Speak Life (Ezekiel 37)

James 3:9-11 (VOICE) Ironically this same tongue can be both an instrument of blessing to our Lord and Father and a weapon that hurls curses upon others who are created in God’s own image. One mouth streams forth both blessings and curses. My brothers and sisters, this is not how it should be. Does a spring gush crystal clear freshwater and moments later spurt out bitter salt water?

Beloved, would you be a vessel for darkness? And yet the temptation to speak the things of darkness into existence is strong, but you are stronger. So refuse to give in to bitterness and anger, jealousy and hatred, greed and destruction. Look to the root that wants to bear such fruit and invite Me to move. Then as you trust My sovereignty, watch as I bring forth beauty from ashes and give joy for mourning. Continue reading “Speak Life (Ezekiel 37)”

New Life is Bursting Forth

Beloved, refuse to resist the “prescribed burns” of My holy fire. In the same way that farmers will burn their fields to the ground to encourage enriched regrowth, so will I bring what appears to be brutal devastation for the purpose of bringing forth new life. This seeming destruction may feel at odds with My character, which you know to be good, but when you embrace the fiery season, it becomes more life-giving than you could begin to imagine. Blessing from Obedience

When you yield yourself to be My vessel, it ministers not only to the one you pour out to, but to you as well. So pour out from your overflow with generosity and wisdom. Trust My direction on when to speak and when to be silent. Resist the urge to defend that which I have given you to say, instead allowing My words to stand on their own. For I will not beg for someone to believe Me, nor will I pressure them to take action on My counsel.  Continue reading “Blessing from Obedience”

Kingdom Child

Mark 10:14-15 (AMP) But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and He said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

God loves those who are childlike, full of faith and trust and filled with the light of His love and life. They don’t allow the lies of the enemy to shut them down. They turn their gaze on their Abba Daddy, King of the Universe, and their Shepherd, knowing He guards and protects them, and they move forward into all God has. These Kingdom children know that God delights in their exuberance and passion and play. They know He leads them and protects them, guarding their path and enabling their joyful, playful light of life to come forth and shine – making way for those who have been crushed in spirit to return to Abba Daddy and be restored into their joy-filled, passionate purpose once again. Our Lion Shepherd

Peaceable Kingdom by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art piece

Our Lion Shepherd looks after the sheep. The Father takes care of each one. He is gentle with us, but in an instant, our fierce Lion Shepherd can come out and roar over any who threaten His sheep.

He is protective of His flock with His eyes ever watchful. He guides us along the path of life. And as the path gets hard, He never leaves us. He gives true rest by the refreshing of His stream, nourishing our parched areas. He gives out daily blessings. May we always be grateful for His grace and kindness. He is a true shepherd tending His sheep. Continue reading “Our Lion Shepherd”

His Banner Over Me is Love

{Dream} A tall lean woman with long brown hair down her back fighting against a whipping wind to erect a banner flag on a make shift pole out of a crooked long piece of wood. The banner has the colors of purple and turquoise. There is a tree in the middle that with a closer look are made out of peacock feathers. The phrase running through my head as she is raising this banner is “His Banner Over Me is Love.” The environment gives the sense of a war torn land. It’s dark with the wind whipping like there is a storm yet there is almost a glow of that purple and turquoise that are being reflected from the flag.  Continue reading “His Banner Over Me is Love”
