze on Me, and allow Me to transform your mind by helping you be more like Me.  Continue reading “More Like Me”

Draw Upon Your Inheritance

James 1:17 (TPT) Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.

My children, there is a day that comes when I call each of you to put away the ways of childhood and to step into full maturity and your inheritance as sons of God. As My sons, I have provided the finest robes for you—My very own robes. Light is My garment and so, you too will be arrayed in the light of My glory, My very nature. Clothed as My royal heirs, walk the land as My Firstborn Son walked. Shine as the light of the world, and utterly drive out the darkness that is before you. Bringing Forth Abundant Life

Romans 12:2 (VOICE) Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

Beloved, feel My breath of life speaking over you – changing you, bringing radical transformation as you blossom and flourish. How dramatic a change is seen between a flowering tree in autumn versus spring. 

In the same way, beloved, don’t concern yourself with the areas that may seem dry and barren now because as you continue to maintain steadfast focus on Me and My Spirit, I will bring forth abundant life.  Continue reading “Bringing Forth Abundant Life”

Nothing Can Separate You From My Love

Romans 8:38-39 (VOICE) For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.

Beloved, nothing can separate you from My love. I AM steadfast and immovable – bedrock, a firm foundation for you. No shortcoming or poor choice will scare Me off or cause Me to turn away. I AM relentless in My love for you. 

I will not slumber and I do not sleep. My exquisite longing for you is unending. Breathe Me in, beloved. Clutch Me tightly to your chest. Refuse to allow anyone or anything to cause separation between us. I AM yours, beloved, and you are Mine.

Carrier of My Presence

Romans 8:11 (VOICE) If the Spirit of the One who resurrected Jesus from the dead lives inside of you, then you can be sure that He who raised Him will cast the light of life into your mortal bodies through the life-giving power of the Spirit residing in you.

Beloved, if you belong to Me, My Spirit  dwells within you, and you are a carrier of My presence. This is no light task, but a precious responsibility, for you have been radically redeemed. Many of those around you need a touch from heaven, and you carry within you the living Spirit of the One they need. Your role is to facilitate connection. 

Walk in compassion for those who don’t yet know Me, remembering how you once were in that darkness too. Live a life that radiates the joyful light now within you that others may be drawn to Me simply by knowing you.

Satisfying Hope

Romans 5:5 (VOICE) And hope will never fail to satisfy our deepest need because the Holy Spirit that was given to us has flooded our hearts with God’s love.

Beloved, stand fast in hope, for I AM your hope. I AM your joy. I AM the life that brings forth more life. Press into Me. Allow Me to saturate you in My love, for in perfect love there is no fear.

No fear that I will let you down, even though your hope is stretched thin. No fear that you are unimportant or beyond My notice; you know how precious you are to Me. No fear because you hope – standing in ready expectation – because you believe.

You know who I AM and who you are to Me. You are Mine, and you hope in Me. And that hope satisfies your deepest needs. Be satisfied in Me.
