Psalm 69:9 (TPT) My love for you has my heart on fire! My passion consumes me for your house! Nothing will turn me away, even though I endure all the insults of those who insult you.
Beloved, attune your ear to My heart. Be so consumed with My Word and My standard of righteousness that our desires meld into one. Allow My passion to burn as a fire in your veins, and rise up as My covenant defender. Continue reading “Be My Covenant Defender”
That burning inside you is of Me.I placed that flame inside you and the wind of the Holy Spirit fans it. Giving it strength when needed. The strength to stand up for injustice, to fight for one another. We are at war!The things of this world and the things of Heaven. The enemy would rather you be quiet and let your fire die down to tiny embers. I stoke the fires, I resurrect the dead things. Hebrews 12:28-29 (NKJV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.
Beloved, remember there is no fear in love for perfect love casts out fear. You have had encounters with My heart, brushes with My Presence, and you have known times of sweet unity as My Spirit has poured through you like water. Yes, My love is overwhelming—both refreshing, living waters and an all-consuming fire. And that love for you never changes in its intensity. It is only the fear of losing yourself and being changed as you are swept away by My love that causes you to hold back and causes you to hesitate in reciprocating My love in kind. Numbers 25:12-13 (TPT) So I want you to declare this: “I, your God, do pledge to Phinehas a covenant of peace, not only for him but for his descendants too. I promise they will always be priests because in his jealousy for Me, Phinehas covered the wickedness of the Israelites.”
Beloved, I AM a rewarder of those who pour out their devotion to Me. Just as you have not withheld from Me, so I will not withhold My blessing from you. Beloved, sometimes My blessing is simply staving off a curse or hardship. You may not always be aware of My hand at work, but never doubt that it is.
Beloved, I remember when you would not so much as take a step without asking Me if you were supposed to. Nothing shook your walk with Me. You were steadfast – immovable. I long for more of those days. I long for your first love, but something has shifted. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I have not changed or moved. My heart toward you has not changed. I am ever with you, and I will never forsake you. I have blessed you and bestowed spiritual gifts on you. I have remained the same.Continue reading “First Love”
Numbers 25:11 (TPT) Eternal One:Phinehas (Eleazar’s son and Priest Aaron’s grandson) has done well. He saved the Israelites. Because he was so zealous on My account, tolerating no compromise, I did not consume the people of Israel with My jealousy.
Beloved, I see your passion for Me. Your unreserved willingness to be obedient. Your steadfast intention to walk in integrity and model it for those around you by intentionally setting the bar high and through your very actions challenging them to step up and be their best self.
I do not take your zeal lightly. And though you’ve acted in quiet humility, I will raise you up and showcase you as one who loves Me with their whole heart. So continue to shine brightly, beloved, and know that I recognize and am moved by your ardent devotion.Continue reading “Ardent Devotion”
Psalm 119:139 (TPT) I’ve been consumed with a furious passion to do what’s right, all because of the way my enemies disrespect your laws.
You may feel like you want to scream your frustration from the rooftop toward the ones who don’t care to fully obey or simply, to respect the God Almighty. The Father loves your zeal for Him but don’t get discouraged when other’s aren’t ready or mature enough yet to see Him or love Him as you do. It’s important to allow Him to refine your passion so you don’t cause unintentional hurt. Continue reading “Trust Him to Guide”
