The scripture connected to this is 2 Kings 6:14-18 (TLB) So one night the king of Syria sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city. When the prophet’s servant got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Alas, my master, what shall we do now?” he cried out to Elisha. “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For our army is bigger than theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes so that he could see horses of fire and chariots of fire everywhere upon the mountain! As the Syrian army advanced upon them, Elisha prayed, “Lord, please make them blind.” And he did.

Beloved, remain in a state of vigilant sobriety with both your natural and spiritual eyes wide open to see accurately as events unfold. Time is short, and the battle grows fierce. Love, truth, and peace are your strongest weapons. Use them often and use them well. Stand fast and refuse to let the enemy shift your perception of yourself, others, or the circumstances around you. Only My view matters. So ask Me.

Beloved, resist the urge to be sidetracked or to lose focus. I have given you purpose and a call, and behold it is good and worthy – worthy of your time, attention, and focus. So keep your gaze fixed, not looking to the left or to the right, and not wasting time looking back – for I AM your rear guard and I go before you, there is nothing to fear.

The cares of this world may try to draw you in through worry and fear, and the temptations of this world will seek to lull you into complacency, but you know – you know, beloved – that time is short. So be sober and singleminded in purpose. Expand the Kingdom and make My name great.

The Lord says “Focus. Focus your gaze on me. Focus on who I am; on my word and my presence. I am with you, and I am for you and all you require in your day comes from me. So even now, focus your internal gaze on me. I am your constant one; I am with you in the highs and lows of life and your days. I will not leave you bereft at this moment or the next. Fix your gaze and focus. I am all you need. Quieten your inner turmoil. Breathe in my peace and receive it at this moment. Focus on me. I am all you need.”

As you worship and pray with this silk, you are not only coming into agreement with this word over yourself, but declaring it in the heavenlies over those around you. This word is more than just about “glancing” at something. This is a seeing that has depth and insight – revelation. “Seeing” is a type of prophetic revelation and a “Seer” is one who functions in that gifting.”

With my mighty word I sustain the universe. My word is eternal and nothing can stop it. But I say to you my children, “What have you done with my word?” Have you treasured it in your heart (Psalm 119:11)? Many are cut down and bent low under the weight of sickness, accusation and doubt. They have let their sword fall and can no longer fight and await one who would rescue them, yet they do not realise that the answer is in their hands – the sword which is my word.

So what are you doing with my word, my chosen one? Do you have your sword at the ready to cut down every accusation and suggestion of the enemy? Become a master swordsman. Treasure my word in your heart and you will overcome every attack and suggestion of the enemy. Lift my word high in your life and see what happens.

Beloved, if you would wield the sword of My Spirit, you must know My word. There are so many things that clamor for your attention as My word waits – unchanging and available – for you to feast. Choose to make the time. Choose to know Me – My heart, My ways, My instructions for you – for they are to protect you and bring you blessing and goodness in your life – My word is worth knowing.

The more of My word that is hidden in your heart, the stronger and more prepared you are to do battle against the enemy of your soul when he brings his onslaught. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I come to give you strength. The enemy will often twist My word, and just as when My Son was tempted in the wilderness and He refuted those lies with Truth – with the Word, so you must be equipped to do the same.

For it is not a question of IF the enemy will lie and twist truths, it is a matter of WHEN. Do not be found defenseless and weak, but rather prepare. Just as a lawyer spends time building his knowledgebase so he can make the arguments in court to win the day, likewise spend the time every day to build your arsenal and your strength. Again beloved, My word is worth knowing – I AM worth knowing.

My Word in you is like a fire, says the LORD. My Word is Like a hammer and a two-edged sword proceeding out of your mouth. With My word, you will cut the heads of demons off. You will Cut off the heads of the giants. You will set on fire the works of the enemy and burn them to nothing. My Word in you cannot be constrained and you will be a mouthpiece that speaks My powerful Word. My Word and My Work and My will are the same. I will direct you by My Spirit within you. My Word will be unto you a lamp onto your feet and a light onto your path. It will burn up the obstacles and incinerate the weapons of darkness. It will defeat the dark one and his cohorts. My Word is light and life and you will be as I Am, light and My live in you will bring life to others. My light in you will become brighter and brighter. It will put out darkness and defeat the enemy. You will be as a city that is set on a hill that cannot be hid, says the LORD.

I have you and I AM in you, the living one, the consuming One, the powerful One, the Holy One, says the LORD. Be aware of My power and glory and light and life that I have put within and release it so that it is all around you. For I cannot be out-powered and I have given you MY WORD and counsel that will direct your steps in righteousness and holiness. BE SEPARATE onto ME and do not mix the things of darkness with the light of My glory. Do not wash out the fire that is within you says the LORD. For the words of man will fade away, but My word endures forever. I Am forever the LIVING WORD and My counsel is supreme. I will direct your steps in holiness and righteousness and you will walk on the path of the redeemed, says the LORD.

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Sword of the Spirit, which is used in spiritual warfare and for consecrating something for use in spiritual warfare (like the knighting process). The scriptures that go with this anointing oil are:

Ephesians 6:17 (NKJV) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

The deeper meaning reads, “Some of the oils in this blend were specifically chosen for their cleansing properties. In scripture, warfare was often used to cleanse. And in a spiritual sense, it will “cleanse” the enemy from an area or person. In the same way that a sword will be touched to both shoulders in the knighting process, this oil (sword of the Spirit) is also used to “knight” or consecrate people or things (e.g. flags or other weapons of spiritual warfare) for use in battle.”
