Be a Child Again

Remember when you were a child and the whole world was filled with amazing new things to explore. To touch, see and hear new things. You had no fears then, you would climb trees and ride your bike downhill very fast and you were not afraid.  You were amazed at the smallest thing, an ant hill, a butterfly, a puddle was your delight. Step Out of the Boat

Matthew 14:27 (TPT) Then Jesus said, “Be brave and don’t be afraid. I am here!”

Beloved, resist the urge to succumb to fear, for I AM always with you. Shore up your courage, and trust in Me. Take My hand and step out of the boat – step out of your safe and familiar circumstances, and trust that though you walk into the unknown (and sometimes even seemingly impossible), I AM strengthening you with My right hand of power.

I have you in My grip and will never let you go. Keep your eyes on Me, and move ahead. Withstand the onslaught of fear, and refuse to cower in the face of challenges. Persevere with Holy Spirit empowered strength, and step into all I have for you. Behold I AM calling, beloved. Step out of the boat. Continue reading “Step Out of the Boat”

Wings of Faith

Matthew 14:27-29 (AMPC) But instantly He spoke to them, saying, Take courage! I Am! Stop being afraid! And Peter answered Him, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus.

My child, remember that courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the choice you make to move in accordance with My guiding in spite of your fears. Do not fret if your heart still trembles as you take bold steps in the direction I call you. Like a muscle that becomes strengthened through constant resistance training, so your confidence will be built through repeated resistance of fear. Fear will lose its hold as you repeatedly make the choice to trust Me. Continue reading “Wings of Faith”

Joyful Praise

Praise Me from the very depths of you, down in your innermost area. Praise when you don’t feel like it and when it’s hard to do. Such moments of praise arise to the next level for, as your Father, I know that it is truly a sacrifice of praise.

Let your whole being—your body, soul, and spirit—come into one and praise Me. Let your praise bubble from the well that is deep within you, and let it come out like an explosion. Let it be as a symphony to the King, your King!   Continue reading “Joyful Praise”

Have Faith in My Path

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

When I set you on a path, beloved, remember that I am there with you to see My plans through. All that is required on your part is to walk in the power of your faith in Me. At times, you may find the journey to be difficult because you cannot see all the details of My plan. I have given you the destination, yet I alone know all the twists and turns in your journey. Walk along this course being certain that you will see My goodness. I urge you to yield your expectations over the details to Me. Instead, adopt an attitude of childlike wonder over this adventure. By doing so, you will be able to maintain your peace and security in Me. Continue reading “Have Faith in My Path”

Be Bold in the Holy Spirit

Acts 4:13 (TPT) The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courage of Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

Beloved, boldness doesn’t have to come from training or education. Boldness can come from firm and unwavering belief. True faith doesn’t come from unquestionable physical evidence, for where would faith be in simple fact? To exercise faith is to be confident in what is understood through less tangible means.

So rather than waiting for irrefutable evidence or certain levels of education, instead allow yourself to be bold in the Holy Spirit. Allow Me to lead and direct you – often in ways you’d never expect, and see how I move in and through you for My glory. That, beloved, is true faith – being wholly yielded to Me. The Beauty in You

“Priceless Beauty” – by Elisa Eaton

Song of Songs 4:1 (TPT) Listen, my dearest darling, you are so beautiful—you are beauty itself to me! Your eyes glisten with love, like gentle doves behind your veil. What devotion I see each time I gaze upon you. You are like a sacrifice ready to be offered.

My Bride, as much as possible, choose to see yourself the way that I see you. Let the words you speak and think towards yourself align with what I would say and think of you. I am not ashamed, disgusted, or displeased with you. You are My precious creation, in whom I find much delight.  Continue reading “The Beauty in You”

The Invitation

{feeling and sensing} a thick weightiness – like someone placing a blanket around you, but placing it from back to front so it drapes over you!  But it’s not a blanket – it feels warm and light at the same time – like you are safe and surrounded. It is not like a demanding pressure trying to hold you down, but more like a newborn babe who is swaddled. You instantly know you are very safe and secure. It is love straight from the Father directly aimed at you.  It’s so pure and heavy but at the same time light as a feather – and you wonder how is that even possible but you know it’s both of these things. At times it pours over you from the top of your head down your body – like a liquid honey, but so much more than that. It doesn’t leave you sticky and messy, but filled with such overwhelming love.  You would love to just stay in this place forever.   Continue reading “The Invitation”

Details

I am in the details. I know all about you and every need. Why do you not think I would want you to come to me for any and every issue you may have? Even the little ones that seem insignificant to you, they are all important to me. Every hair on your head is numbered. I so do care about you and every situation you face. Bring them all to me, the big ones and the little ones. No one thing is too small or too hard for me to do. Is there anything too hard for me? I am Lord who created all things, and I am in the details of your life. You are important to me, and I desire you to seek My face on everything that affects you to the smallest detail. Give it all to me and watch me work.  Continue reading “Details”
