Roaring

Jessica Smith Art

God told me that He is ROARING over His children! This is why I love drawing the roaring lion. He’s roaring over you! Roaring at your enemies. Roaring at the obstacles. Roaring at the darkness. How your enemies tremble in His presence. Demonic enemies become nothing at the blast of His nostrils… the sound of His thunder drains their strength. They become dust in the wind of His mighty Spirit. God is on your side. He invites you to take comfort in the safety of His embrace while He roars over you. Accept that invitation today and the joy of the Lord will be your strength. Continue reading “Roaring”

The Power of His Voice

Wake Up by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

His transcendent majesty and power is beyond comprehension. We celebrate His creative power: that at His spoken word, the galaxies, planets and stars were launched into being – that all of His teeming creation rushes to respond to the sound of His voice. His voice speaks life, truth, wisdom, instruction and creativity. Who else displays such power and magnificence?  Continue reading “The Power of His Voice”

Attuned to His Voice

Listen to the Sound” by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art

Very early in my prophetic walk, I had several incredible encounters with the audible voice of God. Other than a smattering of Scripture references to this voice, it had never entered my mind that such encounters still happened. Primarily, I had these experiences while I was asleep. Somewhere between dreams, I would find myself pulled into a completely dark place. While my body was asleep, my inner man was suddenly wide awake. In the majority of these encounters, the only sense that was engaged was my spiritual hearing.

Speak Life (Ezekiel 37)

James 3:9-11 (VOICE) Ironically this same tongue can be both an instrument of blessing to our Lord and Father and a weapon that hurls curses upon others who are created in God’s own image. One mouth streams forth both blessings and curses. My brothers and sisters, this is not how it should be. Does a spring gush crystal clear freshwater and moments later spurt out bitter salt water?

Beloved, would you be a vessel for darkness? And yet the temptation to speak the things of darkness into existence is strong, but you are stronger. So refuse to give in to bitterness and anger, jealousy and hatred, greed and destruction. Look to the root that wants to bear such fruit and invite Me to move. Then as you trust My sovereignty, watch as I bring forth beauty from ashes and give joy for mourning. Continue reading “Speak Life (Ezekiel 37)”

Joyful Praise

Praise Me from the very depths of you, down in your innermost area. Praise when you don’t feel like it and when it’s hard to do. Such moments of praise arise to the next level for, as your Father, I know that it is truly a sacrifice of praise.

Let your whole being—your body, soul, and spirit—come into one and praise Me. Let your praise bubble from the well that is deep within you, and let it come out like an explosion. Let it be as a symphony to the King, your King!   Continue reading “Joyful Praise”

Fruit of Your Lips

Hebrews 13:15 (TPT) So we no longer offer up a steady stream of blood sacrifices, but through Jesus, we will offer up to God a steady stream of praise sacrifices—these are “the lambs” we offer from our lips that celebrate his name!

Beloved, may the fruit of your lips pour forth in praise to the One who is worthy. You have a choice of whether or not you bring forth fruit, and what kind of fruit it is. Will you withhold that which I AM worthy of? Or will you give it to another?

Surely as you nurture a heart full of gratitude, you will find yourself unable to hold back your praise. So cultivate a heart of thanksgiving and release your song of joy and love that the fruit of your lips might be sweet.  Continue reading “Fruit of Your Lips”
