Beloved, we were never intended to carry burdens. The One who holds out His arms waiting to receive yours is fully able and fully trustworthy. He is more mindful of your needs, desires, and call than you are; and He knows how to lead you and guide you and protect you – and will do so as you let Him. Trust without fear. He who loves you is able to carry you. Be at rest in His arms. There is peace in His presence and healing in His hands. His love will overtake any obstacle as you enter His arms.
Psalms 55:22 (TPT) So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.
So it comes down to this: since you have been raised with the Anointed One, the Liberating King, set your mind on heaven above. The Anointed is there, seated at God’s right hand. Stay focused on what’s above, not on earthly things, because your old life is dead and gone. Your new life is now hidden, enmeshed with the Anointed who is in God.
In my desire to always have a heart of repentance, my constant prayer to be cleansed, my cry to be transformed more into Jesus’ image, and by my intentional choice to remain watchful of how I live and represent my God – even in doing all that, I may come upon something that rears its head. Something that I thought was out of the way – healed and dealt with. Another layer of my soul has revealed something that is still present from events of the past that are in need of attention. As I bring these things to the Lord, He is faithful to continue to work on these layers of my inner being. He’s ever so careful and gentle in dealing with me one layer at a time. I am startled out of a deep slumber by the sound of banging. At first I am afraid but then curiosity gets the best of me. I get out of bed and notice the whole house is so lifeless, old and dark. The only light is from the moon as it shines through the windows. There is little light to guide me as I make my way toward the sound that awoke me. I can see well enough to make out an open door at the end of the hall. As I approach the door I realize that’s where the banging is coming from. The room is completely empty. As I enter the room I can see a figure banging on the wall with bare hands like they are trying to break through. Continue reading “Complete Surrender”
Mark 10:14-15 (AMP) But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and He said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever does not receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”
God loves those who are childlike, full of faith and trust and filled with the light of His love and life. They don’t allow the lies of the enemy to shut them down. They turn their gaze on their Abba Daddy, King of the Universe, and their Shepherd, knowing He guards and protects them, and they move forward into all God has. These Kingdom children know that God delights in their exuberance and passion and play. They know He leads them and protects them, guarding their path and enabling their joyful, playful light of life to come forth and shine – making way for those who have been crushed in spirit to return to Abba Daddy and be restored into their joy-filled, passionate purpose once again. Isaiah 43:14-15 (VOICE) The Holy One of Israel, the Eternal One who redeemed you, says, …I am the Eternal, your Holy One. I am your King…
Beloved, I AM the Holy One of Israel – YHVH Ga’al, the Lord your redeemer. Behold I have snatched you from the jaws of death and brought you into eternal life. So embrace life and walk in the freedom you’ve been given.
Let nothing tempt you to waste the gift you’ve been given, beloved. Though free, this gift came at a high cost. And I deemed you well worth the cost. Walk in the knowledge that you are precious and worthy and prized.
Romans 5:8 (TPT) But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!
Beloved, My love for you is not in doubt. It has been clearly demonstrated that you might have no cause to question. So resist the urge to push against the truth that I find you worthy. Worthy of life at the cost of death. Worthy.
You didn’t have to do anything to curry My favor. You simply are – and what you are is precious to Me. Embrace My gift. Beloved, you have been redeemed. Walk as one who has been set free, for you are free indeed.
