Psalms 47:1, 7 Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy…Sing praise and understand.

As I was pondering how praising God fits with a lesson on atonement, it occurred to me that praise really is a vehicle for feeling that sense of oneness with God. I don’t know if it’s the same for you, but I generally feel my deepest sense of connection to the Holy Spirit through singing songs of praise and worship. It gets me out of my head and into my heart. Yield to My Love

Romans 8:1, 2 (TPT) So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. 

Beloved, be vigilant in keeping the door closed to condemnation. Resist even the seemingly small thoughts that are not aligned with My thoughts towards you, those that would cause you to wear the old garb of guilt and shame. The price has been fully paid for your redemption. By the blood of the Lamb, you are forgiven and the way has been made for you to walk in freedom and deliverance. Continue reading “Yield to My Love”
