I admit that I have often struggled to find a balance between keeping my feet on the ground and having my head in the clouds—keeping my thoughts in the heavens that is. I always thought that “looking up” meant continuing to looking forward to Christ’s reign. Someday, Christ would return. Someday, the Kingdom would come, and the earth would be restored. All the while, the daily demands and desires of the flesh kept me miserably rooted to the earth moment by moment. How could I practically pursue heavenly things while still in the flesh? This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of four Prophetic Nuggets based on Running the Race (Philippians 3).
Philippians 3:12-16 (TPT) I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.
The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Run with Persistence.”
Philippians 3:12 (TPT) I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover.
Beloved, run the race with passion. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. And yet as you seek excellence, extend grace to yourself when you fall short. Far better to dust yourself off and move forward, than to get waylaid by frustration and condemnation.
It is by grace that you are saved, and for love you give your best. Celebrate each step along the way, for the trials and the victories all serve a purpose. So run the race with excellence, but even more so, run with persistence.
The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Steadfastly Onward.”
Philippians 3:13 (TPT) I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.
Beloved, remember that you do not run alone. I AM YHVH Shammah – the Lord is present, and I AM with you through it all. Resist the urge to rely on your own strength, and instead lean on Me. For I AM fully able to support you through every test and trial.
Keep your eyes fixed on Me, and your focus on what’s ahead. Refuse to be distracted by disappointments or the things of old. Instead move steadfastly onward as you walk hand-in-hand with Me. Trust Me to guide and uphold you as you remain focused on the path ahead.
The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Intentional Focus.”
Philippians 3:14 (TPT) I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.
Beloved, be singularly focused on your eternal prize. For as you focus on that destination, your journey will align to the best path. Refuse to be distracted by obstacles that seem to hinder your way. For what you focus on, you make room for. So be intentional to focus on the goal ahead rather than that which will lead you astray.
As the eyes of your heart stay fixed, your footsteps will not wander. So may your journey be steady and steadfast, and may your gaze be ever true.
The fourth Prophetic Nugget is called “Simply Walk.”
Philippians 3:15-16 (TPT) So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.
Beloved, the steadfastness of your purpose marks your maturity. For a child’s attention is constantly fluttering from one experiential feast to the next, but the one who has grown and learned life’s lessons knows it is often the things most easily overlooked that benefit from our attention.
Yield your plans to Me and continue on with purpose. Remember your walk with Me is more like a marathon than a sprint. Though your zeal may entice you to do and see and experience everything at once, therein lies the way to burnout. Rather be steady and yield the pace to Me. Allowing Me to bring each revelation and experience in exactly the right moment. So be steadfast, beloved, and simply walk with Me in love.
This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of three Prophetic Nuggets based on Psalm 149:4-6 (TPT):
For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty and he loves to give them the victory. His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep. God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!
The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Humble and Yielded.”
Psalm 149:4 (TPT) For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty and he loves to give them the victory.
Beloved, I delight to bring victory to those who rejoice in Me. It gives Me immense pleasure to bestow such blessings on those who have held nothing back. Love Me lavishly, sweet one, and without agenda – simply love because I loved you first.
Focus your heart on Me, and leave the battle plans to Me. Your role is humility – eyes and heart fixed on Me; My role is to be God and all that encompasses including knowing what is best for My children and leading them in that path as they yield. I have you, beloved.
The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Praises Rise.”
Psalm 149:5 (TPT) His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep.
Beloved, let your praises rise. Let them rise both in triumph and in the expectation of it. Let it rise at all times. Your steadfast, joyful praise is an audible banner lifted high – a clear reminder to all of Who I AM: I AM God, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One, and I reign.
Refuse to be silent. Refuse to be distracted. Let your joyful praise come forth like refreshing waters encouraging yourself and all those around you. You know who you are because you know Who I AM. Walk boldly in your identity as a child of Mine.
The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Steadfast Praise.”
Psalm 149:6 (TPT) God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!
Beloved, as your praises rise, things begin to shift. As your praises rise, mountains begin to move. Just as a drip of water can change the face of a rock over time, never underestimate the power of your steadfast praise.
Stay equipped. Hide the word in your heart and raise a banner or lift your voice high or dance before Me, beloved, but do something. Allow the fruit of your faith to pour forth from your heart.
Your praise changes things. It shifts the atmosphere. It is powerful because I inhabit the praises of My people and I AM mighty beyond expectation or description. So be steadfast in your praise.
I am startled out of a deep slumber by the sound of banging. At first I am afraid but then curiosity gets the best of me. I get out of bed and notice the whole house is so lifeless, old and dark. The only light is from the moon as it shines through the windows. There is little light to guide me as I make my way toward the sound that awoke me. I can see well enough to make out an open door at the end of the hall. As I approach the door I realize that’s where the banging is coming from. The room is completely empty. As I enter the room I can see a figure banging on the wall with bare hands like they are trying to break through. Continue reading “Complete Surrender”

Beloved, refuse to resist the “prescribed burns” of My holy fire. In the same way that farmers will burn their fields to the ground to encourage enriched regrowth, so will I bring what appears to be brutal devastation for the purpose of bringing forth new life. This seeming destruction may feel at odds with My character, which you know to be good, but when you embrace the fiery season, it becomes more life-giving than you could begin to imagine. Many years back, a prophet named Richard Knight shared an analogy about operating in the prophetic that was so profound it has stuck with me a decade and a half later. He likened operating in the prophetic to being a postman. It’s our job to deliver the message – that’s it. The postman isn’t responsible for making sure bills are paid. They aren’t on the hook for ensuring RSVPs are sent out. They aren’t even responsible for making sure mail is retrieved from the mailbox. They simply deliver it. The Lord is saying that He has planted in you the gift of wisdom. Receive His gift and allow it to flow freely. Like a cork being pulled from a bottle, you’ve been released to flow in increased measure. So pour out, beloved. Pour out in humble obedience. Resist the urge to feel selfconscious, instead choose to focus on the One who has bestowed that which you pour. Continue reading “Word of Wisdom – Simply Pour”
Psalm 77:1 (VOICE) I cry up to heaven, “My God, True God,” and He hears.
Beloved, when you cry out to Me, I always hear. No matter where you are or what you’ve done, I AM always listening. I do not turn a deaf ear to you in punishment or neglect. Those who know Me know that does not align with My character.
Just as an earthly parent uses wisdom in granting their children’s requests, so do I. In the moments I don’t respond the way you expected, know that is not a sign of My neglect, but rather of your inappropriate expectations. I’m not a genie in a bottle to call and command, so be sure that is not your expectation.
What I AM is El Chai – the Living God, and I love My children, and am mindful of their needs and their cries – of all things concerning them. So know that I AM present and listening. I will never leave you nor forsake you. So cry out to Me, beloved, for I AM listening.
