God of Compassion (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

“God of Compassion (El Rachum)” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

This is a series of Prophetic Nuggets from “Daily Downloads from Heaven” by Meghan Williams that are connected by scripture / theme. It is a series of three Prophetic Nuggets based on 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (VOICE):

All praise goes to God, Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. He is the Father of compassion, the God of all comfort. He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles. For even as His suffering continues to flood over us, through the Anointed we experience the wealth of His comfort just the same.

The first Prophetic Nugget is called “Elohei khol-Nechamah (God of all Comfort).”

2 Corinthians 1:3 (VOICE) All praise goes to God, Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. He is the Father of compassion, the God of all comfort.

Beloved, I AM Elohei khol-Nechamah -God of all Comfort, so trust your heart to Me. I AM keenly aware of the troubles that try you, and I remain by your side – sustaining you – through them all.

So be at peace. Quiet your soul. Trust that the afflictions of this world will pass, but My love remains steadfast and true. Let My love uplift you and carry you as on eagles wings. Let My hand guide you, and let My Spirit comfort you.

The second Prophetic Nugget is called “Find Fellowship with Me.

2 Corinthians 1:4 (VOICE) He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles.

Beloved, in the midst of pain, I AM still with you. No hardship will scare Me away. I will use each one to grow you and strengthen your character, if you will yield to Me. Draw comfort from Me. You are not alone.

And remember as you endure the sufferings, that I have endured them as well. And when you encounter betrayal, remember I have encountered it as well. And when you’re ridiculed, misjudged, and persecuted – remember, beloved, I have been too. So draw close to Me, and in the midst of trial, find fellowship with Me.

The third Prophetic Nugget is called “Embrace the Wealth of Comfort.

2 Corinthians 1:5 (VOICE) For even as His suffering continues to flood over us, through the Anointed we experience the wealth of His comfort just the same.

Beloved, embrace the wealth of comfort I offer. Refuse to stay stuck in pain. Allow Me to guide you through to the other side. There is no shame in grief or in feeling things deeply. Nor is there shame in taking time to pause – in acknowledging your experience. But there comes a moment when it is time to step forward. And just as relearning to walk after a serious injury can be difficult, moving forward after an emotional blow can be equally trying. And yet, you must try. You must carry on.

Resist the urge to wallow when it comes time to step forward. Refuse to give the enemy a toehold. Trust that My strength will sustain you. Trust that My love will uplift you. And trust that I will use all the pain for good purpose; all that was intended to bring devastation, I will use to bring more life. Because I AM the giver of life, and I give it abundantly.

The End from the Beginning

His Gift of Life by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

During a season when a dear friend was in hospice care and I was in ongoing prayer for him, Father woke me up one night with these words, “I know your first breath and your last breath.” I immediately understood He was reminding me that I didn’t need to fear because He was in control. And even more, I sensed He was reminding me that death wasn’t the last step, for He has won the victory over the grave. He guides us along life’s path. I sensed Him assuring me that He knows the beginning from the end and that the knowledge of that should fill me with comfort. As I continued to press into what I was sensing, the following word came forth.

“I am the Creator, the One who saw you in womb. I crafted you the way you are. I alone know the exact number of your days. Take courage in that fact no man knows but Me. I was there when you breathed in your first breath as a newborn child, and I will be with you as you take your last. My gaze is ever upon you. You are always in my sight pattern.  My heart leans into you, My child, for you are vital to Me.

“Take heart as you let go of loved ones on this earth, knowing I am forever with them. It is not darkness at the end of the journey, it is just an instant from earth into My loving arms.  I await the moment when we can look at each other, face to face. And I will marvel as you explore the wonder of Me as we enjoy true communion uninhibited by your earthly body.

“Don’t be afraid, I was present the moment you caught your first breath of air on this earth, and I will be attentive to you as you take your last. You are Mine, so there is nothing to dread. It’s a simple step into My arms. I have not left you to navigate this earthly realm alone; My comforter (Holy Spirit) is on the scene, to guide you directly to Me.

“Take courage as your loved ones leave this earth. For as they step into eternity, they are more alive now than ever before. They have complete freedom. Yes, you grieve as you miss the person they were, but imagine how they are embracing this new discovery and finally ridding themself of human frailty. Indeed a celebration party goes on when one of My children arrives home. This is truly home. Remember this as you learn to let them go. Have your memories and take time to grieve, but know that better days are ahead and soon you will meet them again. Everyone has an appointed time.

“There is so much more than the natural world. The spiritual realm is beyond what your human mind can comprehend. You see glimpses of it now and then, but the picture is not yet revealed. So much more awaits you, My child. Take care to seek those treasures that last, not the ones that rust. Yes, it’s good to take care of the natural body, but your primary focus is on the spiritual world. Exercise those spiritual senses. Spend time with Me so that, at the end of your time on earth, we can already be intimately acquainted.”

Psalm 39:5-6 (CJB) “Make me grasp, Adonai, what my end must be, what it means that my days are numbered; let me know what a transient creature I am. You have made my days like handbreadths; for you, the length of my life is like nothing.” Yes, everyone, no matter how firmly he stands, is merely a puff of wind. (Selah)

Psalm 139:16 (CJB) Your eyes could see me as an embryo, but in your book all my days were already written; my days had been shaped before any of them existed.

Job 14:5 (CJB) Since his days are fixed in advance, the number of his months is known to you, and you have fixed the limits which he can’t cross;

The Place of Preparation

Seek the Light” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

We may not always expect our place of preparation to be a pit as it was for Joseph (starting in Genesis 37), but such was certainly the case for me in my walk. Something my son Jonathan said to me some time ago comes to my mind a lot. When I spoke of how God seemed to use me more than I would have expected when I was in the pit, Jonathan’s reply was,“To you, it was a pit, but to God it was a place of preparation.” Continue reading “The Place of Preparation”

Journey of Destiny

God of Compassion (El Rachum) by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Exodus 40:36(VOICE) Through all their wanderings in the desert, whenever the cloud lifted up from the congregation tent, the Israelites would break camp and set out.

Psalm 56:8(TPT) You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.

There are times when things may hit us unexpectedly. Something may come out of the blue–throwing us off completely. We may immediately begin to search inwardly thinking we have done something wrong in order for THIS to happen. Unexpected life changes can have a way of feeling like a hard blow to the gut– leaving us feeling like the wind is knocked out of us. Even in THIS, Papa reminds us He is NEVER caught off-guard and He IS with us. Continue reading “Journey of Destiny”

Rest Weightlessly in the Ocean of My Love

Psalm 42:5 (VOICE) Why am I so overwrought? Why am I so disturbed? Why can’t I just hope in God? Despite all my emotions, I will believe and praise the One who saves me and is my life.

Beloved, resist the urge to allow tumultuous emotions to weigh you down. Instead, rest weightlessly in the ocean of My love. I AM your heart’s desire, and I AM Ruwm Rosh – the lifter of your head. Look to Me, and let Me meet each need.

I AM holy, beloved, and true to My word. Trust My heart for you. Press through with praise – regardless of circumstance, and see the outpouring of love I lavish upon the ones whose hearts seek fast after Me. Continue reading “Rest Weightlessly in the Ocean of My Love”

Rally to Me

Isaiah 5:26 (GW) The Lord raises up a flag for the nations far away. With a whistle he signals those at the ends of the earth. Look, they are coming very quickly!

Beloved, come when I rally My people.  Be sure to heed My call. Come quickly. Respond in haste – as one sensitive to My lead. For when I unite hearts for My purpose, heaven and earth are moved, atmospheres are changed, and the hearts of men respond in love and truth.

So come forth out of depression and sorrow, and step forth into the battle for victory. Rejoice and be glad as you stand in faith prepared to move. I AM that I AM – the Lord of Hosts is My name. Rally to Me.  Continue reading “Rally to Me”
