Journey of Destiny

God of Compassion (El Rachum) by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Exodus 40:36(VOICE) Through all their wanderings in the desert, whenever the cloud lifted up from the congregation tent, the Israelites would break camp and set out.

Psalm 56:8(TPT) You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.

There are times when things may hit us unexpectedly. Something may come out of the blue–throwing us off completely. We may immediately begin to search inwardly thinking we have done something wrong in order for THIS to happen. Unexpected life changes can have a way of feeling like a hard blow to the gut– leaving us feeling like the wind is knocked out of us. Even in THIS, Papa reminds us He is NEVER caught off-guard and He IS with us. Continue reading “Journey of Destiny”

Love in the Wilderness

Dear one, I know you have felt alone, maybe even abandoned, but beloved I do not leave or forsake my children.  I am with you in every season you walk through.  I know you view the wilderness as punishment but it’s not.  I lead you into the wilderness to have you to Myself.  The wilderness is where we work together.  It’s where we talk and pray together. I was with My Son in the wilderness for 40 days and look what we accomplished!  The wilderness is where I get to love you and have you all to myself.  Remember, I am a Jealous God and I will not share you with another.  Do not despise the wilderness instead embrace it for I am there.

The Desert is in Bloom

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV) He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

There is beauty and life blossoming within you, beloved, you just have to look for it. I know the state of your life has seemed so dry and barren for so long. But the past is the past and a glorious future is now upon you. Continue reading “The Desert is in Bloom”

Look Ahead

Revelation 21:4 (AMPC) God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.

Beloved, resist the urge to get swept up in the cares and pains of this world. Remember that your time on earth is like the blink of an eye, while My Kingdom is everlasting. Sorrow may last for a night, but remember to embrace the joy of the new day – for it always comes.

The griefs and trials of today will pass, so be intentional to look ahead and align with eternity. Grieve, but don’t be overcome with grief. Trust My heart. Trust My plan. Allow My Spirit to comfort and encourage you. Rest in Me. Rely on Me. Hide yourself in Me. And look ahead. Continue reading “Look Ahead”

Dry and Weary

The path felt so dry and weary. Day after day of battling old thought patterns, feelings of hopelessness, unbelief and grief over dead dreams. Pushing forward trying to dream again but failing to stir up joy, to fan the flame. Seeking the face of God and His comfort. Clinging to His truths while struggling to overcome the embedded lies. Clinging to the Beloved {poem}

Beloved, He calls you in the desert – the trials of the flesh.
He pours His love upon you, your spirit He will refresh.
He whispers your name so sweetly, His hand upon your face.
His love is overwhelming, overflowing is His grace.
He will never leave you forsaken, though testing drags endlessly on.
His hand remains upon you, you know where you belong.
Yield your heart to the Beloved, He’ll hold it ever near.
Cling to Him as bedrock, nothing you’ll have to fear.
His heart is ever with you, the two having become one.
His heart is ever steadfast, there is no need to run.
Regardless of your shortfall, ever He is drawing near.
No mistake or default enough to cause Him to steer clear.
Cling to Him ever closer, for steadfast remains He.
True to His beloved – the one He’ll never leave.

Bringing Forth the Good

2 Corinthians 12:7 (AMP) Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me—to keep me from exalting myself!

Beloved, do not think for one moment that I will not allow you to walk through trials – even in the natural, children who are indulged and overprotected become spoiled and entitled – so I will allow trials to mold character in your life and I do this for your own benefit. What I promise you is that I will be with you through them all, I will never give you more than you can handle (with Me), and I will use them all for good.

So as you find yourself in the midst of trials, look for Me there. Seek Me and ask Me what I AM working in the midst of it to grow and bless. Trust that My heart toward you is good and My plans for you are good. Refuse to allow that perspective to waver. The enemy will whisper lies to you about My character, refuse to listen and cling to Me all the more. I will never leave you or forsake you, so stand fast and allow Me to bring forth the good. I AM the Life Giver

Psalm 78:20 (VOICE) He split open the rock, and water gushed out; streams and rivers were overflowing!…

Beloved, I AM the Life Giver. Just as the rain saturates the ground causing it to flourish, so I will pour out My life-giving flow of Holy Spirit over you that you might flourish and bring forth life and life more abundantly. I am even now saturating you. Receive!

No heart is too broken or cracked, no heart is too hardened or dead for Me. Have I not brought forth life-giving water from a rock? Nothing is too hard for Me. I will saturate you. I will overflow your spirit with My own. I will bring forth life in the desert places because I AM the giver of life and I love to see you flourish.

Time to Flourish and Bloom

Isaiah 35:1 (TLB) Even the wilderness and desert will rejoice in those days; the desert will blossom with flowers.

Beloved, now is the time to bloom! Walk forward in peace and wisdom for it is time to prosper and flourish. My call is given without repentance. I haven’t changed My mind about you or the plans I have for you. I will see them through to their completion, never leaving your side, ever cheering you on as you blossom into the fullness of all I’ve created you for and called you to.

I’m not done with you yet. I have so much more in store. Hang on. Things are not dry or dying, but simply making way for new life. This desert is going to bloom. So make ready and prepare a place, for abundance is about to overtake you – so much that your storehouses won’t be able to contain it all. Make ready, beloved. It’s time to flourish and bloom!

Fruit from Adversity

For I have loved you with an everlasting love, and My eye is ever upon you for you are so lovely to My gaze. Nothing about you – no aspect of your life or your past – goes unseen by Me, nor am I unfeeling to anything that has wounded you. Each wound you’ve received I felt even in greater measure, for I treasure you and hold you dear – I would that you NEVER be hurt. And yet, to those wounds I will bring healing, and through those wounds I will bring testimony that speaks of the power of My love. Nothing will be wasted. So hold fast in adversity, I am with you to bring you through and My love will cause fruit to burst forth from the land plowed by hardships. I bring life in the desert and joy even in the dark places. So again, hold fast – mourning may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning!
