Be Known for Your Grace

1 Peter 3:9 (TLB) Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t snap back at those who say unkind things about you. Instead, pray for God’s help for them, for we are to be kind to others, and God will bless us for it.

Beloved, be known for your grace. Be known for being unoffendable. Refuse to allow your pride to be pricked, but instead seek to understand the heart motives behind careless and hurtful actions and pray for those who deliver them. You need not endure abuse, but simply remove yourself quietly rather than taking issue with your assailant. I AM the Lord and I will repay.

Be quick to forgive, leaving all to My hand of justice, for I AM the righteous judge. Beloved, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you. Keep your heart tender and trust Me to protect and heal you. Continue reading “Be Known for Your Grace”

Refuse to Relinquish Love

1 John 2:9 (VOICE) Anyone who says, “I live in the light,” but hates his brother or sister is still living in the shadows.

Beloved, be known by your love. Love is an action. Love costs you something. Love brings light and disperses darkness. Look to Me to see how love is defined “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NLT).

Refuse to withhold your heart, beloved. Love is always the right choice, but true love is not always gentle, so ask Me for wisdom on how to love and let Me teach you. And in the moments of sacrifice, heartache and longing; remember I have felt that pain as well, and press into Me – knowing that you are sharing My sufferings and understanding My heart more deeply, but refuse to relinquish love for it is always the right choice.

An Irrefutable Testimony

Matthew 19:21 (AMP) Jesus answered him, “If you wish to be perfect [that is, have the spiritual maturity that accompanies godly character with no moral or ethical deficiencies], go and sell what you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”

Beloved, hold nothing back from Me. Follow hard after Me. Allow Me to work My perfect purpose in and through you. As you allow Me in restrained access, My burning passion and the fire of My Holy Spirit refines and matures you, bringing forth your inherent strength and beauty of character.

Then as you walk in My favor – as one with unreserved access to the King – I will cause the miraculous to follow you. For your faith has declared My faithfulness thus My power will make manifest the fruit of your faith, making your life and your walk an irrefutable testimony of who I AM.

Who I Give Honor to is Honored

Proverbs 16:31 (GW) Silver hair is a beautiful crown found in a righteous life.

Beloved, embrace the sign of wisdom and experience. It is a crown of honor. Even in moments when others refuse to give honor or bring dishonor (either in ignorance or intentionally), it does not change the fact that I honor the wisdom that comes through years spent with Me. If others choose not to align, that is an indicator of their own state, not yours. For who I give honor to is honored.

{praying} Sensing a prayer over the elders that they would have grace and patience with the younger generation – as they rush about often barely pausing to breathe and who too often in arrogance refuse wise counsel – continue to gently persist in giving it, speaking words of truth and life. As you echo the Voice of heaven and His heart, your words and actions have impact whether you get to see that impact or not. Trust it is there, and continue in obedience reflecting His heart. For it is vital to the body of Christ. Your role is vital. You are a blessing. Thank you.

Giving and Receiving Honor

1 Samuel 2:30 (AMP) …But now the Lord declares, ‘Far be it from Me—for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant and contemptible.

Beloved, when you give honor where honor is due you are also honoring Me. It is a sign you recognize those I have raised up and are coming into agreement with Me. It is more powerful than you know and requires humility to walk out.

And beloved, when you are the one rightly receiving honor, remember then too you honor Me to receive it. You are coming into agreement with what (and who) I have deemed worthy of exalting. Do so with humility, but receive the honor given knowing it not only blesses Me to see you honored and acknowledged, but it also gives Me glory.

Walk in Purity of Heart, Mind, and Spirit

1 Peter 1:15 (VOICE) Since the One who called you is holy, be holy in all you do.

Beloved, it’s time to step up to a new level. Things that were permissible in the old season must be released for you to move forward into all I’ve called you to. It’s time to let go or be dragged behind and miss My perfect will. Be holy, beloved, for I AM holy. Check your heart, your mind, and your deeds to make certain they are rightly aligned with Me. You know My voice.

Choose that which is best, not that which is acceptable. My love for you is unconditional, but the fulfillment you will experience from walking in the calling I have for you far surpasses the temporary “pleasures” of that which seeks to waylay you. Be holy, beloved. Allow the refining of My Spirit to do its work. Walk in purity of heart, mind, and spirit.

My Rhythm and Harmony 

Ecclesiastes 3:1 For everything that happens in life—there is a season, a right time for everything under heaven

Beloved, everything I do has a rhythm and a flow. Each thing in its perfect timing. Like an orchestra playing a powerful piece of music and each instrument, each melody, each beat needs to be in perfect timing – flawlessly synchronized – to create the desired harmony. Creation is orchestrated for My glory. All are blessed and moved by the way things align, like shivers from a sweeping arpeggio or a grand crescendo.

Each season, each moment perfectly timed. Yield to My flow. Trust My rhythm. I AM always on time: never early, never late. Move with Me – not trying to rush ahead, nor trying to drag your feet. Experience the exquisiteness of My harmony.

Do What is Good 

1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV) “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.

Beloved, I have given you the ability to choose that you might choose well. Choose things that bring life. Choose things that build up. Choose things that foster relationship with Me. Will I force you to make certain choices? No. But don’t think for a moment that I don’t have a strong opinion on what you should pick or that I am not eagerly awaiting seeing what decisions you make.

I AM highly vested in you. In the outcome of your like and walk! I love you, a desire blessing for you. It’s why so much of My word is dedicated to instructing you in right and wrong that you might make informed decisions. Choosing that which is good, perfect, and true. Choose Me and the things of Me.

Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Do Not Be Distracted By the “Good”

Psalm 127:1 (VOICE) Unless the Eternal builds the house, those who labor to raise it will have worked for nothing. Unless the Eternal stands watch over the city, those who guard it have wasted their time.

Beloved, don’t waste your efforts on things I have not called you to, expending your energy and leaving yourself too worn out to complete the tasks to which you have been assigned.  If the enemy cannot stop you from doing good, he will try to deplete your energy and divide your vision by putting “good” things in your path to keep you from the things I have called you to put your efforts and energy to. Stick to your call. Stay aligned with My perfect will. There will always be more “good” things to turn your time and efforts to than you could possibly begin to complete.

Do not be distracted or emotionally manipulated into doing things I have not called you to. In doing these things not only to you misuse the resources I’ve given you, but you block the path of the one I HAVE called to do that “good” thing. So step out of the way. Be ok with saying no – trusting that all those involved want you only where I want you and if they don’t, THEY are out of alignment, not you – that isn’t for you to fix. You leading by example that following My will and trusting Me to put everyone in their right place encourages others to do the same.
