Explore with Me

Isaiah 45:3 (VOICE) I will give you hidden treasures and wealth tucked away in secret places; I will reveal them to you. Then you will know that I am the Eternal, the God of Israel, who calls you by name.

Beloved, I have so much more for you – things below the surface, outside your immediate natural understanding – will you go deep with Me? Will you allow Me to give you revelation? Will you choose to take the time – make the time – for us to be together?

Seek Me as you would immeasurable riches, for I AM more worthy and considerably more satisfying than such. Explore with Me. Together let us plumb the depths of My mysteries that I may share with you and teach you as I have promised. Continue reading “Explore with Me”

Sober and Singleminded

Proverbs 4:25 (AMPC) Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you.

Beloved, resist the urge to be sidetracked or to lose focus. I have given you purpose and a call, and behold it is good and worthy – worthy of your time, attention, and focus. So keep your gaze fixed, not looking to the left or to the right, and not wasting time looking back – for I AM your rear guard and I go before you, there is nothing to fear.

The cares of this world may try to draw you in through worry and fear, and the temptations of this world will seek to lull you into complacency, but you know – you know, beloved – that time is short. So be sober and singleminded in purpose. Expand the Kingdom and make My name great.

Lead by Example and Pray

Proverbs 14:34 (VOICE) Living according to God’s instructions makes a nation great, but sin colors those who commit it with disgrace.

Beloved, lead by example. Walk in freedom unhindered by sinful pursuits. Keep your mind – thoughts and actions – fixed on Me. Operate in love rather than being tempted to pride or judgment. Encourage others to be their best selves by being your best self. Show them what it looks like. Let them ask you how to walk that way rather then judging their ungodly behavior as they are still in the world.

Pray for them. Pray for your nation. Pray for your leaders. I AM sovereign. I lift men up and make them great. Trust that My will can be accomplished and pray that it would be. Ultimately you are in My hands and that is a good place to be. Continue reading “Lead by Example and Pray”

Bridle Your Tongue and Love Like Me

James 1:19 (VOICE) Listen, open your ears, harness your desire to speak, and don’t get worked up into a rage so easily, my brothers and sisters.

Beloved, be intentional to bridle your tongue. Resist the urge to vent your frustrations and instead cultivate peace so the frustration won’t come as easily. Like a muscle that can be trained and strengthened, you can increase your ability to hold onto your inner peace. Press into My Spirit. Allow Me to bring you shalom – the peace that wars against chaos – in every circumstance.  What you feed will grow. Will you feed the frustration or feed the peace?

Listen, beloved. Hear beyond people’s hurts and pride. Hear what is underneath them. Listen with My ears and hear with My heart. See the wounds and brokenness that cause the behavior. Be moved with compassion. Pray for them. Demonstrate My love instead of reacting to offense. Choose to love like Me, and walk in peace and unshakable joy. Nurture Your Inner Man

Proverbs 31:30 (AMPC) Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!

Beloved, do not be sucked in by vanity, ever chasing fickle trends and the approval of man. Allow the radiance of your countenance to shine, and the soft glow of My presence resting on you to bring forth beauty.

May your heart’s focus be on Me, not on the cares of this world – though yes, it is right to take care of your outer body and belongings, that should not take precedent over nurturing your inner man in relationship with Me.

So worship Me without reserve. Gaze on My face with reverential awe. Listen keenly for My voice. Rejoice in the wonder of My presence. Be made whole. Be made beautiful.

Hear Me Roar

Proverbs 19:12 (VOICE) A king’s rage is like the thunderous roar of a lion, but his favor is like a cooling mist upon the grass.

Beloved, I fiercely love My children. I jealously guard them and have set My hosts around them to protect and battle on their behalf. You are Mine – My anointed people – and I roar over you. Do you not hear the sound? It reverberates through the heavens, and for everyone in that realm, there is no doubt you are under My protection.

Trust that I AM covering you. Even when you don’t see it. I AM thwarting the enemy’s plans left and right, protecting you from unseen dangers and traps. I AM covering you. I AM your rear guard and I go before you. I conquer the enemy and his attacks by day, and rebuke the enemy and his terrors by night. I AM with you and you are Mine. Continue reading “Hear Me Roar”
