You’re the Daughter of the King!
I had this dream a few years ago before the phrase “Daughter Of The King” meant anything to me. I felt the phrase was a cliche and it annoyed me (needless to say I had identity issues)… until I had this dream in the middle of a 15 day water-only fast. I was under the most intense spiritual attack of my life by a spirit of fear/torment. I had forgotten who I truly was in Christ. Continue reading “You’re the Daughter of the King!”
The Place of Preparation
We may not always expect our place of preparation to be a pit as it was for Joseph (starting in Genesis 37), but such was certainly the case for me in my walk. Something my son Jonathan said to me some time ago comes to my mind a lot. When I spoke of how God seemed to use me more than I would have expected when I was in the pit, Jonathan’s reply was,“To you, it was a pit, but to God it was a place of preparation.” Continue reading “The Place of Preparation”
Guard Your Wellspring
Beloved, you are called to be a conduit. Remember that as God pours out, you receive, and then in turn you pour out to others around you. Therefore, it is vital to bear in mind the state of your vessel. For its condition will flavor all that which you pour forth. Just as the flavor water takes when poured from glass, metal, and plastic are each different, so His flow pouring through you will take on your “flavor.” Continue reading “Guard Your Wellspring”
Mantle of the Firstborn
John 5:19 (VOICE) Jesus: The truth is that the Son does nothing on His own; all these actions are led by the Father. The Son watches the Father closely and then mimics the work of the Father.
My child, you are one that faithfully follows in My footsteps. As a child who delights in mimicking the actions of their father, you have also delighted in closely watching and keeping My ways. It fills My heart with such joy to see that you love the things that I love and have matured into My image and likeness as a result. You dwell in childlike faith, trust, and innocence, so much so that you often do not see just how much of Me there is in you. In you, child, I am well pleased. The Way of Righteousness
John 14 stands as an important reminder for those who are followers of Yeshua (Jesus): we can show our love for our Bridegroom best by keeping His commandments. Doing so will not only stir up Christ’s love for us, but the Father will love us as well (John 14:21). From this perspective, one could say that “righteousness” is God’s love language! Spring of Hope
John 4:13-14 (NKJV) Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
There is a saying that goes, “Hope springs eternal.” As someone who battled the darkness of depression for over ten years, I once struggled to believe that such a thing was true. Anyone who has faced depression knows that hopelessness is a key component in that battle. Wounds of the past can cast such shadows on our path, that it can be hard to imagine and hope for better experiences in life. Continue reading “Spring of Hope”
New Life is Bursting Forth
Beloved, refuse to resist the “prescribed burns” of My holy fire. In the same way that farmers will burn their fields to the ground to encourage enriched regrowth, so will I bring what appears to be brutal devastation for the purpose of bringing forth new life. This seeming destruction may feel at odds with My character, which you know to be good, but when you embrace the fiery season, it becomes more life-giving than you could begin to imagine. You Were Born for Greater Works
In Christ, you are destined for great things. We have a blessed hope and expectation to, at minimum, walk in the power and authority that Christ walked in upon the earth. But today, God is stirring us to reach even higher. Let us remember, we were born for greater works than our Savior displayed because He went to the Father. Christ is in heavenly places, cheering us on, and calling us to arise in the fullness of our calling as His Body.
So shake off every limitation that is holding you back. Trample upon the mindsets that tell you that you’re not good enough or will never amount to much. Arise, shine, and let the Kingdom of Heaven be released through you.
John 14:12 (VOICE) I tell you the truth: whoever believes in Me will be able to do what I have done, but they will do even greater things, because I will return to be with the Father. I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.
I Am With You
Be watchful, beloved. Take a look at what’s around you. Notice the things that I have placed within your gaze. For they are as road signs and as a map to you. You may think it strange that I can speak through your environment or circumstances as much as I speak through My Word. However, I desire that you would come to a greater awareness of Who I Am and come to see My continual presence and power in your life. I would have you see what it means to abide in Me and I in you. For through My Spirit, which is in you, I am able to quicken your attention to the mundane and give you wisdom and insight moment by moment. Continue reading “I Am With You”
